Um olhar para experiências de projetos de exibição audiovisual em cidades do interior do Brasil: apropriação dos espaços públicos e geração de pertencimento das comunidades
Abstract
Although the distribution of national cinema has been easier with the digital revolution and with popularization of mobile devices, we are far from reaching an ideal circumstance of social inclusion of the peripheral population in this context of enjoyment. Based on this issue, this article will present the relationship between cinema and public spaces in inner cities neighborhoods located in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte , discussing how the bond of these two concepts can serve as an instrument to make culture and, more specifically, the seventh art accessible to those in whom conventional movie theaters are out of reach, through SWOT analysis and in-depth interviews of the initiatives Kurta na Kombi, Cine Educação, Cine Cidade and Cine Solar. Structural aspects such as work models, financing and operation were investigated through surveys applied to volunteers and spectators. Therefore, the present work will discuss cinema from its educational, transformative and citizenship potential, in addition to highlighting the importance of visibility for the theme, besides making public and more transparent information that can shorten ways for the emergence of new exhibition initiatives in peripheral contexts.
