listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Efeitos do treinamento esportivo periodizados sobre as variáveis antropométricas, capacidades físicas, hemodinâmicas e a Pressão Intracraniana (PIC) de atletas profissionais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-31) Teixeira, Jeferson Américo Ancelmo; Duarte, Ana Cláudia Garcia de Oliveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1996950253264696; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8806892353088352Periodization in sports training is always questioned, as well as the effects on the individual on the physical aspects represented by anthropometric and hemodynamic capabilities. In particular, the behavior of intracranial pressure has been shown to be a vital new variable for brain functioning and still little elucidated in the field of training. Thus, the present study aimed to evaluate the effects of a periodization of physical training with professional athletes in the modalities of men's soccer, futsal and women's volleyball during 10 weeks in three stages pre-season (v0), after 5 weeks (v1) and after 10 weeks (v2). For this, anthropometric, hemodynamic and physical tests were performed. As for the anthropometric variables, BMI and %F, the three modalities had an evolution, that is, a reduction in the values, in the scope of the physical capacities there was also a significant improvement over the 10 weeks highlighting the increase in VO2max., increase in potency of the vertical jump and reduction in the time of the agility test. As for the hemodynamic variables, in addition to the reduction in BP, it was possible to verify a reduction in the values of ICP and HRV, with a relationship of greater action of the parasympathetic system in relation to the sympathetic one. Therefore, we conclude that the effect of periodization was positive for the 3 modalities, in addition to promoting a change in ICP pressure values and actions of sympathetic and parasympathetic activities.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Uma análise comparativa das construções com verbos psicológicos do português brasileiro e europeu(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-31) Coelho, Francimeire Leme; Vale, Oto Araújo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2277403284693571; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8823805247335743Psychological verbs (such as shake, afflict, and thrill) denote a feeling or emotional state in the experiencer, the experiencer being necessarily human. This research describes the phenomenon of constructions with psychological verbs in Portuguese and presents a contrastive analysis of studies on the classification of these constructions carried out for Brazilian Portuguese (CANÇADO, 1995; CANÇADO et al., 2017[2013]) and European Portuguese (MACEDO OLIVEIRA, 1984; MENDES, 2004; BAPTISTA AND MAMEDE, 2020). Thus, it will be possible to identify the points of intersection and divergence between these two variants of the Portuguese language. For this, the theoretical-methodological model used is the Lexicon Grammar (GROSS, 1975), which establishes principles of description and systematic classification of the predicative elements of languages, based on Distributionalism and Transformational Theory of Zellig Harris (1961; 1964). From the data described here, it is expected to contribute to the linguistic description of the phenomenon of constructions with psychological verbs, as well as to the development of linguistic resources that can be used in different didactic applications and in Natural Language Processing (NLP).listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, As vozes das mulheres da EJA: um olhar voltado para a inserção no ensino superior(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-31) Rocha, Brenda Generoso de Lima; Braga, Fabiana Marini; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1103496815216263; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2280806022154282This master's research aimed to analyze the narratives of three women who graduated from EJA (Portuguese acronym for Youth and Adult Education) and what were the transforming elements and the excluding elements that influenced the insertion of these women in higher education, having Dialogical Learning (1997) as a theoretical-methodological foundation, based on some central authors such as Flecha (1997); Freire (1985; 1997; 2005; 2009; 2011; 2014), following the dual perspective described by Giddens (1991; 1996; 2003). This is a qualitative field research based on twelve narratives of three women who graduated from EJA, who have already concluded higher education in Pedagogy in Brazilian federal public institutions. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the narratives were virtually collected based on the Life Stories methodology guidelines (JOSSO, 2004) and analyzed based on the contributions of the Communicative Methodology (GÓMEZ et al, 2006). The narratives present excluding elements and transforming elements, both in the school trajectory and in the social environment of the three women with regard to influences in the their journey towards a higher education degree. As excluding elements, the data revealed the denial of the right of access to and permanence in school spaces, the presence of male chauvinism as a consequence of men's domination over women and the female role in the patriarchal and capitalist society in which we live. As transforming elements, the data put in evidence the instrumental dimensions, such as a gain in autonomy and critical thinking, highlighting the role of the progressive teacher (FREIRE, 2009), in addition to solidary relationships in building support networks for women. It is expected that those discussions contribute towards the role of this progressive teacher and solidary relationships in the fight against male chauvinism and ageism, helping with new public policies for this modality of education, which is marked by a historical context of exclusion and a current situation that still needs transforming instruments so that new EJA graduates are also included in the university environment, as a right.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Influência transgeracional do enriquecimento ambiental nos aspectos fenotípicos e epigenéticos em fêmeas de Mus musculus da linhagem LG/J(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-31) Machado Junior, Edgar de Lima; Peripato, Andréa Cristina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0657713343451089; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0366922637790709Currently, widely used in zoos and aquariums, in addition to being adopted in vivariums, environmental enrichment aims to allow the captive animal to express its species-specific behavior, improving its quality of life. Maternal care is intrinsic to emotionality, as a female to satisfactorily care for her offspring needs to be in excellent physical and emotional condition. When we think about mammals, it is known that maternal care has complex genetic bases and is susceptible to interference from environmental factors. Result of the individual-environment interaction, epigenetics comprises molecular changes in DNA and histone proteins, which are likely to be inherited, do not modify the DNA sequence and may undergo reversibility. This study aimed to verify the influence of environmental enrichment in a transgenerational way in females of Mus musculus LG/J on aspects of emotionality and maternal care. The females studied were divided into four groups and had never been exposed to environmental enrichment, namely: female daughters of mothers who were exposed to environmental enrichment from the pubertal to maternal stage, female daughters of mothers who were never exposed to environmental enrichment, female daughters from mothers who were submitted to environmental enrichment in the maternal phase and females daughters of mothers who were exposed to environmental enrichment only in the maternal phase. Emotionality was analyzed using open field, elevated plus maze and forced swimming tests. Maternal care was analyzed by the mother's postures in building a nest, performing placentophagy, offering milk to the young, having aggressive behavior against intruders and maintaining the size of the born litter. The results showed that phenotypically, the influences of environmental enrichment on emotionality and maternal care were not inherited, with females from non-enriched mothers having greater reproductive success and a lower rate of anxiety. The study showed that in this case, environmental enrichment must be applied continuously, so if a generation has been enriched, the offspring cannot be deprived of such a mechanism that aims to improve animal welfare.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Quem eles devem ser, quem eles querem ser e quem eles são: Os deslocamentos das identidades nacionais em Enquanto os dentes (2017) e Todos nós adorávamos caubóis (2013)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-31) Trimer, Beatriz Passos; Frighetto, Gisele Novaes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1475461301665423; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7724661171245779This master's dissertation starts from the cross-analysis between the epistemology of political and difference theory and classifies nationalism (ANDERSON, 2008; HOBSBAWM, 1990) as a phenomenon that implies the crisis of non-hegemonic identities (DUBAR, 2009; APPIAH, 2018). It selected homoaffetivity as one of these excluded identities and conceptualizes the crisis of these identities in the face of the novels Enquanto os dentes (2017), Carlos Eduardo Pereira's, and Todos nós adorávamos caubóis (2013), Carol Bensimon's. Split into two theoretical and one analytical chapter, this dissertation begins with the conceptualization of nationalism and the construction of national states (ANDERSON, 2008; HOBSBAWM, 1990; HALL, 2006; CANCLINI, 2015). Following those principles, it was applied to the Brazillian reality in the face of its consolidation as a national state, with their reflections in the literature (SANTIAGO, 2019 a, 2019 b; CANDIDO, 2006, 2000; SCHWARZ, 2014, 1987; SUSSEKIND, 2005; DALCASTAGNÈ, 2002). In chapter two, this dissertation approaches the constructions of the epistemology of differences (CONNEL, 2012, 2020; HALL, 2017) and the underpinnings of what are considered conflicting identity crises (APPIAH, 2018; HALL, 2014). At the end of the theoretical analysis, it is possible to understand the conceptions of power and the places that homoafetive identities occupy (BUTLER e SPIVAK, 2020; BUTLER, 2017). After finalizing the punctuation of the conditions of homoafetive literature in the contemporary Brazilian scenario (POLESSO, 2018; DALCASTAGNÈ, 2012), under which it is argued that identity constitutions depart from moralistic demands of the social body and the intellectuality, intercedes in the analysis of the objects. In this sense, it was established that other discursive devices question the literary canon and reflect the place that homo-affective people occupy in Brazilian society. From this, the dissertation concludes that the identities of the protagonists Antônio, Cora, and Julia, are the results of this exploration and lie alongside the homogenizing and discriminatory character of the ideological rhetoric that structures the Brazilian nation-states. That is, this work demonstrates how the state apparatuses and their segregative ideologies are oriented towards domination and normalization of homo-affective bodies.
