To this end, we work on a theoretical dialogue between audiovisual narrative techniques proposed in classic script manuals, such as those by McKee and Fiel, and concepts of Foucaultian discourse analysis, particularly that of discursive formation. Set in Austria in 1938, the film combines themes of resistance to authoritarianism, personal transformation, and the impact of the historical context on the characters' identities. The paper seeks to understand how the Captain, initially rigid and authoritarian, undergoes a transformation that reflects values of freedom, courage, and resistance to Nazism. The analysis addresses elements such as the narrative arc, the influence of family relationships, the role of music, and the sociopolitical context. The objective is to investigate the discursive construction of the character Captain Von Trapp in the film The Sound of Music, analyzing how his narrative and discursive transformations reflect changes in personal identity and political resistance. The choice of the theme is justified by the cultural and historical impact of the film The Sound of Music, produced in the 1960s, as a work that transcends its artistic value by addressing issues such as resistance to authoritarianism and personal transformation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Uma descrição sintático-semântica de ‘sozinho’ em português brasileiro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Rodrigues, Elisa; Basso, Renato Miguel; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6984826176670527; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2580-0365; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0674551249513442; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4817-5884In this work, we provide a first syntactic-semantic description of the item ‘sozinho’ (‘alone’) in Brazilian Portuguese. Regarding its syntactic behavior, we observe that ‘sozinho’ is a multiparadigm modifier: sometimes modifying NP structures, and other times modifying VP structures. Furthermore, through the tools of Cartographic Syntax, we recognize that ‘sozinho’ can be ordered between the categories Asp Delayed and Asp Inceptive(II) of the Middlefield Hierarchy, as well as the Demonstratives and Size AP categories of the Extended Projection of Noun Hierarchy. Concerning its semantic behavior, we identify at least 7 distinct interpretations triggered by ‘sozinho’: spatio-temporal, emotional, behavioral, mereological, argumental modifier, anti-causal, and autonomous. We categorize these interpretations into 3 groups based on the semantic scope of ‘sozinho’ in the sentence: entities, events, or participants in an argumental role. We note, however, that in all cases ‘sozinho’ exhibits the same semantic mechanism, which is to disallow the expression of accompaniment across different levels of interpretation. Thus, we follow the analysis of Basso & Rodrigues (2024) that ‘sozinho’ is an anti-comitative modifier, i.e. a modifier that does not allow the expression of accompaniment. Finally, we relate the syntactic and semantic behavior of ‘sozinho’, showing how the different interpretations of ‘sozinho’ are achieved depending on its syntactic configuration. This is an original work that contributes both to the description of Brazilian Portuguese and to the advancement of the literature in Cartographic Syntax and Formal Semantics.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Determinação da contribuição harmônica em pontos de acoplamento comum de microrredes: uma abordagem baseada em aprendizado de máquina(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Mella, Matheus Clementino de; Fernandes, Ricardo Augusto Souza; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0880243208789454; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2361-6505; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1572035295711262; https://orcid.org/0009-0002-1952-5459The increasing integration of nonlinear loads and distributed energy resources in microgrids (MG) has raised the levels of harmonic distortions in distribution feeders. Identifying the origin of these distortions, whether from the MG or the utility’s medium-voltage network, is essential for managing the quality of electrical power. In this context, this project proposed a machine learning-based approach to identify the side responsible for the location of harmonic sources in electrical distribution systems, determining whether the main contribution to the distortions occurs on the utility side or the MG side. For this, Random Forest and XGBoost classifiers were used. The F1-score was adopted as the evaluation metric because it combines precision and recall metrics, providing a balanced view of the model’s performance, especially in scenarios where there is class imbalance. The methodology was validated through simulations on the IEEE 34-bus feeder using the ATP software, with harmonic sources such as 6 and 12-pulse rectifiers, SFC, DC motor drive, and TCR, located on the utility side or the microgrid side, with each simulation considering only one harmonic source. The generated dataset was used to train and validate the models, which achieved F1-scores above 99%, showing high precision in identifying the predominant side in harmonic distortions. However, the F1-score decreased as the distance between the source and the PAC increased due to harmonic distortion attenuation. Nevertheless, both models maintained F1-scores above 97% for distances greater than 40 km, demonstrating the robustness of the models. The entire process, including scenario definition, simulation execution, dataset structuring, and machine learning pipeline implementation, was automated in Python. The Optuna library was used to optimize the models by continuously adjusting the classifiers’ parameters. The methodology proved effective in identifying the side responsible for harmonic distortions, with robust performance even in large-distance scenarios. The results indicate that the approach is useful in the simulated scenario, considering the location of one harmonic load at a time, allowing a clear analysis of the location of harmonic sources in the distribution system.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avenida Doutor Ulysses Guimarães: desenvolvimento urbano e a manutenção da periferia(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Pinheiro, Rafaela Martin; Mariano, Neusa de Fátima; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5003743301847104This work aims to analyze, in a dialectical way, the changes related to urban development over the years on Avenida Doutor Ulysses Guimarães, based on fundamental concepts of urban geography by authors such as Henri Lefebvre and David Harvey to analyze the impacts caused on the urban development of the city. To carry out the research, primary sources were used with the application of two branches of qualitative-quantitative questionnaires to dialogue directly with the residents of the avenue. Using secondary sources, such as bibliographic and documentary research to understand the social dynamics that shape the center-periphery relations. Urban development and the creation of new road connections generate the movement of subcenters in the North Zone of Sorocaba, causing changes in infrastructure and driving the construction of new centralities in the growing outskirts, devaluing the center and increasing the cost of living in these areas previously belonging to marginalized groups that may be pushed to new outskirts or, as observed in the research, finding ways to maintain themselves in these new imposed conditions by adapting their way of subsisting.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Formação docente na perspectiva inclusiva de alunos com deficiência intelectual e transtorno do espectro autista: percepção dos professores de educação física(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Amâncio, Andréia Aparecida Borges ; Godoi Jacomassi, Daniela; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7699007812483790; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7043-7529; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4437754569512686; https://orcid.org/0009-0002-2286-3539Considering the increase in enrollment of students with disabilities in regular public schools, it is difficult to provide truly inclusive Physical Education classes, given that teacher training on the topic of inclusion is sometimes superficial. The objective of this study is to analyze the knowledge of Physical Education teachers in Early Childhood Education and Elementary School in a Municipal Education Network about Intellectual Disability (ID) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from the perspective of inclusive Physical Education for students who are part of the Target Audience of Special Education (TASE) and to propose training actions that contemplate the care of students with ID/ASD for teachers. This is a qualitative study involving Physical Education teachers who work with students in Early Childhood Education and Elementary School. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered via Google Forms. The data were analyzed using content analysis. Twenty-eight teachers with an average age of 40 years participated in the research. Approximately 89% of the teachers have postgraduate degrees. Regarding their undergraduate education, most of them had one or more courses related to Inclusive Physical Education, although the course titles varied across programs. Approximately 10% of the participants with the longest time since graduation did not have any courses related to the topic. All participants reported having students with ID or ASD in one or more classes, demonstrating the effective increase in enrollment of atypical students in regular education. Among the difficulties pointed out by teachers in working with this group are the lack of supervision by an assistant teacher or support, the absence of practical and theoretical training guidelines, and the shortage of adequate spaces and materials. These observations supported the development of a training course available on the UFSCar Course Portal.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Contribuições de Bakhtin para os sistemas de RPG modernos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Santana, Maria Eduarda da Matta; Lopes, Rafael dos Santos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5844779001569250; Carvalho, Pedro Henrique Varoni de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0019513394358070; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1492-4891; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2989458774425796; https://orcid.org/0009-0007-7457-1817In this final term paper, analyses the influence of Dungeons & Dragons in three authorial RPGs (homebrews), investigating the presence of dialogic relations, and echoes, of the officialized system even in games that are not directly inspired by it. The research compares mechanics, narratives and structures of the three systems studied, highlighting similarities and differences both between them and in relation to the D&D macrocosm. Based on Mikhail Bakhtin’s concepts of polyphony and dialogism, the study seeks to demonstrate how RPGs are built from multiple voices in constant interaction. In the end, it is concluded that the creation of new systems follows a dialogic logic, evidencing the continuous influence of D&D on the structure and evolution of authorial RPGs.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Divisibilidade, números primos e suas aplicações(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Melheiros, Yuri; Rezende, Alex Carlucci; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4190869482260889; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1713-5337This thesis explores the concepts of divisibility and prime numbers, tracing their origins from ancient Mathematics to modern applications. Divisibility, a fundamental aspect of number theory, was addressed by ancient civilizations and formalized by mathematicians such as Euclid and Gauss. The Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic, which states the unique factorization of integers into prime factors, is crucial for understanding divisibility. Euclid’s algorithm for computing the Greatest Common Divisor (GCD) is discussed, highlighting its historical importance and its applications in cryptography, particularly in the RSA system where prime numbers are essential for information security. According to the Base National Common Curriculum (BNCC), the study of divisibility and prime numbers is integrated into fundamental education, with proposed practical activities for engaging students. The thesis concludes with reflections on the ongoing relevance of these concepts in Mathematics and technology and suggests future educational projects to deepen classroom knowledge.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Os fios que me tecem: memorial acadêmico de uma professora em formação(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Silvestrini, Maiara Inês Varize; Anunciato, Rosa Maria Moraes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3064136997342775; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1478-411X; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0888-8038This document is an academic memorial entitled "OS FIOS QUE ME TEAM: Academic Memorial of a Teacher in Training" written by Maiara Inês Varize Silvestrini. There is a dynamic in the dissemination of images of the female body associated with the agendas and discussions of the feminist movement. The problem in this context occurs because a considerable portion of the images present women's bodies that fit into a white hegemonic aesthetic standard and have a hypersensualized character. Thus, this research aims to analyze the way in which the idea of female empowerment and elements associated with this concept are presented on Instagram through the profiles oftwo digital influencers. For this, the profiles of Marcela McGowan (@marcelamcgowan) and Thelma Assis (@thelminha) are analyzed. Marcela (@marcelamcgowan) is a doctor, presenter, and digital influencer, while Thelma (@thelminha) is a doctor, dancer, presenter, YouTuber, and digital influencer. One of the main hypotheses is that the portrayal of the theme of "female empowerment," along with the elements associated with this concept, is situated within a context that values and disseminates aspects derived from white ideology and culture, here understood through the concept of whiteness. Preliminary results suggest that Instagram is a platform endowed with a set of practices and communicative tructures through which it influences and shapes the formation of individual subjectivities, assuming a pedagogical role. As for the dissemination of the idea of female empowerment associated with the perspective of whiteness, a diversity of interpretations has been diagnosed so far, requiring an approach capable of interpreting and assimilating the specific experiences of each group of womenlistelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Desenvolvimento de refratários espinelizados avançados eco-amigáveis em substituição aos materiais contendo cromo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Borges, Otávio Henrique; Pandolfelli, Victor Carlos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7369376873984839; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1711-9804; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3641422282209414; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6780-4159Until the 1990s, the use of electrofused magnesia-chrome aggregates (EMCA) was widespread in refractory linings for the steel industry. Despite their efficiency and low cost, it was discovered that these materials generate toxic byproducts. Consequently, spinel-containing refractories (MgAl2O4) emerged as the main alternative, though their cost and performance have not yet reached equivalent levels. This thesis combined computational and experimental tools to design and evaluate non-toxic compositions, focusing on their thermomechanical, chemical and microstructural properties. Initially, the substitution of MgO with ZnO as a spinel-forming additive in alumina-based refractory castables was investigated. Its use enhanced the mechanical strength at intermediate temperatures and induced the early formation of zinc spinel (ZnAl₂O₄). However, the Kirkendall effect induced porosity at the alumina aggregate interfaces, highlighting the need for adjustments for steelmaking applications. Additionally, the introduction of zinc oxide enabled microwave-assisted sintering of these materials, an efficient alternative to conventional methods, leading to improved mechanical properties and greater energy efficiency. Nonetheless, zinc volatilization above 1300 °C revealed its limitations in reducing environments. Therefore, the study focused on deeper characterizing the EMCA. Inspired by the findings, four chromium-free compositions were designed and produced via fusion or sintering, both at a laboratory scale. Dilatometry and thermal conductivity tests demonstrated the promising performance of the novel compositions and the potential to tailor their properties through minor compositional adjustments. Finally, the industrial interest in the results of this thesis enabled a partnership with a multinational refractory manufacturer. In collaboration, pilot-scale tests are currently being conducted to develop industry-applicable technology capable of reducing the environmental impact associated with chromium-containing refractories.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Evolução da participação das startups da construção civil e mercado imobiliário no Brasil(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Goulart, Gustavo Engler; Paliari, José Carlos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9387796929252598; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2964-8551This study aims to map the evolution of startup participation in the construction and real estate sectors over time, analyzing their relationship with macroeconomic data and the impacts generated in the industry. To achieve this, concepts such as Industry 4.0 and Construction 4.0 were explored, as they have driven the adoption of advanced technologies in construction and real estate properties. Additionally, the main technologies used by construtechs and proptechs—including Building Information Modeling (BIM), drones, 3D printing, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence—were analyzed to understand how these innovations are transforming the way the construction sector operates and interacts with its clients. The results identified 1,071 startups in the construction and real estate sectors, reflecting a growth of 523% in the number of companies from 2014 to 2024. Of these, 298 were classified as construtechs and 773 as proptechs, with growth rates of 562% and 508% over the same period, respectively. It was observed that construtechs have concentrated on the digitization and automation of construction processes, enhancing efficiency and minimizing waste. Meanwhile, proptechs have contributed to the modernization of the real estate market by offering solutions that optimize user experience and asset management. Although this study reveals a significant rise in the number of startups in Brazil in recent years, civil engineering remains a relatively underexplored field in academic research, especially regarding innovation and technology-driven entrepreneurship. This gap highlights both challenges and opportunities for developing innovative solutions that can modernize the sector. Therefore, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of startup dynamics in construction and reinforces the need for further academic investigation on the subject.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Treinamento de profissionais para aplicação de um recurso informatizado e aquisição de leitura e escrita por pessoas com autismo em contexto clínico(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Pinto, Giovana Zanardo Costa; Postalli, Lidia Maria Marson; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2748282330028870; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7560-697X; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2541534243506877; https://orcid.org/0009-0005-3101-1348; Afonso, Priscila Benitez; Freitas, Maria Clara de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0000868072508462; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6993887072345221Teaching reading and writing is essential for individuals living in society. People with autism may face challenges in interpretation, word-meaning association, and literal understanding, making it essential for the teaching of these skills to be planned and structured through evidence-based practices. The computerized teaching program "Learning to Read and Write in Small Steps" (ALEPP), based on the Stimulus Equivalence paradigm, has been employed in various contexts by different agents and has demonstrated positive outcomes across diverse audiences. Training agents to implement evidence-based instructional resources is critical to ensuring the fidelity of teaching program implementation. This study aimed to evaluate whether the training provided to professionals was sufficient to ensure the proper application of the program and the effective monitoring of learners during tasks, thus assessing the effects of the ALEPP program on individuals with autism in a clinical setting. The study was conducted in a private behavioral intervention clinic located in the interior of São Paulo, Brazil. Four participants with autism, aged between 6 and 11 years (one girl and three boys), were selected alongside seven instructors, who participated in an initial training program. This training included theoretical instructions on the stimulus equivalence paradigm, modeling of the program’s use, and practical simulations. The dependent variables included instructor’s performance in program implementation, assessed through application simulations, checklist records, and session monitoring, as well as the learners’ performance in reading and writing tasks, measured by the number of correct responses in ALEPP activities and the Reading and Writing Diagnosis (DLE) assessment. The teaching program was implemented through a baseline phase to assess the learners’ initial repertoires, the application of the ALEPP program, and follow-up meetings with instructors for adjustments and support. The results showed that the initial training was sufficient to ensure the proper application of the program in most situations. However, in some cases, additional feedback and practical support were necessary to adjust teaching strategies. Regarding learner performance, the results indicated that all four participants significantly expanded their reading and writing repertoires after the application of the ALEPP program. However, environmental adjustments, such as the introduction of reinforcement schedules, modifications to the physical application setting, and solutions to technical issues, were required. Social validity data, obtained through questionnaires administered to the learners, their caregivers, and instructors, demonstrated that the implementation of the program in the clinical setting was effective, contributed to teaching programming, and facilitated participation in activities related to reading and writing skills in other contexts during after-school hours.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, "Fé na horta, colheremos": a agricultura urbana como instrumento de luta do MTST(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Silva, Patricia Amorim Costa; Borsatto, Ricardo Serra; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5988987575101933; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7594-479X; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3404052112463207; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0485-6610This study highlights the relevance of urban and peri-urban agriculture as an emerging phenomenon within the occupations of the MTST (Homeless Workers' Movement) in the peripheries of the São Paulo Metropolitan Region. It emphasizes its multi-functionality and crucial role in the struggle for fundamental rights, such as access to land, affordable housing, and food security and sovereignty. This exploratory and descriptive research employs a methodological framework that integrates participatory research and hermeneutic dialectics, focusing on the collective garden of the Carolina Maria de Jesus Occupation between 2022 and 2023. Our findings indicate that this agricultural practice provides an immediate response to hunger and subsistence needs and serves as a space for resistance and empowerment. By fostering solidarity and collective building through this praxis, the movement strengthens its social and political engagement, creating a more just and sustainable city. Thus, the urban and peri-urban agriculture practiced by the MTST, preliminarily termed "homeless agriculture," emerges as a vital instrument in the pursuit of dignity and quality of life for peripheral populations, reflecting a new paradigm of struggle that integrates food production and social rights within a framework of social transformation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Influência da normalização no desempenho de classificadores monolíticos e combinados(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Sato, Emily; Fogo, José Carlos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7654071774665744; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6156574638170041Classification is a process that uses data and algorithms to categorize objects based on specific characteristics. In statistics there are different approaches to classification, such as neural networks, ensemble methods, statistical models, support vector machines (SVM), among others. Therefore, it is important to choose an approach based on the specific characteristics of the problem and the data. This work aims to analyze whether the application of of variable scalling techniques influences the improvement of monolithic and combined classifiers. For this purpose, scaling techniques (normalization) were used and the influence on the performance of the classifiers was evaluated by measures, such as F1, accuracy, specificity and sensitivity. The study also includes a statistical definition of the concepts used and a methodological review, in addition to the data preprocessing phase.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, “Se morre, se mata”: um estudo sociológico sobre saúde mental e suicídio na PMESP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Coelho, Thiago; Sinhoretto, Jacqueline; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7743699562476490; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8718-779X; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4298817035107175; https://orcid.org/0009-0004-9720-5703The issue of mental health, especially in relation to suicide, is highly complex in terms of its causes and means, which makes it difficult to create and maintain public policies aimed at preventing it, especially in the area of Public Security. This project aimed to analyze the actions of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo regarding mental health care and suicide prevention between 2020, 2021, and 2022. The legislative text of the Mental Health System and academic production related to the topic were analyzed to understand its functioning. In addition, secondary data on suicide among military police officers were collected, focusing on the southeast region. A booklet proposed by the institution for suicide prevention among military police officers was also analyzed. Finally, data were requested via the Access to Information Law regarding the total number of users of SiSMen and the Suicide Prevention Program, through stratification by gender, ethnicity, and rank. Additionally, data was requested on the psychologists working in the PMESP and how many of these are military police officers performing this function. A mixed methodology was used to collect the data. It was concluded that institutions still have low adherence to the dissemination of data on suicide, using information from previous and, in some cases, unofficial collections. Furthermore, a contradiction of austerity and care was observed, which, even though SiSMen is structured at the bureaucratic level, can be related to the coexistence of the idea that normalizes discipline and hierarchy, permeating the content of psychological vulnerability on the part of military police officers.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Bambu engenheirado estrutural, caracterização da indústria global e uma revisão sobre o cross-laminated bamboo (CLB)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-02-19) Alves, Larissa Fé; De Araujo, Victor Almeida; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7419315199923119; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2747-4738; Christoforo, André Luis; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7623383075429186; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4066-080X; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6487503616270067; https://orcid.org/0009-0004-5701-3897Engineered bamboo emerges as a sustainable and viable solution in civil construction, overcoming limitations of natural variability and lack of standardization by offering composites with consistent physical and mechanical performance. This study aimed to characterize the global industry of structural engineered bamboo products (EBPs) to promote their use in industrialized construction solutions. The specific objectives included identifying and classifying EBP manufacturers based on marketed products, geographical location, bamboo species used, types of adhesives and preservatives, applications, certifications, and production levels. For cross-laminated bamboo (CLB) and cross-laminated bamboo and timber (CLBT) systems, the study reviewed the state of the art, addressing manufacturing processes, applicable standards, experimental, analytical, and numerical methodologies, mechanical properties, bamboo species employed, applications, and challenges related to large-scale production and structural use. The methodology consisted of a systematic literature review on databases such as Scopus and Web of Science, as well as a sectoral survey to characterize companies in the field. The systematic review of the industry revealed that, despite the growing academic and industrial interest, the lack of comprehensive studies on production and consumption hinders strategies for large-scale expansion. The integration between research and market, coupled with the development of standards and public policies, is essential to establish engineered bamboo as a sustainable alternative in civil construction. The characterization of the engineered bamboo structural industry revealed its concentration in China, technological advances, and product diversity, such as bamboo scrimber and laminated bamboo lumber, along with broad applicability in structural components. However, the lack of process standardization, transparency in technical information, and detailed data on projects and the global market limits its large-scale acceptance. The sector holds potential for hybrid systems, modular structures, and large-scale buildings but requires greater standardization, technical dissemination, and research investments to consolidate engineered bamboo as a sustainable and competitive alternative in civil construction. The review on CLB highlighted significant advancements in the field, emphasizing predominant experimental methodologies that validate its structural and mechanical properties, such as bending, compression, and shear. Numerical and analytical methods complement the studies, enhancing the understanding of CLB behavior under complex conditions. The material demonstrates superior performance compared to CLT in several properties, standing out as a sustainable and efficient alternative for walls, floors, and beams in resilient and energy-efficient constructions. However, challenges related to standardization, durability, and validation under extreme conditions still need to be addressed to consolidate its large-scale application. The review on CLBT evidenced growing academic interest in the topic, with a predominance of experimental studies focusing on mechanical and structural properties, such as compression, bending, and shear. Analytical and numerical approaches complement the modeling and simulation of the material, while manufacturing processes highlight the use of bamboo scrimber, wood species such as Spruce-Pine-Fir, and adhesives like polyurethane (PUR) and phenol-resorcinol formaldehyde (PRF). CLBT demonstrated superior performance compared to CLT in compression and shear strength, being applied in floors, walls, and beams, though it still faces challenges of standardization, validation under extreme conditions, and process optimization. In summary, this study contributed to the expansion of technical and strategic knowledge about the global industry of structural engineered bamboo products, providing support for process standardization, the development of standards, and integration between research and market. By comprehensively reviewing and characterizing the productive, technological, and application aspects of CLB and CLBT, the research offers a solid foundation to drive the adoption of these materials as sustainable and high-performance alternatives in civil construction.
