The study begins with an in-depth investigation into the evolution of this sector, highlighting key milestones and influences that have shaped its trajectory. Next, the focus shifts to the Technologies Applied in Ethanol Production, examining the technological advancements that have driven efficiency and sustainability in ethanol production. Exploring the potential of sorghum as a raw material in the sugar-energy industry, the economic and environmental fronts related to the sector are discussed in depth in the section on the economic and environmental aspects of the sector. The methodology adopted in the study provides a solid approach for data collection and analysis. In the Raw Materials and Production Process section, the characteristics of sugarcane and sorghum as raw materials are discussed, along with the production process at the Flex Plant.
