O contato com a hepatologia no curso de medicina na Universidade Federal de São Carlos: uma análise reflexiva

Abstract

Liver diseases, whether chronic or acute, are part of a heterogeneous group of pathologies that are present in the daily routine of doctors in any environment in the healthcare system. Therefore, it is essential for medical students to learn about these diseases and provide adequate care for these patients. Therefore, this critical- reflexive narrative seeks to demonstrate contact with Hepatology in the medicine course at the Federal University of São Carlos, identifying the strengths and indicating possible points for improvement.
