Resumo
This article aims to present a reflection on anti-racist practices within the context of full-time education. First, it discusses the concept of anti-racist education, seeking to understand how educational practices focused on promoting racial equality and combating racism are incorporated into teaching models that extend school hours. Next, it introduces the concept of full-time education, arguing that it goes beyond simply increasing the number of hours spent in school, and instead represents an integration of various educational times and spaces, encouraging the holistic development of the individual.The article then analyzes studies and offers a brief reflection on the possibilities for implementing anti-racist actions, teacher training, and the valuing of ethnic and racial diversity in full-time schools. It highlights the prospects for a democratic and emancipatory education that offers all participants in the educational process a real opportunity for critical learning and racial literacy.The article presents research that addresses the implementation of anti-racist measures, teacher training, curriculum reform, and the appreciation of ethnic and racial diversity in full-time educational institutions. The methodological approach is based on a critical perspective through a bibliographic review, grounded in reflections on the true purpose of these practices. Thus, it proposes strategies for the development of an education that promotes equality and social justice in the school context.
