Resumo
The Research, Teaching, Extension, and Culture Group on Human Activities and Occupational Therapy (AHTO) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) has a 12-year journey of working with the homeless population in the city of São Carlos, São Paulo. Using cartography as a methodology, this study aims to present a cartographic representation of the lines of force of care present in seven research-territory projects closely connected to AHTO, based on an analysis conducted through a cartographic framework—a discussion group—to construct the material. The study concludes with a mapping of gestures, processes, or perspectives on care, resulting in the development of ten lines of force (Management; Training; Objectives; City; Affectivity; Desires; Invitations; Participation; Corporeality; and Repercussions). By reflecting on the relational care between AHTO and the homeless population, it is possible to transcend these connections and consider care as a way in which Occupational Therapy is embodied to develop actions and experiences.
