listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Narrativas: elementos constitutivos da formação de professores no âmbito dos cursos pré-vestibular - quem somos e para onde vamos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Nascimento, Edson Ricardo Nunes; Lopes, Nataly Carvalho; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0285391776145231Popular preparatory courses have always been part of my history. I began my journey with them in my third year of high school, when I was a student at the FEAUSP preparatory course. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have always been involved in projects related to teaching, and in 2018 I enrolled in the popular preparatory course for university entrance exams at UFSCar in Araras, UFSCurso, where I had my first experiences with teaching and extension projects. Throughout the history of popular preparatory courses, their role in society has always been based on the idea of bringing a liberating education to the most needy segments of society. Despite their formative nature, within a non-formal education, popular preparatory courses can be highly formative environments, both for educators and students. From there, this work aims to understand the formative potential within the scope of popular preparatory courses, and mainly what are the formative needs constructed throughout teaching within UFSCurso, and the role of formative extension (communication). As a result, the research showed that the UFSCar Popular Preparatory Course in Araras, as a great teacher trainer, proved to be very effective in theory and practice, especially in creating the teaching identity of its extension workers. In addition, the practice of extension as communication was present in the relationship between students and teachers, although there are crucial points for it to successfully perform its role as a trainer of cognitive and critical subjects. The circumstances experienced by COVID-19 pandemic intensified an already urgent situation: the need of restoring the humane dimension of teaching. Providing a humane formation to our students means to integrate affective dimension to the cognitive dimension in pedagogical practice. This study aimed to identify the perception of Natural Sciences teachers (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) on emotions and affectivity in their practices during classes to High School students and how emotions and affectivity were related to and integrated with cognition, having as theoretical support Vygotsky and Wallon ideas. To achieve it, this mastering degree research was qualitative whose methodology consisted in doing individual semi-structured interviews with three teachers. The analysis was made by the Discursive Textual Analysis, with the categorization and discussion of parts of the transcript speeches and reports of the researcher’s observations. As conclusions from the interviewed teachers’ speeches, we realize they have the perception that the affective dimension, theirs and their students’, is part of the development processes which occur in school. They also reflect on the affective dimension and, even though it has not been formalized systematically in courses how to develop it properly, they attempt to integrate it to their work with the cognitive dimension so students’ education can be complete and the teaching-learning processes can be enriched by more accurate pedagogical mediations.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Supercondutividade aplicada a dispositivos de inserção: rota de fabricação de bobinas de Nb-Ti para um Wavelength Shifter de 6,32 T(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Cavassani, Isadora Balbino; Seraphim, Rafael Molena; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9530569105597963The demand for building a high-performance X-ray tomography beamline energy in the Brazilian synchrotron accelerator, Sirius, required the development of a project for a superconducting magnet with a magnetic field greater than 6 T. Aiming at this, there was the interest of Division of Engineering and Technology of the National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) in starting research in the field of Superconductivity. In this sense, a multidisciplinary team developed the preliminary design of a magnet superconductor with three poles, one central and two lateral, of 6.32 T peak field, called Superconducting Wavelength Shifter (SWLS). The definition of the magnet models was based on simulations seeking to respect the design assumptions: operation in a straight stretch, reuse of the maximum equipment of a deactivated superconducting magnet in CNPEM, magnetic field above 6 T, narrow field profile in the central pole region (FWHM ≈ 30), magnetic gap 7 mm and operating margin above 20%. The SWLS electromagnetic model has a set consisting of 6 superconducting coils of Nb-Ti. After defining the parameters of the superconducting wire and the model geometry, a fabrication route for superconducting coils was proposed. Afterwards, she was validated with the development of a copper prototype. This Final Course Work presents important concepts about superconductivity applied to insertion devices, such as SWLS, and the development of the superconducting magnet project to define the models and coil manufacturing route, as well as the prototyping of a copper coil as a route validation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Uma abordagem para o 'também'-aditivo do Português Brasileiro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Cipolli, Matheus Bittencourt; Basso, Renato Miguel; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6984826176670527; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8035653361866215The main goal of the present master thesis is to define, within the model of formal semantics of natural languages, one of the main uses of ‘também’ in Brazilian Portuguese, which we call additive-‘também’. For a detailed and comprehensive definition of this use, it is necessary to mobilize several different researches of the relevant areas, such as the analyses of ‘too’ in Green (1968), Kaplan (1984), Krifka (1990) and Amsili, Beyssade et al. (2010) as well as the analyses of coordination found in Winter (2006) and Zhang (2014), which help to describe the additive component of the object of this research. The process of describing ‘também’ additionally mobilizes discussions of presupposition and, in particular, of anaphora, which represents a fundamental part of the additive function of ‘também’. In the course of this work, such previous research will be contemplated and will offer a perspective necessary for the analysis of additive- ‘também’, in particular for the points of intersection that demonstrate the most inherent parts of the functioning of that item. In possession of this perspective and in association with the original proposals of this work a more comprehensive description will be offered than the previous ones without sacrificing the economy of the model.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Classificação não supervisionada para autômato celular elementar do Wolfram(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Souza, Carlos Eduardo de; Bruno, Odemir Martinez; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4796921913434370Cellular Automata are gaining ground in many research areas such as biology, physics and chemistry. But as more parameters are added, it becomes impossible to find features that may be interesting for a particular application. This work has objective by unsupervised machine learning methods like texture descriptors and convolutional autoencoder to determine which Elementary Cellular Automaton rules belong to the classes determined by Wolfram. To do unsupervised learning, histograms were generated with the Local Binary Pattern Variance (LBPV) and the Convolutional Autoencoder, then using the histograms in the K-Means model to analyze whether the model is able to separate the data into four clusters according to the classification proposed by Woflram. In the end, it was observed that both methods did not were able to perform such classification, and the LBPV showed the closest results.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Quantum transistor using superconducting qubits(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Silva, Bruno Augusto Veloso Nunes; Santos, Alan Costa dos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1255357818067868; Villas-Bôas, Celso Jorge; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5700887540085418; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4787167122420489In recent times, quantum computation has become a flourishing field of research with increasing investment due to its promise to revolutionize computing, increasing the speed of information processing to levels far beyond the supercomputers available today. However, implementing these machines is not a simple task and several physical systems are proposed for developing quantum processors. One of the most promising plataforms and focus of this work are the artificial atoms built in superconducting circuits, also known as superconducting qubits (two-level quantum systems). In this master dissertation, we will describe how these superconducting circuits can be used as qubits. We will also apply Hamiltonian engineering techniques to study a system of two superconducting qubits coupled through a superconducting loop. The analysis of this system will allow us to demonstrate that it behaves as a quantum transistor, allowing to coherently transfer quantum information. To optimize the interactions in this system, we use the methods of effective dynamics, which will allow us to find the optimal parameters of the system and will allow us to understand in more detail its physics. Although it is standard to treat artificial atoms as simple qubits, we will show that such a simplification does not completely describe the dynamics of our transistor. It will be necessary to take in consideration the existence of the third energy level, so that the dynamics of the system can be adequately described. Our results reveal the fundamental importance that the most excited levels of superconducting qubits play in its dynamics, even if such states are never populated.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Unidades Taxonômicas Operacionais Moleculares (MOTUs) identificadas dentro do gênero Alouatta Lacèpéde, 1799 (Atelidae, Primates) por abordagens de delimitação de espécies single-gene (mtDNA)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Ávila, Luana Portela Faria e; Freitas, Patrícia Domingues de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5647631868534064; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1352847511610147The howler monkeys or guaribas are Neotropical primates belonging to the genus Alouatta Lacèpéde, 1799 (Atelidae, Primates) that have a wide distribution in the Americas, occurring in the Mesoamerica and South America. Taxonomic reviews point to the existence of five to 14 species in the genus and phylogenetic relationships among them are not yet fully resolved. DNA barcoding, and the associated single-gene species delimitation approaches, have allowed the study of inter and intraspecific genetic diversity and provided data for delimiting Molecular Operational Taxonomic Units (MOTUs). The present study aimed to assess whether the MOTUs recovered within the genus Alouatta are consistent with current taxonomic proposals for howler monkeys in Brazil. Our study included samples from several localities in Brazil of the following taxa: A. pigra, A. palliata (A. p. mexicana, A. p. coibensis, A. p. trabeata, A. p. aequatorialis), A. belzebul (A. b. discolor, A. b. ululata); A. caraya; A. guariba (A. g. clamitans); A. seniculus (A. s. juara, A. s. puruensis, A. sara); A. macconnelli e A. nigerrima. We analyzed two regions of the mitochondrial genome, Cytochrome Oxidase B (Cyt b) and Cytochrome Oxidase subunit I (COI). We analyzed 339 sequences for Cyt bwith 138 of them produced in this study and 201 obtained from GenBank (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genbank/). For COI, we analyzed a total of 98 sequences, among which 82 were generated in this study and 16 were obtained from GenBank. To delimit MOTUs, we analyzed Cyt b and COI data independently by adopting (1) genetic distance-based delimitation approaches (jMOTU and ASAP) using the Kimura 2-parameter model (K2P) and calculating the optimal threshold (OT); and (2) approaches based on coalescence and phylogeny (PTP, bPTP, GMYC). The distance approach pointed to 1.34% and 1.11% as optimal thresholds between intraspecific variation for COI and Cyt b regions, respectively. Our results delimited 12 MOTUs within the genus Alouatta that correspond to taxonomic entities proposed by different systematic reviews, as follows: MOTU-pigra (A. pigra), MOTU-palliata (A. palliata, including all subspecies), MOTU-caraya (A. caraya), MOTU-seniculus 1 (A. sara and A. s. puruensis), MOTU-seniculus 2 (A. seniculus and A. s. juara), MOTU-macconnelli (A. macconnelli), MOTU-nigerrima (A. nigerrima), MOTU-belzebul 1 (A. discolor), MOTU-belzebul 2 (A. belzebul and A. b. ululata), MOTU-guariba 1, MOTU-guariba 2, MOTU-guariba 3. The three MOTUs for the southern-southeastern Atlantic Forest howler monkeys (A. guariba) distinguish those from RJ and MG as MOTU-guariba 1 (A. clamitans 1), those from ES, MG and BA as MOTU-guariba 2 (A. guariba) and those from SC as MOTU-guariba 3 (A. clamitans 2). Specimens from SP showed a paraphyletic arrangement in the three MOTUs, which may indicate the presence of ancestral polymorphism, hybridization, or be interpreted as a possible contact or migration zone that received animals from distinct lineages. Our data identified at least two independent evolutionary lineages for the A. guariba, A. seniculus and A. belzebul complexes, suggesting taxonomic inconsistencies. However, for A. nigerrima the Cyt b analyses recovered this species inside MOTU-macconnelli, the coalescence phylogenetic analyses show a unique and exclusive group with a high support value (PP>0.9). On the other hand, this species has an allopatric distribution, and their traditional taxonomic classification is recognized as valid. Thus, we consider it a distinct MOTU from MOTU-macconnelli, with recent divergence, but emphasize the importance of extending the sampling of this taxon, and performing complementary analyses, including other regions of the genome.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O mercado cervejeiro no Brasil: a análise empreendida pelo Cade no caso InBev e na compra da Brasil Kirin pelo grupo Heineken(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Pessa, Julia de Jesus; Pitelli, Mariusa Momenti; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2810339285129049Mergers and acquisitions have taken place in the beer market as a strategy to secure greater market share. For this and other reasons, this market is highly concentrated in Brazil. Furthermore, this concentration can generate market power, which can open space for abuse of economic power, in which companies are able to harm free competition through anti competitive conducts. Because of this, there is the role of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) in maintaining free competition, being responsible for evaluating mergers and acquisitions, reprimanding anticompetitive conduct and encouraging studies and research on the subject. Therefore, the general objective of this work is to study the process of analysis undertaken by Cade in two horizontal mergers (ACs) in the beer market: AC that originated InBev, Merger Case 08012.002172/2004-22, and the purchase of Brasil Kirin by the Heineken Group, Merger Case 08700.001161/2017-91. In conclusion, Cade used the 2001 and 2016 Guide for Horizontal Merger Review, following the steps provided for therein. Finally, it is observed that Cade continued the analysis in the same way for both cases.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Desenvolvimento de software para engenharia de estruturas: calculadora de flechas imediatas em vigas biapoiadas de concreto armado(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Déo, Pedro Ferrari Galan; Parsekian, Guilherme Aris; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7798651726059215; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8997947856247605Reinforced concrete beams are widely studied by civil engineering students and professionals. As reinforced concrete is one of the most used structural systems in the works carried out, it is essential that the calculations used in its design are accurate, in order to make the most of the materials used in its composition. When subjected to bending, cracks form in the structural element, which causes a reduction in the stiffness of the beam. It is essential to consider this physical nonlinearity of concrete to obtain results close to the real case when calculating the displacement of beams. Methods for calculating this displacement are studied until today, but among them we can highlight two simplified methods, that of Branson (1968), adopted by NBR 6118 (ABNT, 2014), and the method of Bischoff (2005), used by ACI 318 -19 (American Concrete Institute, 2019). Another widely studied method uses finite elements to simulate a reinforced concrete beam. This work sought to create a computational tool, using the Python language, capable of calculating the displacement in beams using all these methods simultaneously, allowing the comparison between the results obtained through graphs and tables.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise de pontos iniciais em métodos de pontos interiores para o problema de pré-despacho(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Mota, Gabriela; Carvalho, Silvia Maria Simões de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8244087426759161; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5256376243247055Due to the complexity of the Brazilian electrical system, it is necessary to apply methods that minimize losses in all generation and transmission stages, including the predispatch of the system. The resolution of these problems using interior point methods is widely used, due to its robustness and speed. The choice of the efficient initial point is of great importance, since it influences the number of iterations and the computational time. In this work, sought to compare the computational time and number of iterations in the resolution of predispatch problem by the primal-dual interior point path-follower method with starting point of Mehrotra and the starting point obtained from the midpoint of the constraints. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the starting point proposed by Mehrotra has an advantage in the amount of iterations, however no advantage was observed in the computational time.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O café e a formação econômica paulista: o caso do município de Araras (1904-1905)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Santilli, João Chinelatto; Silva, Gustavo Pereira da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2439816100723730The present work seeks to analyze the coffee agricultural formation in the state of São Paulo, focusing on the case of Araras in the period between 1886 and 1905. Approaching topics as what is the impact of the coffee complex on the socioeconomic formation of the city of Araras in the beginning of the century XX, the importance the immigration flow in the process of agricultural formation and agricultural transition in the state and how the coffee crises impacted the agricultural distribution of Araras. Through the analysis of data from the Agricultural and Zootechnical Statistics of Araras in the Agricultural year 1904-1905 provided by the Secretary of Agriculture, Commerce and Public Works of the State of São Paulo, it is possible to analyze and make attestation regarding the process of formation of the coffee complex in the state of São Paulo and referring to the case of the municipality of Araras in the period between 1886 and 1905. It is possible to observe that the formation of the coffee production structure attracted the immigrant who at first met the needs of manpower but was also extremely importance in the formation of the urban center, mainly in the supply of supplies for the local population through commercial establishments and with the production of other agricultural products. The results indicate that there was a trend of productive decline of coffee in the city of Araras at the beginning of the 20th century, which is possible to identify through the data analyzed in the agricultural year of 1904-1905, originated among other factors by triggering the crises of coffee overproduction, fall of the international price of coffee and the aging of plantations, this observation is also evidenced by the movement of fragmentation of agricultural land and the transition from monoculture to polyculture, often carried out by new foreign owners.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Desenvolvimento de um modelo para a implantação e avaliação do custeio-meta no processo de desenvolvimento de produtos em empreendimentos públicos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Silva, Luiz Paulo da; Teixeira, José Cardoso; Marques Neto, José da Costa; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2392932422695163; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2855279844650900The construction industry is one of the main sectors of development of the economy and infrastructure of a country, being increasingly competitive and with peculiar characteristics, which directly impact the costs of a public enterprise. Thus, the lack of planning and cost control can make a project unfeasible, or bring losses to the agents involved. The present work aims to propose a model for the implementation of target costing in the product development process in public enterprises. The research was developed in three stages, where the first consists of the contextualization of the theme, through the capture of values through users. The second stage consists of exploring the theme, developing through a case study of a real public project and the third stage consists of the application and validation of the proposed model. As a contribution, the work seeks to deliver a model that relates target costing in the product development stage, thus seeking to reduce production costs and add value to the final product in public sector enterprises. Therefore, it was possible to conclude that with the application of the developed model it is possible to find a cost reduction and add value to the final product, not only for an enterprise, but also to find this result in a scalable way in public enterprises with the same niche of use.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Promoção da saúde mental de crianças e adolescentes: uma ação da terapia ocupacional com educadores sociais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Leal, Maria Silvia Barros; Cid, Maria Fernanda Barboza; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8595043315867424Based on the literature that dialogues and contributes to spaces for promoting children's mental health and that recognizes the power of intersectoral actions to promote mental health in the educational context, as well as the possibilities of occupational therapy in this scenario, the present work reports an experience mental health promotion of children and adolescents with a team of social educators, linked to an after school project in a city in the interior of the state of São Paulo. The report described is a clipping of the university extension activity entitled "Promotion of children's mental health in focus: offering theoretical-practical support with teams that assist children and adolescents in different sectors", offered throughout 2019 by the advisor of this work, and linked to LaFollia - Occupational Therapy and Mental Health Research Laboratory of the Occupational Therapy Department of the Federal University of São Carlos. The organization and systematization of the action carried out was based on the notes of the authors' field diaries and the image records that were produced over the period (February to December 2019). There were 9 monthly meetings, lasting 4 hours per meeting, with 15 members of the team, composed of social educators and pedagogical coordinators of the projects. The initial demand came from the pedagogical coordination of the focus institution to the coordinator of the university extension project, which referred to the request for support from the team of educators in order to equip them to deal with some daily situations related to the mental health of children and teenagers. In the meetings, using dynamics, questions to trigger reflections and strategies for participatory actions with social educators, the group was able to reflect and deal with issues related to their pedagogical practices, self-care, listening, welcoming students and among the team, and handling in situations of violence in the school environment. Social educators pointed out a clear change in the handling of delicate and everyday situations in the institution and with their students, such as the use of more collective strategies with students and prioritizing spaces for listening and welcoming. The educators also noted the need to have more spaces for reflection on daily practices and exchanges between the team, as well as more training opportunities for handling delicate situations with the students. In line with the literature, the action performed and reported here reaffirms the power of the occupational therapist in the school context, and its contributions to the promotion of children's mental health in this scenario.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Controle de formigas cortadeiras com uso de óleos essenciais: uma revisão(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Rassi, Victor Carvalho; Marques, Rodrigo Neves; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8945237946471247In Brazil, reforestation and monoculture practices are strongly impacted by leaf-cutting ants, which cause severe damage while affecting different stages of plant development and are distributed on a large scale. In this way, the use of pesticides occurs mainly with the use of synthetic products, which infer numerous damages to environmental and human health due to the accumulation and high persistence in the environment over time, in addition to selective pressures that potentiate the persistence of pests. . Essential oils are emerging today as an economically profitable method of environmental control and beneficial to the environment, as they have insecticidal and repellent factors in their constitution capable of dealing with the impacts of leaf-cutting ants. Thus, the present work aimed to investigate the use of essential oils as a defensive to the attack of leaf-cutting ants, through a literature review. Throughout its structure, a contextualization about the importance of the research is developed, followed by deepening in the understanding of the ants of the Atta and Acromyrmex genera, with explanations about their way of life and behaviors, determined at the individual and colony level, as well as, plant species that, through their essential oils, infer impacts on the lives of these ants, with explanations about the experiments and results. In addition, other information is presented about essential oils, their performance in the current market, chemical constitution, extraction means and current applications. Finally, in view of the theoretical framework exposed, as final considerations, we understand the lack of information about the chemical constituents that actually interact and act as active principles capable of repelling the pests in question, as well as the lack of information about the specific response. of ants in the face of exposure to oils, expressing results in terms of repellency, toxicity, colony abandonment and antifungal potential on the symbiont fungus, which mutually introduce new perspectives to the field of pesticides and elucidate potential gaps to be investigated.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Um acelerador linear compacto para a produção de radioisótopos de tomografia por emissão de pósitrons (PET): estudos preliminares(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Costa, André Berretta da; Neuenschwander, Regis Terenzi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3985101799853723A compact linear accelerator will be designed for the local production of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) radioisotopes in the forthcoming Brazilian Maximum Biological Containment Laboratory (LNMCB), a biosafety level 4 (BSL-4) laboratory under construction inside the campus of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). The local production is vital to allow the use of short halflife PET radioisotopes, such as 11C (20.4 min), 13N (10 min), 15O (2 min) and 18F (110 min), for the study of highly dangerous pathogens in small animals using a hybrid PET/MR imaging system. The accelerator is under development within the framework of a collaboration agreement with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), which suggests a solution based on an innovative and very compact linear accelerator known as High Frequency Radio-Frequency Quadrupole (HF-RFQ). This solution presents several technological challenges and demands high specialized human resources, which is ideal for a frontier scientific center as CNPEM. This thesis documents part of the first efforts to understand not only theoretical and practical aspects of an HF-RFQ, but also the specific demands of the application for which the accelerator is being designed, the production of short half-life PET radioisotopes. The main routes of production of the desired radioisotopes were identified and their cross-sections curves were analysed in order to decided the most proper bombarding ion and the best output energy range for the accelerator. It was concluded by this preliminary analysis that protons accelerated up to an energy range of around 7 and 8 MeV could properly produce the short half-life PET isotopes 11C, 13N, 15O and 18F. Also, a bibliographic review of all the four existing HF-RFQ projects is presented for the purpose of gathering useful material that will help CNPEM engineers to learn from what other research groups around the world are developing.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A construção do ethos de sujeitos femininos em canções interpretadas por Elis Regina(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Oliveira, Débora Helen de; Pires, Livia Maria Falconi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4769798375720121; Baronas, Roberto Leiser; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4613001301744682; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2312934882502047So as to provoke a reflection on the role of women in society, we turn our eyes to discourses which function meanings on the (re)existence of the genre that is considered as a point to be investigated. Since colonial times, the role of the female gender has been constituted in several points, as in an erotic, inhumane way, or reduced to representations of objects of a certain control and submission, by which men take their control. The system of patriarchy is not away from this symbolic condition, which provoked (and it still provokes) forms of oppression that reflects on bodies, on minds, on listening, on the discourses of these subjects who have become naturalized throughout history, and thus, some attempts of destruction concerning female subjectivities dragged on through an entire historical system. The research aims at understanding and pointing out how female subjects mean themselves in our corpus of analysis, and we focus on relating this corpus to what Maingueneau (2000) names as constituent discourses which would determine certain meanings on what it is to be a woman; and how these meanings are being reflected in the field of Brazilian Popular Music. Our corpus is composed of four songs so that we can outline interpretation gestures in the lyrics, and certain vocal effects which say about the ethos construction of female subjects in songs related to the field of Brazilian Popular Music, by one of its most famous voices, Elis Regina. This research is theoretically based on French Discourse Analysis, under the name of Dominique Maingueneau, as well as the theory of Nelson Costa, when it comes to indicating the field of Brazilian Popular Music as a possible constituent discourse: the Brazilian literary-musical discourse, in which songs by the interpreter Elis Regina are placed, the point at which the inscription of a linguistic functioning as a mobilizer of symbolic production of the meanings that are determined.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Desenvolvimento colaborativo de intervenções em saúde mental para aplicativo (APP Mental) direcionado ao cuidado do profissional de saúde no contexto de pandemia (COVID-19) e situações de desastre(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Antonialli, Karina Toledo da Silva; Barbosa Neto, Jair Borges; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9551566039906499; Barbosa, Larissa Campagna Martini; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8969823407559809; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9869228363805249Mental health is considered a public health issue due to the significant prevalence of mental disorders and social and economic impacts. Disasters and pandemics are related to a worsening of mental distress in the general population and, especially, in health professionals. In these moments, it is necessary to implement actions, quickly and effectively, that can prevent or mitigate the mental distress of these workers. In this context, use of tools, such as mobile applications, can be an alternative. This study aims to analyze the experience of health professionals with the mental health prevention and promotion interventions offered by APP Mental, which will contribute to the collaborative development of the app. For this, method, divided into two stages, is proposed: creation of the interventions by a multidisciplinary team and evaluation of this product by users. In the first stage, the multidisciplinary group created a script to guide the development and this team produced thirty-two interventions, in eight thematic areas, which were validated by a committee of experts. This material was adapted to web language and revised for language adaptations before being integrated into the application. In the second stage, health professionals used the Mental APP for twelve weeks, during which they evaluated the interventions with scores from one to five and comments. After this period, they were invited to participate in a focus group to share their experience with the APP Mental. From this meeting and the researchers' impressions, a report was created. This document was validated by the focus group participants. These data were categorized and used for thematic analysis, which resulted in two thematic groupings: 1) the care of yourself and the other, and 2) tool qualification. In the first, we find an intensification of mental distress during the pandemic, the need for embracement, for contact between workers and legitimization of the work process centered on a care technical model based on soft technologies. In the second, for APP Mental users, this mobile application has the potential to promote health care and they suggested some improvements to attract more users, maintain motivation and engagement through the expansion of thematic areas, notification mechanisms and customization. The conclusion is that there is a need for more studies that address digital health, and the data presented in this study contribute to this discussion, highlighting the possibility of using digital technologies as a care strategy linked to the health policies of health workers.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Percurso de escrita de um artigo científico com o suporte de recursos digitais de Inglês para Propósitos Acadêmicos: uma autorreflexão à luz de teorias de autonomia(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Silva, Lucas José Alves da; Augusto-Navarro, Eliane Hercules; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5716027350340906The present study aims to analyze, in the light of Autonomy theories, the trajectory of writing a scientific paper with the support of a digital course focused on English for Academic Purposes. Having greater knowledge about the factors that influence an older adult to obtain good adherence and positive satisfaction to an intervention facilitates the formulation of specific strategies for older adults at risk of falls. Objective: To verify the adherence and satisfaction to a multifactorial intervention based on case management in community-dwelling older people and related sociodemographic and clinical factors. Methods: This is a single center, randomized, parallel group controlled clinical trial. Community-dwelling older people and with a history of at least two falls in the last year were distributed in two groups. The Intervention Group underwent a case management involving multidimensional evaluation, explanation of the risk factors for falls identified, implementation of an intervention proposal based on the identified risks, elaboration of an individualized falls intervention plan, implementation, monitoring and review of the intervention plan. The Control Group was accompanied by a monthly phone call. All volunteers were initially evaluated in relation to sociodemographic data, general health, physical functions and mental functions. After 16 weeks, the volunteers answered two closed questionnaires about adherence or non-adherence to intervention (Intervention Group) and satisfaction with intervention (both groups). In addition, frequency of intervention, adhesion to each recommendation of the case management and satisfaction with general care were evaluated. Results: The final sample consisted of 62 older people. There was good adherence to intervention based on case management, as well as good adhesion to recommendations. In addition, the satisfaction of both groups was positive, although the Intervention Group had better score. There was influence of monthly income, general health assessment, years of schooling and mobility on adherence to intervention (Intervention Group). In addition, there was influence of number of falls on satisfaction with monitoring conducted in the Control Group. Conclusions: We conclude that clinical and sociodemographic factors can influence adherence and satisfaction of faller older people to a falls prevention program.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Extração de dados e análise de sentimento: com diferentes dicionários léxicos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) Castro Neto, Carlos Pereira de; Ferri, Fabio Aparecido; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8314629367795792Social networks are becoming more and more a showcase for people's opinions and feelings. Elections around the world were greatly influenced by them, worth noting the impact on the US elections of 2016, when the current president Donald Trump was elected, and on the Brazilian elections of 2018, when the current president Jair Messias Bolsonaro was elected. With the evolution of concepts and tools associated with data processing and storage, large volumes and varieties of data can be analyzed in order to find some value for them. Several areas that use Artificial Intelligence and other strategies are emerging, with the objective of joining the opportunity of great material for analysis and an extensive range of tools for such, such as natural language processing. A specific branch of this area is sentiment analysis, which provides us with part or some consideration of texts. Aiming to know this process and make material available, a sentiment analysis was carried out on the tweets during and after the interview with presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on CNN Brasil, on September 13, 2022. The analyzes did not generate considerations of great relevance to the fact, but to the understanding of how the area of Sentiment Analysis is complex and has room for improvement.
