listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Desafios e potencialidades das práticas pedagógicas em escolas ribeirinhas: uma revisão em teses e dissertações(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-09-11) Santos, Odilia Brenda Meira; Galletti, Rebeca Chiacchio Azevedo Fernandes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1165657786360823This undergraduate thesis seeks, through a bibliographic research based on studies cataloged in the Capes Theses and Dissertations Catalog, to identify the relationship between sociocultural knowledge and the pedagogical practices implemented by teachers in schools located in riverside areas. The analysis of the studies was guided by a reading and document analysis form with the following descriptors and categories: Work Reference (Title; Author; Advisor; Year of Publication; Institution; Academic Degree); Location Characteristics (Location and infrastructure of the riverside school; Regional Characteristics - Cultural Aspects and Socioeconomic Conditions); Practice Characteristics (Target Audience; Relationship with the community; Challenges faced by researchers/teachers in developing pedagogical practices; Other relevant information). The analysis revealed a significant gap in academic production on the topic in Brazil and highlighted that education in these areas faces relevant challenges, including inadequate infrastructure and teacher workload. These factors result in the deprioritization of innovative pedagogical practices in favor of more basic approaches, due to the lack of time, resources, and adequate support.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Políticas públicas no setor de biocombustíveis no Brasil relacionadas à diminuição de gases de efeito estufa(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-09-11) Gonçalves, Giullia de Paula; Pitelli, Mariusa Momenti; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2810339285129049This study provides a analysis of public policies aimed at biofuels in Brazil, focusing on the reduction of greenhouse gases. The study also addresses governance challenges and the need for integration between economic and environmental policies. It concludes that RenovaBio represents a significant advance, but still faces challenges to fully achieve its goals.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Revisão sobre o manejo de Sphenophorus levis (Vaurie, 1978) em cana-de-açúcar e aplicação de um estudo de caso(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-09-11) Bertoli, Caio Nascimento; Hoffmann, Hermann Paulo; Marques, Rodrigo Neves; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8945237946471247; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1003-3706The main objective of this work was to gather information from the literature on integrated management strategies to control Sphenophorus levis in sugarcane crops, aiming to reduce insect damage and promote agricultural sustainability. The study includes an analysis of the effectiveness of different cultural practices such as crop rotation and soil management in reducing S. levis infestation. Additionally, biological and chemical methods were reviewed, considering their impacts on agricultural ecosystem health. A brief case study was conducted in a sugarcane plantation where management and pest control strategies were observed and applied. This case study allowed for an analysis of the effectiveness of cultural practices, biological, and chemical control methods, offering a realistic view of challenges and solutions in managing S. levis. The results indicate that integrating cultural practices with biological and chemical methods can minimize damage, and promote sustainability and health of the agricultural ecosystem.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A colonização portuguesa em livros didáticos de História do Brasil: influências historiográficas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-09-11) Camargo, Helder Mateus de; Bittar, Marisa; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3059723520472948; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7326038586282187This work aims to investigate the Portuguese Colonization in didactic books of Brazilian History under the perspective of the History of Education and the History of School Subjects. It was intended to investigate the form and significance attributed to colonization to identify changes and permanence concerning didactic books. Four didactic pieces were chosen for this analysis, each covering one specific period of the twentieth century. The didactic book is here viewed as a complex cultural aid, responsible for the systematization of a set of information, contents and values. By observing the aforementioned complexity of its nature, the research also aims to identify and explain specific concepts in relation to historical conceptions found in the didactic narrative regarding the Portuguese colonization process. The problematization of the didactic narrative will thus be given from the dialogue under historiographical knowledge, particularly in relation to more influential historiographical currents for each of the periods in question.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, As repercussões das relações de poder entre docentes e estudantes na interpretação do erro no processo de aprendizagem(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-09-11) Carneiro, Manuela; Reis, Denise Maria; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1224343794340576; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9172-3711A perspectiva de uma escola cuja função social é, predominantemente, preparar para a produtividade e competição do sistema econômico vigente reproduz mecanismos de controle e formas de avaliação da aprendizagem que condenam os equívocos dos estudantes e dificultam a reflexão sobre as práticas docentes. One of the main crops in use of pesticides is pepper (Capsicum annuum L.), however, there are already on the market several biological inputs that can be used in the management of culture. Furthermore, there are agroecological techniques for capturing, selecting and reproduction of natural communities of efficient microorganisms present in nature that can also be used. The present study aimed to objective to compare the efficiency of mixed synthetic communities and strains isolated from commercially available biological products of Bacillus velezensis and Trichoderma sp., as well as natural communities of efficient microorganisms natives captured near the study area. Isolated microorganisms and two different types of microorganism communities were applied in trays, for the formation of seedlings, and in the field, in transplanted seedlings and evaluated parameters of growth, development and productivity of plants. It was possible to verify, for the experiment with seedling formation, emphasis on treatment with T. harzianum in all indicators of aerial part development (number of leaves, stem diameter, height and dry mass of aerial part). In plants in the field there was no difference between treatments in indicators of dry mass production and plant productivity.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Diagnóstico ambiental do município de Boa Esperança (MG)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-09-11) Marangon, Kaueh Cardoso; Jesus, Silvia Cristina de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2755740480901462; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0320-0000The municipality of Boa Esperança, located in the south of Minas Gerais, was founded in the 19th century during the gold exploration era in the region. With the introduction of coffee cultivation, the municipality became an important producer, with 98% of its territory in 2022 dedicated to grain production for domestic consumption and export. The economic development driven by coffee cultivation allowed for local growth, combined with the damming of waters from the Furnas Hydroelectric Plant, has created opportunities for the consolidation of tourism-related activities, ranging from the hotel industry to hosting international events. The establishment of the Boa Esperança State Park in 2007, justified by the need to preserve remnants of Cerrado and Atlantic Forest, further strengthened the area's tourism potential, significantly influencing the local economy. Consequently, various changes occurred in the municipal territory in terms of land cover and impacts on protected green areas. In this context, the present study aimed to assess the Permanent Preservation Areas in the municipality, which currently have less than 40% forest cover. Other relevant findings point to the direct conversion of native vegetation areas for coffee cultivation and other agricultural uses, the presence and urbanization of economically impactful activities along the shores of Lago dos Encantos, and the development of a Municipal Master Plan that does not account for urban green areas as preservation zones nor considers the potential creation of an urban open space system that would benefit the population.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A construção da detetive: uma análise discursiva do filme Enola Holmes(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-09-11) Ferreira, Bruna Laisa; Carvalho, Pedro Henrique Varoni de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0019513394358070; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1492-4891; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8808763975658101This study examines the portrayal of the detective figure in the film Enola Holmes (2020) focusing on the order of discourse and the power dynamics highlighted by the syncretic materiality. It investigates whether the emergence of a female subject role within the detective archetype is influenced by the Sherlockian universe. The main objective was to analyze how the visual materiality of the audiovisual production, in conjunction with its verbal discourse, shaped the identity of the female detective character. Specific objectives included: a) investigating the characters' bodily and facial expressions to identify subtle clues that define their identities; b) understanding the order of discourse and power relations depicted in the film; c) examining the historical revisitation of the Victorian era through the lens of contemporary discourse. The research was conducted using an inductive approach, analyzing verbal and visual data through Foucauldian discourse theory, the Historical Semiotics concept proposed by Jean Jacques Courtine, and the evidentiary paradigm developed by Carlo Ginzburg. The analysis revealed that the film's depiction of the detective is symbolic, with Enola using her investigative skills to challenge patriarchy. The study found that the detective figure was constructed based on her social position, revealing a detective configuration distinct from that of Sherlock Holmes.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Produção de um roteiro de observação sobre a acessibilidade em espaço não formal de educação: um estudo sobre o zoológico de Sorocaba(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-09-11) Alleman, Isabella de Almeida; Silva, Fernanda Keila Marinho da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6390725197649567; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5697-8417The objective of this study is to discuss the accessibility and inclusion of people with disabilities in zoos, based on the creation of an observation guide for accessibility in these spaces. The work involved, in addition to theoretical grounding, a visit to the selected zoo, which provided observations and photographic records. The methodology adopted for the study included a discussion of the concepts of inclusion and accessibility and how these themes are applied in environments such as zoos. Some regulatory documents were referenced for the production of the observation guide, allowing for the identification of accessibility conditions present at the site. The visit to the zoo allowed for the identification of infrastructure and services offered in accordance with legal requirements. However, there are still significant gaps concerning accessibility for people with visual and hearing impairments. These areas require structural and service improvements to ensure an inclusive experience for all visitors.
