A reação de Diels-Alder de p-Benzoquinonas em versão multicomponente

Abstract

A study of the multicomponent version of the Diels-Alder reaction of para-benzoquinones has been proposed, with the idea of uniting the versatility of the reaction with the simplicity of the methodology. The key step involves the condensation of α,β-unsaturated aldehydes (R2 = H, Me and i-Pr) with primary amides (R = Me and Ph) and subsequent [4+2] cycloaddition with the para-benzoquinones (1-6).A detailed study was performed with all possible combinations of the three reagents, that is, the six para-benzoquinone dienophiles with the six dienes generated in situ.
