Abstract

This review article aims to discuss the metabolic adaptation mechanisms of filamentous fungi, as well as their subsequent products and how environmental factors influence metabolic pathways, analyzed through metabolomic methods. Filamentous fungi are important subjects of study due to their significance as bioactive compound synthesizers, their bioremediation capabilities, and their broad applicability. This is due to the wide range of metabolites produced by fungi, making it essential to understand their functioning and the metabolic pathways involved. In this context, it is necessary to understand how environmental factors can influence the biosynthetic pathways. To achieve this, metabolomic studies were applied using analytical techniques such as NMR and LC-MS/MS.
