Abstract

This work describes a scientometric study and a bibliographic survey on the supplementation of fish feeding aimed at fish farming. Supplementation is based on the use of animal, vegetable and yeasts, and focuses on the use of Chironomidae larvae. For this study, bibliometric indicators were selected, which are classified into quantitative and impact. The main works that carried out research with supplementation in fish feeding were selected, aiming to identify the points already studied and the points that still need to be explored. With this study, it will be possible to enrich fish farming practices at the local, regional and global levels, promoting cost reduction and increased sustainability, seeking alternatives for the nutritional enrichment of the feed used. However, it was found that the use of natural protein sources can improve performance in the development of fish, however, it is necessary to carry out more studies in this area
