Letramento Estatístico: uma análise sobre a variedade dos produtos da cesta básica
Abstract
The teaching of Statistics through projects has proven necessary due to the large
number of information available in the most diverse media in our society, requiring from
each individual constituent of this environment knowledge that contributes to a correct
interpretation of these. Meeting this need is characterized by the development of
students' Statistical Literacy while working in Basic Education. The role of the teacher
in this process becomes preponderant. In this work, we propose the implementation of
a research project using the investigative cycle in the 3rd year of high school, analyzing
the variation in prices of basic food products in Sorocaba. Faced with this fact, the
development of Statistical Literacy, throughout Basic Education, is more than
necessary, as it can contribute to the correct interpretation of information. This work
will seek to use the results obtained by 3rd grade high school students on the variations
that occurred in basic food basket products throughout the years 2020, 2021 and 2022,
in what way the group's knowledge in Statistics was built throughout their lives. school
and during the development of this project will contribute to students’ statistical
thinking.
