Resumo
Entrepreneurship has been pointed out in literature as an important inducer of economic and social development, by creating products and services that generate wealth for a nation. However, for a locality to have entrepreneurial potential, it is necessary to observe a set of factorial allocations. In view of the above, the present work has as general objective to analyze the determinants of efficiency in generating innovative entrepreneurship in a set of municipalities in the state of São Paulo. Through the application of the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) technique, the most efficient cities were identified and, through the Tobit Regression, the degree of influence of certain inputs (Technological Parks / APLs and No. of Graduates) was performance of cities in boosting the creation of new ventures.
