listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação dos impactos das mudanças climáticas na geração de energia eólica nos estados do Rio Grande do Norte e Ceará(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-11-13) Cunto, Guilherme Alcantara Barbosa; Tiezzi, Rafael de Oliveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7979063304544915; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8682-7807; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5106162302488271Wind energy has emerged as one of the main sustainable alternatives for electricity generation in Brazil. Among the states with the greatest potential, Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará stand out due to their favorable climatic and geographic conditions, which ensure strong and consistent wind regimes. However, the availability of this resource is highly dependent on climatic variability, making it essential that long-term energy planning incorporates reliable projections of future wind behavior. This study analyzed climate scenarios proposed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and their potential impacts on the wind energy sector, using outputs from Global Climate Models (GCMs) regionalized through the Eta model (BESM, CanESM2, HadGEM2-ES, and MIROC5), subsequently refined through machine learning techniques. Historical observational series were integrated into these projections, resulting in a hybrid modeling framework capable of providing high-accuracy forecasts for the next three decades. The results indicate a general trend of slight decreases in mean wind speeds, ranging from 2% to 7% by the mid-21st century. Ceará shows a more stable and homogeneous pattern, with modest reductions and low spatial variability, while Rio Grande do Norte exhibits more heterogeneous declines, particularly in inland areas. Despite these projected reductions, both states remain highly favorable for wind power expansion and for strengthening the green hydrogen production chain, consolidating the Northeast region as a strategic axis in Brazil’s energy transition.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Música na escola: a mediação cultural do(a) pedagogo(a) nos anos iniciais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-11-13) Ribeiro, Júlia Araújo; Lombardi, Lucia Maria Salgado dos Santos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5697508831302188; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6978-864X; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1137894228644463; https://orcid.org/0009-0004-3898-0339The present Undergraduate Thesis aims to investigate how the pedagogue can act as a cultural mediator in music, seeking to ensure its meaningful presence in the daily life of Elementary School’s Early Years. For this purpose, through qualitative bibliographic research, the study sought to reflect on the lack of music education subjects in Pedagogy courses, the issue of social media platforms such as TikTok, Reels, and YouTube currently being privileged channels for children’s music consumption, the concept of cultural mediation, and the possibilities of action for pedagogues in music mediation. The results indicate the importance of recognizing music as an artistic language and a field of knowledge that should be included as a subject in the Pedagogy curriculum, requiring specialized teachers to teach it in higher education, so that non-specialist teachers working in Early Childhood and Elementary Education receive essential musical education for pedagogical work with children. They point to the importance of the pedagogue acting as a mediating agent in music to integrate it meaningfully into pedagogical practices. They also reveal that, despite the media appeal of mass music that promotes standardization and musical impoverishment, it is possible to carry out pedagogical practices committed to musical quality in childhood.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Ruínas e memórias no neoextrativismo mineiro: a construção do desastre da Samarco como trauma cultural(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-11-13) Santos, Natanael de Alencar; Marzochi, Samira Feldman; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6466778428443375; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7528521103315148; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8607-5120; Acselrad, Henri; Milanez, Bruno; Valencio, Norma Felicidade Lopes da Silva; Martins, Rodrigo Constante; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2789652468369638; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7310974372819290; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7161606146208875; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6617183095074852In a global context marked by the devastation of mining, this study investigates how collectives affected by the Samarco dam collapse in Mariana articulate their memories and social suffering to address long-term social damages. The primary objective is to examine the impact of this work of memory on the collective identities of the affected populations and on their relationship with mining enterprises. The research posits that the critical event triggered a situation of sustained social suffering, from which a new structure of feeling emerged among the affected communities. Furthermore, it is argued that the identity-related consequences of the Samarco disaster were of such magnitude that the event can be conceptualized as a cultural trauma. To support these claims, the research draws upon key theoretical frameworks from the fields of Political Ecology, Sociology of Disasters, and Sociology of Culture. The methodology employed is qualitative, centered on documentary and content analysis. Specific materials analyzed include editions of the newspaper Jornal A Sirene, damage matrices produced by organizations dedicated to defending the rights of the affected individuals, and documents from the Campanha Revida Mariana. Additionally, the study incorporates considerations derived from data collected through fieldwork. By examining the memories that emerge from the ruins within mining neoextractivism, the nascent structure of feeling, the future perspectives they engender, and the degree to which the intentions, experiences, and conceptions of the affected subjects are materialized in the disputes over reparation, this research contends that these expedients are crucial for a more precise interpretation of the type, intensity, duration, and forms of damage mitigation resulting from the disaster under consideration.
