Desigualdade de gênero: uma análise das barreiras enfrentadas por mulheres no mercado de trabalho brasileiro

Abstract

This term paper investigates female participation in the labor market, highlighting the barriers faced by women throughout their professional careers. In a context where, despite significant progress, gender inequality persists in a structural way, this study seeks to explore the barriers women face, including the double working day, gender stereotyping, racial discrimination and harassment. The research adopts a quantitative approach, using the survey method to collect data on women's experiences in the corporate environment. The data will be analyzed in the light of contemporary theories on gender and sexism, with the aim of identifying patterns. The literature review covers fundamental concepts of gender equality and the multiple forms of discrimination that manifest themselves in the workplace.
