Abstract

This work aims at artistic innovation and the exploration of new sounds in musical performance with percussion instruments, focusing on contemporary music and the realm of extended techniques. The study investigates and analyzes the processes that enable the creation and performance of music grounded in the concept of extended techniques. The objective is to examine musical works developed within this context and to apply the concept in a composition created by the author.
