Resumo
The increase in soybean productivity in recent years has occurred as a result of the adoption of field technologies. Among the inputs used, mineral fertilizers are the most expensive. As an alternative to mineral fertilizer and to produce in organic systems, the use of animals waste as fertilizers is an alternative with environmental, economics, social agronomic interests. Thus, the objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of the application of different doses of cattle manure on the performance of soybean plants. For this, four fertilization treatments were evaluated, one with the application of 500 kg/ha of the formulated 02-29-09 NPK and three with cattle manure at different dosages (2.5, 5 and 10 t/ha). The experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design and the phenological stage, plant height, pods and grain number per plant, nodules number per plant and productivity were evaluated. Fertilization with cattle manure resulted in higher number of nodules, however with lower yields compared to mineral fertilizer. The change in phenological stages, plants, pod and grains number per plant were equivalent between the treatments, demonstrating that both providing nutrients for the crop. Organic fertilization, when carried out in different production cycles, can increase productivity to similar levels to those observed with the use of mineral fertilizer.
