The training of healthcare professionals plays a strategic role in the implementation and consolidation of the Unified Health System (Sistema Único de Saúde - SUS), with the development of capabilities being crucial to prepare them to face the challenges arising from social transformations, in alignment with real and dynamic healthcare work contexts, the job market, and professional practice conditions. Among these formative processes, in the field of mental health, multiprofessional residencies have a transformative potential for practices, aligned with Health and Psychiatric Reforms, as well as Permanent Health Education. Therefore, this study aimed to understand the state of the art of Multiprofessional Residency Programs in Mental Health in Brazil. It was an exploratory and descriptive research with a qualitative and quantitative approach, involving field and documentary research. Data sources included admission selection notices for 2022 and Pedagogical Political Projects of active Multiprofessional and/or Integrated Residency Programs in Mental Health in Brazil for 2021 and/or 2022. Data analysis utilized the ATLAS.ti software and thematic analysis. The study presents two relevant technical products for professionals in training and for those responsible for the management and coordination of Mental Health Residency Programs in Brazil. They are: the "Mapping Report of Mental Health Residency Programs in Brazil up to 2022" and the "Consolidated Competency Profile of the Mental Health Professional". To achieve this, the research mapped and characterized 51 active Multiprofessional Residency Programs in Mental Health across the entire Brazilian territory, identifying their geographical distribution, professional composition, and training scenarios. Additionally, this analysis was enriched by investigating 19 Pedagogical Political Projects. From these, key actions were identified and distributed in three competency areas: Health Care, Health Management, and Health Education to consolidate the competency profile of mental health professionals in training in Brazil. The study addresses the complexity of the Mental Health field and the comprehensiveness of care. It discusses the competency profile of professionals delineated at the national level and aligned with public policies related to healthcare residencies and mental health. It emphasizes the interprofessional, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral training of mental health professionals to enhance the quality of mental healthcare, aligned with the psychosocial paradigm and integrated with mental health public policies. This study aims to contribute to the updating and strengthening of active Multiprofessional Residency Programs in Mental Health in Brazil. Additionally, it seeks to provide support for the development of new training initiatives in the field, enhancing the teaching and learning process in mental health for human resources allocated to SUS.

The development of this Undergraduate Thesis (TCC) reflects the journey of a Biology Teacher in the Public Basic Education system of the State of São Paulo, who simultaneously enrolled as a student in the Medicine Program at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). This TCC narrates the construction of a medical professional over the six years of undergraduate education, highlighting the reflections and learnings that emerged along this path. Growing up in the outskirts of Diadema, he always had the dream of pursuing Medicine. However, as there were no references in the family with a college degree, he was discouraged due to the social context in which he found himself. With the move to Hortolândia and work at the Brazilian Company of Post and Telegraph in Campinas, a new hope arose with the arrival of the preparatory course from the UNICAMP Student Directory (DCE) and the beginning of undergraduate program in Biological Sciences at UNESP Rio Claro Campus. The experience as a teacher in the State of São Paulo Basic Education system, enrollment and withdrawal from two postgraduate programs, as well as an encouraging Wife, led to the enrollment in the Medicine Program at UFSCar, once again breaking old paradigms and creating new ones in the face of society, the community, and family.

Since the psychiatric reform, research has been developed to study the challenges of providing mental health care in a territorial context and within primary health care, as well as the new ways in which this care can be implemented. However, beyond mapping these practices, it is necessary to promote spaces for dialogue among workers so that they can be realized, as well as to understand the challenges encountered in this implementation. In this regard, this qualitative and participatory exploratory research sought to understand the mental health care provided in Primary Health Care in the city of Votorantim located in the state of São Paulo in Brazil from the perspective of the municipality's health professionals, specifically sensitizing these professionals to new mental health care offerings. To this end, data collection was carried out through a semi-structured script and individual interviews with professionals interested in the topic in four basic health units of the municipality, with this information subsequently analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results pointed to several practices that are carried out in the municipality, but are often not named or valued as mental health care, such as reception and guidance for good health. However, the lack of recognition also seems to be related to several challenges in implementing this care, such as lack of training, lack of professionals, and the difficulty of understanding on the part of management regarding this care. Therefore, based on these results, an educational material was developed that is expected to be an important contribution to the implementation of mental health care in the Primary Care of the Municipality through the strengthening of teams, as well as to contribute to future studies in permanent health education, considering that all mental health care should start at this level of care.

The positive experience of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum is an important perinatal outcome recognized by the World Health Organization, influenced by beliefs, expectations and recibed care. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased vulnerabilities for perinatal care in Brazil and intensified the challenges thar were faced. The objective of this work is to elucidate the perception of women regarding the assistance received in perinatal period, in context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The participants were recruited through an invitation on the social media of the larger projects of which this work is part, “Nascer e COVID” and “Grupo de apoio a gestação, parto, amamentação e maternagem saudáveis”. Data were obtained through semi-structured individual interviews, on an online platform, and narrative analysis used Bardin's Content Analysis methodology. Three thematic categories emerged from the results: “Autonomy support”; “Negatives to autnomy” and “Social support: sharing and acceptance”. The results suggest that throughout perinatal care, women develop a project for pregnancy, labor and birth through the development of autonomy and value assistance centered on their needs. At the same time, they encounter professionals who offer denials and restrict their autonomy, making them feel fragile and dissatisfied with the care. In view of this, they seek complementary care guided by the construction of autonomy and experience of their project. The support network, mainly made up of marital partners and groups of pregnant women, offers sharing and support in times of adversity. The need of developing and practice autonomy to reach and live positive experiences was evidenced.

In Brazil, Long-Term Care Facilities (LTCFs) for the elderly stand out in offering long-term care in the institutional comprehensive collective care model. In this context, managers and qualified professionals are expected to understand the typology and services attributed to these spaces. Objective: To analyze the perception of managers of long-term care facilities for the elderly (LTCFs) regarding the reason for searching for vacancies in these spaces. Methodology: Descriptive-exploratory research of a qualitative and quantitative nature carried out in the city of Araraquara, São Paulo state. The study was divided into 2 stages: 1-Bibliographic review; 2- Online interviews with institution managers. The bibliographic review was systematized using the StArt software. Data collection in the second stage took place through a semi-structured questionnaire on the Google forms platform according to the facilities, the manager's profile, and their perspective on the search for vacancies in the ILPI. Data analysis is based on simple and descriptive statistics observing the frequency and average of the data. Content analysis was done through ordering the material, floating readings, and grouping them into categories based on the frequency of the theme transmitted by managers. All ethical principles in research will be applied. Results: 432 articles were identified, 420 of which were excluded for not being part of the subject and 12 articles that related to the research through the central themes. There were 2 articles on the topic of organizational culture, 4 articles on transformational leadership, 4 articles on perceptions about elderly care and 2 articles on institutional improvements. In relation to institutions in the Municipality of Araraquara in São Paulo State, only 8 of the 17 managers filled out the online form. Regarding the institutions, all were non-governmental, with 7 (87.5%) for-profit and 1 (12.5%) non-profit of the philanthropic type. Most managers are female (37.5%), with an average age of 52.25 years and married status. Managers' perceptions about the reasons that lead to the search for vacancies in institutions stood out in the social (11) and health (8) dimensions. In the social dimension, the predominant category was “Fragility of the family caregiver”, with subcategories such as “Fragility in guidance on care”, “Avoiding social exclusion” and “Absence of caregiver”. Conclusion: According to the managers' perception, there are weaknesses in the care process provided by the informal caregiver. Weaknesses are observed in the training of managers and in the systematization of a database on information on elderly people and family members.

Research into alternative methods for estimating wood properties has gained prominence due to the difficulties inherent in this process. Such difficulties include the lack of laboratories and specialized equipment necessary for the complete characterization of wood. Therefore, this study aims to develop equations using regression models, to estimate fifteen physical and mechanical properties by Brazilian standards for wooden structures. To accomplish this purpose, experimental data relating to the physical, and mechanical properties and colorimetric parameters of ten new species of tropical wood were used. Initially, the physical and mechanical properties and colorimetric parameters of these species were obtained and subjected to statistical analysis. Additionally, data from ten species resulting from related and previous research were also incorporated into the analysis. Linear and quadratic equations were obtained using regression models, considering colorimetric parameters and apparent density as independent variables. The independence of these variables was evaluated using the Pearson correlation test. Initially, the models were built with experimental data from just fifteen species. Subsequently, after validating these results, the same equations were generated considering experimental data from all species. In all models, the significance of the equations and their terms was assessed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The adequacy of the models obtained was evaluated by the adjusted coefficient of determination, and in the validation phase, the percentage error obtained was investigated. The results indicated that the developed equations are statistically significant and present satisfactory adjustments for most estimated properties. Furthermore, apparent density proved to be the most influential parameter in these models, although colorimetric parameters have considerable significance.

Gluconic acid occurs naturally in a wide variety of foods, including fruit, honey, wine, rice, meat and other naturally fermented products. Because of its versatility and biodegradability, it has many applications in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and detergent industries. Although fermentation has been used for several decades, there are still drawbacks and challenges associated with the process. Fermentation processes often result in lower yields than chemical synthesis methods and require specific nutrients for the growth and metabolic activity of microorganisms. In addition, gluconic acid produced by fermentation can produce by-products, including other acids and organic compounds, which must be removed in the product purification stage, increasing the overall cost and complexity of the process. As an alternative to the fermentation processes, gluconic acid can be produced by whole-cell biocatalysis. Whole-cell biocatalysis uses intact microbial cells to perform specific chemical transformations or produce desired compounds. This approach differs from fermentation because microbial cells are used as biocatalysts under non-growth conditions. This study began with a literature review aimed at identifying and analyzing previous studies on the production of gluconic acid by whole-cell biocatalysis, as well as the microorganisms, substrates, and enzymes involved in this process. This review enabled the selection of starch, one of the most abundant natural polysaccharides, to produce gluconic acid. In the present study, an innovative single-step multi-enzymatic system for gluconic acid production from starch using whole-cells of Aspergillus niger associated with amylolytic enzymes was proposed. High yields of gluconic acid with high product purity were obtained, e.g., a gluconic acid concentration of 134.5 ± 4.3 g/L, a gluconic acid yield of 98.2 ± 1.3%, a biocatalyst yield of 44.8 ± 1.4 ggluconic acid/gwhole-cells and a product purity (~96%) were achieved during a 96 h reaction. Although the process was developed using starch as the raw material, the approach has the potential to be applied to other substrates or residues that can be hydrolyzed to glucose. Therefore, the proposed multienzyme system opens new perspectives for gluconic acid production by whole-cell biocatalysis.

The modifications to natural environments not only affect the landscape structure but also impact pollinators, pollination, and plant-pollinator interactions. The maintenance and conservation of pollination and these interactions influence social and economic sustainability goals, given the impact of pollination on other species that mediate relevant ecological processes such as climate regulation, seed dispersal, nutrient cycling, among others. Therefore, the objective of this study is to provide a synthesis of the impact of landscape structure on the ecosystem service of pollination through a systematic literature review covering the period from 2011 to 2021. Despite recent empirical information on the subject, it is not systematically organized, making it necessary to synthesize the available knowledge in recent years. To conduct the systematic literature review, three fundamental stages were carried out: planning, implementation, and documentation. Clarivate Analytics' Web of Science and SciVerse Scopus databases were used for the selection of published studies. Search terms were defined using the boolean operator AND, as well as keywords such as Pollinator, Landscape, and Pollination. A total of 2,531 studies, written in English and Portuguese, were analyzed. Among these, 576 articles were selected based on their titles. After reading the abstracts, 342 articles remained to be read in full. Of these, 55 were excluded as review articles, modeling studies, meta-analyses, or for not meeting the criteria of this systematic review. The results obtained showed that resource availability and coverage of natural areas had a positive effect on bee diversity. On the other hand, areas near agricultural or urban coverage showed a greater negative impact on bee diversity. These findings support the hypothesis that modifications to the landscape structure affect the diversity of pollinator species. The obtained results will provide a deeper understanding of the topic, assisting in identifying specific landscape characteristics that can impact pollinator species. This, in turn, will help in making better-informed decisions and prioritizing conservation actions based on the particularities of each region or species.

This research, qualitative with a case study methodological approach, sought, through semi-structured interviews, to identify the difficulties in the teaching practices of three educators and one educator who taught in Youth and Adult Education (EJA) in relation to the use of Digital Technology Information and Communication (TDIC). Based on this problem, the research question was developed: How do educators from a medium-sized city in the interior of the state of São Paulo of Terms I and II (Elementary Education I) of EJA work on literacy with the use of digital technologies? during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021? We defined as a general objective: Analyze the perceptions and results of educators in a medium-sized city in the interior of the state of São Paulo of Terms I and II of Youth and Adult Education, during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, in the period from 2020 to 2021, in relation to the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies. In order to represent the general objective, we present the following specific objectives: a) Know the perceptions and evaluate educators who worked during the Covid-19 pandemic in Youth and Adult Education with Terms I and II in a medium-sized city from the interior of the state of São Paulo; b) identify which TDIC were used by educators for literacy in EJA in 2020 and 2021; c) Verify the possible difficulties faced and lessons learned by educators from Terms I and II of EJA, during the use of digital technological resources and present successful experiences. We summarize the researcher's direct relationship with EJA, highlighting the reasons why we chose the topic and its challenging context. The theoretical framework comprises productions that relate to the field of EJA, the topic of research: Paulo Freire (1979; 1984; 1987; 1989; 1996; 1997); Di Pierro (2005; 2010); Di Pierro, Haddad, (2015); Haddad (1991); Haddad, Di Pierro (2000); Oliveira (1995; 1999); Paiva (2003). In the field of teacher training at EJA, we are based on Arroyo (2006); Soares, Pedroso (2016). In relation to teacher training for teaching knowledge: Tardif (2014). For teacher training and the use of technologies: Charlot (2013). With regard to training focused on literacy and literacy: Cagliari (1999); Carvalho (2009); Monteiro (2010); Soares (2002; 2018). In the field of ICT/TDIC, authors such as Belloni (2009; 2012); Bruno, Pesce (2012); Buzato (2006; 2009); Kenski (2007); Mill (2018); Mill, Jorge (2013) and theoretical-conceptual elements of the work of Álvaro Vieira Pinto (2005). Regarding public policies in the educational field: Saviani (1985; 1994; 2005; 2013; 2020). Thus, despite the challenges faced during the pandemic context, research educators systematically sought to enhance the use of TDIC, highlighting the need for continued teacher training, review of the municipal staff to ensure a pedagogical coordinator at EJA and adequacy of infrastructure in the schools where the educators worked.

The field of bankruptcy and insolvency is an area that is still in development, with many studies proposing new bankruptcy prediction models to bring greater accuracy to financing decisionmaking for banks and investment for shareholders. This research addresses the topic of bankruptcy and judicial recovery, and it is structured in the different articles. The first is a systematic literature review article, in which we sought to identify the evolution of the research field and its state of the art, as well as identify, through qualitative analysis, the types of models and explanatory variables most used in bankruptcy prediction. The main results in this article were that the most commonly used model for bankruptcy prediction in the analyzed studies was Altman's Z-Score; the most used variables are profitability, liquidity, and debt ratio; and the most common types of models were logistic regression and multivariate discriminant analysis. The research continues with the second article, which is a quantitative study applying Z-Score models to Brazilian samples, aiming to analyze both the models' performance and the variables. For this article, it was found that the Altman models did not perform as well in the selected sample as they did in the sample for which they were developed, achieving a 10% Type I error and a 33% Type II error for the Revised Z-Score model, and a 52% Type I error and a 3% Type II error for the Emerging Markets model. However, based on the results of the F-tests applied to the Z-Score models' variables, they have significant discriminant abilities for the bankruptcy and judicial recovery event. The third and final article is the development of an emergency or judicial recovery prediction model, which, unlike most existing studies in the field, does not aim to identify when a company will become insolvent or bankrupt, but rather to identify among those in this state which are capable of recovering. In this work, the proposed model achieved an AUC of 95.74, a 17% Type I error, and a 4% Type II error. For practical purposes, this research provides relevant information for decision-making by managers and investors, not only for bankruptcy but also for corporate recovery and emergence, and identifies significant variables for this event.

This thesis details the synthesis, characterization and evaluation of antitumor activity of twelve monocationic PdII/phosphine complexes featuring ligands derived from products natural. The complexes were categorized in three Series: Series A; complexes with the general formula [Pd(cur)(P-P)]PF6, where cur=curcumin, PF6=hexafluorophosphate and P-P= PPh3=triphenylphosphine (A1), dppe=1,2-bis(diphenylphosphine)ethane (A2), dppp= 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphine)propane (A3), dppb=1,4'-bis(diphenylphosphine)butane (A4) and dppf=1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphine)ferrocene (A5); Series B, complexes with the general formula [Pd(dppe)(O-O)]PF6, where O-O= lau=lausone (B1), lap=lapachol (B2), lpm=3-styryl-lausone (B3) and ali=alizarin (B4); Series C, complexes of the type [Pd(P-P)(lap)]PF6, where P-P= dppp (C1), dppb (C2) and dppf (C3). Their characterization involves elemental analysis, molar conductivity, absorption spectroscopy in the infrared region, 1D and 2D nuclear magnetic resonance (31P{1H}, 1H and 13C{1H}), mass spectrometry and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Stability assessment in biological relevant solvents, using UV-vis absorption spectroscopy, revealed instability on Series A, due to the self-oxidation of curcumin, as previously reported, while the Series B and C complexes were stable. The antitumor activity was evaluated in variety of cell lines, such as breast (MDA-MB-237, MCF-7 and SKBR-3), lung (A549), prostate (DU-145), ovarian (A2780 and A2780cis) and non-tumor cells of the breast (MCF-10A) and lung (MRC-5), varying the number of lines in each Series. Series A complexes showed low IC50 in several of the tumor lines tested, including some cell lines which the activity is superior to curcumin and cisplatin. The [Pd(cur)(PPh3)2]PF6 stands out in tumor lines MDA-MB-231 (5,0 ± 0,2 M), A2780 (0,5 ± 0,1 M) and A2780cis (1,4 ± 0,4 M) than the other complexes in the series, with the highest selectivity index displayed for the A2780 lineage (≥40). Series B systematically demonstrates the effects of naphthoquinones and anthraquinone coordination to Pd on IC50 values, highlighting the lapachol complex (B2) as the most active in of tumor cells tested, especially for A2780 (IC50 3.5 ± 0,1 µM, SI ≥ 11.4). In series C, C3 complex stands out presenting IC50 1.1 ± 0.2 M and SI ≥ 36.4 in A2780cis. In general, complexes A1, B2 and C3 were able to inhibit colony formation and induce morphological changes in tumor lines. Furthermore, the A1, B2, and C3 complexes promoted a cycle cell arrest in the Sub-G1 phase, which represents the fraction of dead cells with fragmented DNA. The flow cytometry assay with Annexin-V and 7-AAD showed that the complexes induce cell death by apoptosis. The complexes demonstrated weak and reversible interactions with the minor groove of DNA, without affecting its secondary and tertiary structures. Interaction assays with HSA were performed, revealing moderate to strong interactions with the complexes. The possible mechanism of death for the complexes is by inducing the formation of ROS in cells, as demonstrated for the A1 complex in A2780cis cells.

While the scientific literature on blockchain applications in supply chain management is vast, it is short of empirical evidence due to the novelty of the technology and the inherent complexity of implementing such systems. In situations where empirical evidence is lacking or difficult to gather, modeling and simulation serve as effective tools for capturing the complexities of supply chain networks. This allows for a thorough examination and understanding of these systems, facilitating informed and consistent decision-making. Consequently, potential advantages and risks can be identified prior to their implementation in the real world. However, guidelines to assist scholars and practitioners in creating realistic hybrid simulation models in this context are missing in the literature, which brings great complexity to the modeling process. Thus, the main objective of this work is to propose and test a framework to support the modeling and simulation of supply chain traceability considering blockchain technology. The framework comprises a step-by-step guide that embraces the phases of model design, model development, and output evaluation. In addition, to enhance understanding and adoption, this research incorporates concepts and terminologies from existing and well-established frameworks for both practitioners and scholars, namely SCOR, GTS, and ADACOR. Furthermore, it employs a hybrid modeling approach that combines principles and methods from agent-based modeling and discrete-event simulation paradigms. To accomplish this objective, this work is deployed in three parts. First, to deal with a large publication rate of works related to blockchain in supply chain management, a review of reviews is developed, which is a tertiary study that gathers evidence from literature reviews. Secondly, following the Design Science Research approach, a novel methodological framework is proposed to help build hybrid simulation models of different levels of granularity. Finally, to demonstrate its potential, the proposed methodological framework is applied to a real-scale industrial case in Canada, comprising a live lobster supply chain to identify the potential impacts of a blockchain-based traceability system on the physical supply chain network structure through the lens of network theory, considering single and multi-level supplier evaluation.

SBRT is especially developed for micro and small companies – MPEs, legally constituted, and that demanded technical solutions. Its objective is to facilitate rapid access to low-complexity technological solutions in specific areas, in addition to promoting the dissemination of knowledge and contributing to the technology transfer process, especially for smaller companies (RAMOS et al., 2006). To meet the objectives set, the SBRT was created as a network made up of nine technical response agents, with “specialists from institutions with recognized performance in innovation and technology, which prepare quick answers to the most diverse technical questions free of charge” (SBRT, 2023). One of the executing agents of this network is the Integrated System of Technical Responses, linked to the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (SIRT/UNESP), the object of study on this research. The SIRT has not yet been the subject of more in-depth investigation. Therefore, this can be treated as a justification for carrying out this research, which was guided by the following question: what are the institutional and operational characteristics of the SIRT and its historical contributions as an agent of technical responses to the SBRT? The main objective of the research is to evaluate the impacts of SIRT as a manager of knowledge and low-complexity innovations in the period between 2010 and 2023. To achieve this objective, the research covered the following specific objectives: i) map and record the historical evolution and structural (agents) and operational (products) changes in SIRT; ii) analyze local impacts regarding the university-governmentbusiness relationship and iii) characterize the results generated in knowledge management for SBRT. To achieve the proposed objectives, a qualitative approach was chosen from a historical, exploratory and descriptive perspective, framed as a single case study, adopting documentary research as the main data collection instrument. For data processing, document analysis was defined. Regarding the results, focused on the trajectory, institutional role and contemporary challenges of the SIRT, it was found that it presented positive results, fulfilling the objectives initially outlined in terms of knowledge management. Furthermore, among the positive results it is important to consider the intense development of the university tripod of teaching, research and extension, developed over the years of SIRT operation. In addition to this, it is also necessary to consider the contribution of SIRT to the effectiveness of the triple helix in the joint action of UNESP, the State, municipal entities and MSEs. It is also necessary to emphasize that data control, document gaps, the lack of situational analysis and the absence of indicators are weak points in the operationalization of the service and that deserve attention not only from the SIRT, but also from the SBRT Network. Furthermore, for effective intellectual, social and economic development to be possible, effective support from the State is essential. This is because, as presented in this research, the integral development of Brazil, whether due to its productive characteristics, territorial size or the needs resulting from these factors, urgently demands the prioritization of MSEs and the establishment of solid cooperation networks that consider all agents social.

Syphilis is considered a sexually transmitted infection that, when not treated early and adequately, can develop into a chronic illness. Faced with the problem of Syphilis, the municipality of Iguatu-CE was one of the two municipalities in Ceará benefiting from the “Projeto Carta Acordo OPAS” which aimed to reduce the incidence rate of congenital Syphilis. The municipality's participation promoted changes in the way of tackling the syphilis problem, in which a series of recommendations were adopted, constituting a municipal public policy. As objectives, we attempted to carry out an epidemiological analysis of cases of gestational and congenital syphilis in the municipality of Iguatu-CE from May 2019 to April 2023, emphasizing the repercussions that occurred after the implementation of public policy in the municipality. As method, as method, we got information from gestational and congenital syphilis notification forms, made available by the Notifiable Diseases Information System – SINAN, was used. The data were disaggregated into periods, the first being from May 2019 to April 2021 (closing date of the training provided by the Project and beginning of actions implemented by the municipality) and the second between May 2021 to April 2023. The epidemiological description was carried out based on global descriptive statistics, as well as comparative and correlation analyze between the two periods. 83 new cases were reported throughout the period, 71 cases of gestational syphilis and 12 of congenital syphilis. There was an increase in notifications of cases of gestational syphilis and a 50% reduction in cases of congenital syphilis after the public policy. The highest prevalence occurred in young, black and mixed-race women with low education. Clinically, an improvement in indicators is observed after the implementation of public policy, such as a greater proportion of diagnoses confirmed in the first trimester of pregnancy and a greater proportion of treatments carried out appropriately. Concluding, the reduction in underreporting of gestational syphilis and vertical transmission of syphilis are associated with the implemented municipal public policy. Thus, as the changes implemented by the Department of Health present a low cost for the municipality, it is recommended that this public policy be extended to other municipalities in the State of Ceará, encouraging actions such as improving the testing, monitoring and treatment processes offered in Basic Health Care, in addition to allowing the prescription and administration of Benzantine Penicillin to be carried out by trained nurses. As in other evidence, the cases of gestational and congenital syphilis in the municipality of Iguatu-CE point to problems of inequity in access to health, mainly affecting pregnant women in situations of social vulnerability, making it necessary to broaden the perspective and care in relation to women in this social extract.

This thesis presents a study on the spin dynamics of confined excitons under the influence of a magnetic field. Experimental observations reveal unique correlations between Zeeman splitting and spin thermalization, which can be tuned to both temperature and incident light power. The theoretical model, which considers the eventual spin thermalization of bright excitons, qualitatively agrees with the experimental observations and highlights the importance of the exchange interaction. Furthermore, this study goes beyond previous approaches, offering additional insights into spin relaxation and the effects of correlations between bright and dark excitons. Two fundamental conclusions are derived from this work: first, it is shown that the spin dynamics of excitons confined under a magnetic field can be tuned by both temperature and incident power. Second, it is noted that the polarization of the electrons is not appropriate to adjust the experimental curve of the degree of optical polarization, since under the same approximations it is obtained that the optical polarization is zero. These conclusions provide valuable insights for interpreting experimental measurements and guiding future investigations into the spin dynamics of excitons in confinement.

Multigrade classrooms are a historical reality in rural education, whether in multigrade schools or not. As a rule, it often ends up being the only way the State is present in communities, as well as the sole means of access to school education. The main characteristic is catering to students of different ages and educational levels, instructed by a single teacher. Despite being a reality across the country, it is still viewed with much prejudice and often relegated to the background by public authorities. This neglect is responsible for the scarcity of public policies aimed at improving these schools. This study aims to identify and analyze the pedagogical practices carried out in multigrade classrooms in rural schools based on the academic production available, examining to what extent they adapt to the specific nature of this form of teaching or conform to the graded paradigm. The theoretical framework relies on the contributions of Salomão Hage and Dermeval Saviani. The methodology of this study was developed based on a bibliographic research collected from data obtained through consultations in the INEP (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research) database and Google Scholar (books and articles), as well as the selection of 17 dissertations and 03 theses from the CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) theses and dissertations database. The research findings show that school education offered in multigrade rural schools presents recurring pedagogical and infrastructural problems. Additionally, there is a lack of adequate teacher training and minimal attention from educational public policies, often leaving these schools aside and even viewing them as marginalized education. In most cases, the complexity of pedagogical work in these classrooms is not considered in the Pedagogical Political Projects (PPPs) and generally conforms to the urban graded model. Therefore, it is necessary to take a closer look at these multigrade classrooms/schools to develop pedagogical practices specifically geared towards multigrade rural education, practices that take into account the reality, specificities, and particular issues of these students. It's also imperative to have public policies focused on multigrade education to address all the difficulties encountered in this teaching organization, including teacher training.

The addition of fibers to concrete provides ductility and their contribution to high-strength concrete may be even more relevant due to the high brittleness of the material. Nevertheless, research in the literature investigating the mechanical behavior of high- strength fiber-reinforced concrete (HSFRC) is limited and mostly involves concrete reinforced with steel fibers. This research investigated the mechanical behavior of high-strength fiber-reinforced concrete (HSFRC) through an extensive experimental program with six different types of fiber divided into three categories according to the material of the fiber: hooked-end steel fiber, crimped steel fiber, chopped glass fiber, pultruded glass fiber, monofilament polymeric fiber and twisted polymeric fiber. Each one of these fibers was studied at three different volume fractions (Vf) (0.50%, 0.75% and 1.00%), making a total of 29 different mixes in the experimental program. The parameters analyzed were the type and fiber content and the compressive strength of the concrete (60 and 90 MPa). The mechanical behavior was investigated through compressive displacement-controlled tests to obtain the complete stress-strain curve and three-point bending tests in notched beams to determine the residual strengths. The test results showed that the addition of fibers can affect the mechanical properties of concrete, such as compressive strength, elastic modulus and peak strain, depending on the type and fiber content. Toughness, on the other hand, is clearly influenced by the fiber addition and content. In general, the greater the fiber content, the greater the toughness and residual strength in bending regardless of the fiber type. Steel fibers provided the highest toughness and residual strengths in compression, followed by glass fibers and polymeric fibers. Constitutive models in compression were proposed for each type of fiber and showed good agreement with the experimental results and can be used to estimate the ductility and toughness of the HSFRC. In bending, the limit of proportionality is slightly influenced by the fiber content and hooked-end steel fibers also provided the highest residual strengths, followed by pultruded glass fibers and crimped steel fibers, polymeric fibers and chopped glass fibers. Furthermore, the requirements of technical standards for using fibers in structural applications were discussed and must be reviewed for high-strength fiber-reinforced concrete. The experimental results of the bending tests were used in finite element modelling (FEM) to obtain the constitutive model in tension by inverse analysis. The results obtained with the numerical model showed good agreement with the experimental results in terms of toughness and proved to be a useful tool for numerical simulations of fiber- reinforced concrete. From the validation of the numerical model, multilinear constitutive models were proposed and can be used for design purposes. The analyzes carried out also demonstrated that the simplified models of the technical standard can overestimate (in the case of the linear model) or underestimate (in the case of the rigid-plastic model) the toughness of HSFRC and do not represent the post-cracking behavior of high-strength concrete reinforced with glass and polymeric fibers.

The remaining fabric from the textile industry, especially that related to clothing, is a growing environmental and economic problem. On a global scale, in 2015, 92 million tons of fabric were discarded and it is expected that by 2030 this number will increase to 148 million tons. Concomitantly with consumption, there is disposal that occurs in landfills, through incineration for conversion into energy, and also inappropriately in landfills. An alternative to disposing of waste from the textile industry is its recycling. Therefore, in this project, post-industrial waste polyamide 6 (PA6) was recycled with the aim of developing a material that can return to its original application, promoting adequate circularity. Furthermore, the influence of the presence of carbodiimide, as a functional molecule, on the recycling of dry and wet PA6 was studied. The results of X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry indicated that there was a change in the crystalline phase of PA6 from α to γ with the incorporation of CDI. The rheology results indicated an increase in molar mass of 73% for dry samples and 147% for wet samples, indicating that carbodiimide is more effective in humid media. Intrinsic viscosity analyzes together with rheology analyzes indicated that the increase in CDI probably induces the formation of long branches. Finally, the mechanical tests indicated that for the dry samples there was an increase in tensile strength, while for the wet samples there was no change. These tests also indicated that carbodiimide increases the ductility of PA6, with dry samples showing an increase of around 70% in elongation at break, while wet samples showed an increase of around 55%.

It is necessary to take a non-naive look about the role of communication in society so that the relationship between health professionals and patients can be analyzed and even contribute, albeit indirectly, to its humanization. For that, this research examines reports about the interaction between health professionals and patients, found through open interviews, in an attempt to understand some aspects of communication within the scope of public health. The research focus is on a unit of the Unified Health System (SUS) in the city of Campinas (SP), and the creation of the corpus occurred in two distinct stages: data collection, selection and transcription of the material. This transcribed material was analyzed with theoretical support, above all, from French Discursive Semiotics, in dialogue with Discourse Analysis, as well as with other studies on social interaction, developed in Linguistics, but also in the field of Health, such as Anthropology of Health. In our analysis, the construction of the ethos, images of health professionals and patients and the actor of enunciation stood out, as well as the interaction regimes activated, valued and devalued by the participants in their narratives.

This master's thesis focuses on understanding the discursive construction of a Top Voice's prescriptive publications on the normative use of the Portuguese language, produced and broadcast in a digital environment, more specifically on the professional social network LinkedIn. For our investigation, based on the regularities observed, we divided the posts into three scenographies: coach, trainer and self-help. All these posts are about writing and communication for the corporate environment. Our aim, based on the analysis of authorial productions on the web, is to reflect on (i) the influence of web 2.0 on the production of discourses, (ii) what language is being spoken about and (iii) the scenography used to disseminate this language. To do this, we draw on the theoretical and methodological writings of Dominique Maingueneau (2015), especially the notion of Scenes of Enunciation, with a focus on topical and non-topical units for the analytical path, and the concepts covered in the book Digital Discourse Analysis: a dictionary of forms and practices by Marie-Anne Paveau (2021) to describe the LinkedIn social network and how publications on this network work. We will also give a brief theoretical outline of the structuring concepts of Discourse Analysis from the book Discourse and Discourse Analysis by Dominique Maingueneau and Popular Linguistics by Marie-Anne Paveau in France and Roberto Leiser Baronas in Brazil, in order to begin to outline this interface between Discourse Analysis and Popular Linguistics in relation to our analysis material. For the analysis itself, we selected the business profile and 13 authorial publications of Dalva, elected in 2020 as LinkedIn's Top Voice. In conclusion, the work showed that the discourse on the cultured norm of the language, the one supported by grammars, takes on a new guise in the digital environment, on a social network that connects people with professional themes, and that, through a unique discursive production, that is, specific scenographies, allows this transposition to be advocated, building a different relationship from that of books, closer to the subjects, and that it is a different language, aimed at the corporate environment.
