Memorial acadêmico: capoeira, educação e reflexões sobre educação das relações étnico-raciais

Abstract

This academic memorial for the completion of the Pedagogy course aims to recount my experiences and reflections, connecting pedagogical theory and practice based on the context of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and the city of São Carlos, where the mandatory internships for the course took place, in schools and at the Municipal Department of Education, and my experiences with Capoeira. The theme chosen to reflect on my formative process was the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations, related to the study and compliance with Law 10.639/03, which makes the teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture mandatory in basic education.
