Introduction: Health indicators are parameters for monitoring the reality that guide the processes to improve results and help demonstrate the value of the practices provided, allowing professionals and organizations to monitor how well they have worked. Despite the relevance of this measuring device, especially in the context of hospitals, little has been portrayed and disseminated in the literature regarding its use in Occupational Therapy practices. Methodology: Study with a quantitative, descriptive and exploratory approach. Carried out through the creation of a structured online form, available via the Google Forms® virtual platform, containing about 90 mostly closed questions, divided into three axes: general identification of the participant; demand and information management and the personal-situational condition, being eligible to hospital OTs in the State of São Paulo. Data was analyzed using the R software, using three Mann-Whitney statistical tests; Phi and Cramer V coefficients, according to the nature of the variables. Results: It is verified the existence of the use of indicators in the practice of hospital OT, with greater association with professionals with attributions related to management and the CLT work regime, being the use of operational work routines (OWR) or the need for measurement of productivity variables important for this use. In addition, there were also significant variables for this use: feeling qualified, being trained, having heard about indicators and being specialized. Discussion: There is an association between the use of indicators by OT in hospital practices linked to meeting institutional administrative needs, identified by the trend of monitoring practices focused on measuring volume and the low assessment of the quality of care provided, such as measurement of the results of the practices (value). In addition, there is a deficit in the professionals' awareness and theoretical-technical training, which makes it possible to understand the importance of using effective quality measures to demonstrate the distinct value of Occupational Therapy in its broader contexts. The lack of use of objective measures weakens the hard core of OT and hinders the process of consolidating the profession. Conclusions: The use of indicators, in the practices of occupational therapists, is essentially linked to bureaucratic work and the need to measure productivity. The educational deficit on indicators is evidenced as a limiting factor for their use, resulting in the mistaken and biased use of these measures. The emerging need for permanent and continuous training, with a focus on this theme, is highlighted, so that OT professionals’ transit in thought and actions, to incorporate objective measures into practices, in view of the growing need to demonstrate the unique value of profession.

Shewhart-type location control chart based on capability indices Cp and Cpk applied to profile monitoring
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-12-01) Morales, Daily; Oprime, Pedro Carlos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9291517431456908; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2382403231406668
Through their statistical limits, statistical control charts are essential tools for process monitoring and control, helping to interpret its stability and detect deviations when the process is under the action of special causes. This sensitivity is an advantage for processes needing precise control but is a drawback where some slack in the process is permissible. Even though small attributable causes may be inherent to the process, their removal may become impossible, impractical, or expensive, and control charts need to be "desensitized" in detecting small shifts that are not necessarily of practical significance. The increasing availability of data made possible by the intensive use of sensors and data collectors, typical of Industry 4.0, have made of profile monitoring an up-and-coming area of research, and the location control chart a standing out alternative due to its applicability and simplicity, keeping all the data information observed in each location where the profile needs to be evaluated. This thesis discusses the need for desensitization of the location control charts to ensure that signs of an out-of-control process that do not present a high risk of producing non-conforming items are ignored. Using process capability indices Cp and Cpk, this thesis aimed to propose and evaluate a location control graph model with expanded limits based on Shewhart-type control charts, considering its practical and economic significance. By comparing the results obtained for the location control chart using the traditional approach and the location control chart with expanded limits based on Cp and Cpk proposed in this thesis, was observed that the expanded control limits had performed better. There was a significant reduction in the likelihood of signaling that the process is out-of-control when this is irrelevant or, at least, does not present practical or economic significance. Since the location control chart developed does not aim to control the stability of the process but to prevent the process from producing items outside the specification limits, the results demonstrate that, from the economic point of view, it constitutes a more interesting alternative to the traditional approach.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-12-01) Fonseca, Letícia Gomes; Leite, Paula Fernanda de Andrade; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4139694012784127; Ferigato, Sabrina Helena; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3248396158325409; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1319317073167441
This research aimed to investigate the experience of women's participation. black women in the Bloco Afro Ilú Obá De Min, a project developed by the São Paulo association, without for profit, Ilú Obá De Min - Education, Culture and Black Art, in order to understand if the involvement of these women with the Block influenced the production of their health mental. Thus, this work is based on the theoretical-methodological principles of Brazilian Psychosocial Care, and contemporary works that address the relationship between the social markers of gender and ethnic-racial in psychological distress, starting from the intersectional feminist epistemology. In this theoretical perspective, we sought to articulate the mental health, gender and race concepts. Using the cartography method, it was followed the procedural nature of the participation of these women in the association Ilú Obá De Min. cartographies of these participation processes were produced, with an emphasis on the interface between health. mental and culture. And, the concept of black culture, present in the Afro Block Ilú Obá De Min, as an assumption that this sociocultural category can positively interfere in the mental health of black women. From the development of research and data produced, it was possible to identify clues that indicate processes of production and care of its mental health, by the participants, who are built through participation in Ilú Obá De Min.

This study aims at recognizing the importance of graphic novels as literary genres and their capacity of promoting important discussions to society. Looking at this perspective, Liv Strömquist’s work is used as the object of this study, which analyses in “Fruit of Knowledge” the use of tools such as irony and humor in order to give a new meaning to everything which permeates the female and erasure the patriarchy majoritarian speech. Sustained by the proposal of language renovation discussed by Richard Rorty (2007), which looks for a more joint construction of the communication and, consequently, less based in absolutisms. This analysis also counts on an expanded look at the graphic novels’ universe which uses both written text and image, creating a complex literary construction, expanding meanings and ways of looking at the world around us, requiring then a panoramic view of everything, unflattening meanings and allowing the amplification of metaphors. Keywords: graphic novel, irony, humor, female, patriarch, erasure, rupture

The species Leontopithecus chrysopygus, endemic to the Atlantic Forest of the state of São Paulo, is considered endangered by the IUCN and IBAMA. It is estimated that currently the free-living population of this species does not exceed 1500 animals. In captivity, there are just over 50 individuals, which have difficulty reproducing, a fact that has contributed to the population decline and increase in inbreeding levels. Priority actions for the conservation of this species known as black lion tamarin (MLP) have highlighted the importance of studies that expand the knowledge about genetic diversity in forest fragments with different degrees of alteration. This knowledge is especially relevant to assist the monitoring and management of wild populations, as well as captive groups, which constitute an important source for conservation programs, but need to renew their stocks. Overall, with the objective of contributing to the Black Lion Tamarin Conservation Program and the National Action Plan for the Conservation (PAN) of Primates of the Atlantic Forest, first we carried out integrated pedigree and microsatellites analyzes to infer demographic and genetic diversity parameters, and assess the genetic structure of captive groups of the species. Next, a systematic literature review was carried out to gather and raise relevant information about ecology, behavior, genetics, and conservation of black lion tamarin populations in different landscapes. Finally, we examined neutral and non-neutral genetic diversity and investigated putative signals of differential selection in wild populations using single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) prospected by sequencing genotyping (GBS) of next generation data. In addition, we determine the degree of relatedness and characterize the genetic structure of populations based on the identified SNPs. The methodology used and the main results regarding the approaches used and their implications are presented and discussed in this thesis in three chapters organized as scientific articles.
