We sought to understand what is the integrated education: definition, characteristics, social and political purposes, theoretical-methodological referential and pedagogic-didactic fundamentals. The methodological proceedings was marked: on one hand, by theoretical analysis of the education and of the socialist pedagogy in the thought of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Nadezhda Krupskaya, Anatoli Lunacharsky and Antonio Gramsci, specifically on the concepts of technology education, polytechnic education and unitary school. On the other by a theoretical and documentary analysis of the legislation, other official documents and literature on the national education and the recent reforms of education, secondary school and integrated education. The study concluded that in the meanders of the integrated education this underlying a broader process of expanding the spirit of professionalization to practically all the Brazilian education system, especially for secondary school. The reform of secondary school, it happened in parallel and conditioned a professionalizing reform.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Catalisadores de MgO-SiO2 : efeito dos promotores CaO e SrO na conversão de etanol(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-05-22) Laier, Letícia Oliveira; Marques, Clélia Mara de Paula; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0451284088402660; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8081073137028934The replacement of chemical products by renewable raw materials is an important factor for the emission control of CO2. Consequently, there is a great commercial interest in the conversion of ethanol into 1,3-butadiene. The 1,3-butadiene compound is used in the production of a variety of synthetic rubbers and one important example is butadiene-styrene rubber (SBR), which is used in the production of car tires. This work studied the modification of the acid-base properties of MgO/SiO2 bifunctional catalysts and the understanding of different methodologies used in the preparation of these materials for the conversion reaction of ethanol into 1,3-butadiene. MgO/SiO2 catalysts of varying amounts of magnesia/silica were prepared by four different methods: i) precipitation followed by the mixing of the oxides in a ball mill, ii) precipitation of MgO followed by its mixing with aerosil silica in a ball mill, iii) precipitation of MgO followed by the mechanical mixing of the oxides and iv) sol-gel. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction, CO2 Temperature Programmed Desorption, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Specific Surface Area. Catalytic tests showed that the highest selectivities for 1,3 -butadiene were observed for the (MgO/SiO2) coprecipitation method and oxides mixed in a ball mill. The TPD-CO2 results demonstrate the formation of basic sites with the addition of SiO2 to MgO and the density of basic sites presents a great variation in the ratio MgO: SiO2. The catalyst MgO/SiO2 (5:1) was the most active and selective for 1,3-butadiene. The addition of CaO or SrO these catalysts have not resulted in increased selectivity for the formation of butadiene, but observed an increase in the acid properties, possibly due to non-inclusion of these oxides in MgO lattice and later the formation of basic sites of the type MgO-Mg-O-Si.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação dos efeitos associados dos inseticidas fipronil e imidacloprido sobre a mortalidade da abelha nativa Melipona scutellaris (Latreille, 1811)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-05-22) Costa, Leticia Mariano da; Nocelli, Roberta Cornélio Ferreira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8934724759636382; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4385458585239531Bees are social insects of fundamental importance to the environment, because they are responsible for pollinating more than 70% of existing agricultural crops in the world. Brazil is the country with the highest number of described species, with representatives of most families. Among representatives of the Apidae family, is the Melipona scutellaris specie, commonly known as "uruçu" or "uruçu do Nordeste”, it is easy to handling and very well adapted to the climate of the state of São Paulo. However, due to the intensive use of pesticides, native bees are suffering the consequences, because, although they are not the target of insecticides, are highly vulnerable to contamination. Among the insecticides developed in the 90s, the neonicotinoids and fipronil have been identified as the main substances involved in collapse, and were suspended in 2013 in the European Union for two years for best evaluation. These insecticides are often used simultaneously, so bees can be contaminated with both molecules. Due to this fact, the aim of this study was determine the median lethal time (LT50) of fipronil and imidacloprid insecticides separately and synergistically on forage bees of M. scutellaris. For this, was obtained only the LD50 and LC50 of imidacloprid, according to the rules of the OECD, because values of fipronil were established by Lourenço et al. (2012a, 2012b). The LD50 of imidacloprid obtained was 2.41 ng a.i. / bee (24 hours) and 1.29 ng a.i./ bee (48 hours). The LC50 value found was 2.01 ng a.i./μL diet (24 hours) and 0.81 ng a.i./μL diet (48 hours). These data indicate that M. scutellaris specie is more sensitive to the insecticide imidacloprid that A. mellifera africanized. From these values, was obtained the LT50 based on topical and oral contamination of fipronil and imidacloprid insecticides and also these substances acting together. The results showed that fipronil has LT50 greater than imidacloprid. When acted in combination to LT50 presented intermediate values between the LT50 fipronil and imidacloprid, isolated. Then, according to the values obtained, there was not synergy, but a decrease in the toxicity of imidacloprid.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Enzima conversora de angiotensina 1 : purificação, imobilização e bioconjugação(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-05-22) Almeida, Fernando Gonçalves de; Cass, Quezia Bezerra; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9197210255594409; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9535882123333210Angiotensin converting enzyme 1 (ACE1) is a dipeptidyl carboxypeptidase that converts angiotensin I (decapeptide) to a vasoconstrictor octapeptide angiotensin II. Thus, ACE presents an important role in blood pressure regulation. There are many synthetic commercially available ACE inhibitors such as captopril, lisinopril and enalapril. Due to their side effects, naturally occurring inhibitors have been prospected. In order to endorse this research field we have developed a new tool for ACE ligand screening. To this end, ACE was extracted from bovine lung, purified and chemically immobilized in modified ferrite magnetic beads (ACEMBs). The ACE-MBs have shown a Michaelian kinetic behavior towards hippurylhistidyl- leucine (HHL) and was also able to catalyze the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II. Moreover, as proof of concept, the ACE-MBs was inhibited by lisinopril with an IC50 of 10 nM. At the fishing assay, ACE-MBs were able not only to fish out the reference inhibitor, but also three peptides from a pool of tryptic digested BSA. ACE-MBs emerge as new straightforward tool for ACE kinetics determination, inhibition and binder screening.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Projeto canhão : o ensino de funções quadráticas com o auxílio do software GeoGebra(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-05-22) Cance, Cesar Augusto; Barbosa, Grazielle Feliciani; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5368292206467565; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9302417985001942This work presents the development and implementation of a didactic sequence in order to motivate and teach school students quadratic functions. To do this, we built a cannon made of tiner cans and prepared a serie of activities that have been subdivided into three phases: construction, competition and activities with the use of the software GeoGebra. The work done with students in these aroused a greater interest in the matter and was extremely valuable because students did not forget the acquired learning.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Metodologia de desenvolvimento e validação de kit imunocromatográfico adotando como modelo o teste rápido para detecção do hormônio luteinizante (LH)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-05-22) Camargo, Maria Angélica de; Thiemann, Otávio Henrique; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4933022274560322; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0154268496488966Despite the rapid tests market in Brazil being in full expansion, the country does not have a tradition of manufacturing these kits. Therefore, it is very difficult to find, in the national literature, reports to guide the development process of these kits. The lack of published reports is aggravated by the difficulty of understanding the rules and laws governing the sector and by their subjectivity. The aim of this study was to describe a methodology to develop and validate a diagnostic kit, according to prevailing regulations. For this, a self-diagnostic semiquantitative kit for detection of Luteinizing Hormone (LH), using the rapid test platform, was taken as a model and all the procedures required in each stage of the design of the product, including planning, development and validation, have been described. The kit developed complied with all established operating requirements and achieved 97.39% sensitivity and 97.92% specificity. The cross-reaction tests showed that the kit suffers interference from samples containing hCG, due to the high similarity of beta chains of the hormones. Despite this fact, the performance of the test was better than the performance of the kit available in the market today. Based on the results obtained, we conclude that the procedures presented, which comply with the management standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2004 and also with the Good Manufacturing Practices of the RDC 16/2013, were effective in obtaining the kit and may be used as a model for management and development of similar projects within companies operating in the diagnostic market.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Fatores críticos de sucesso e estágios da maturidade da gestão do conhecimento: um estudo na Embrapa(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-05-22) Escrivão, Giovana; Silva, Sérgio Luis da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4164265591178698; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6129382416041867The purpose of this dissertation is to relate the critical success factors to the stages of the knowledge management maturity through a empirical study. Some knowledge management maturity model were developed over the past decade, but they are incomplete, does not perform a systematic conceptual identification of the factors that should compose the model and, in most cases have a lack of empirical evidences. Consequently, there are gaps to be filled in order to develop a more complete model. Through systematic review of the literature, the critical success factors of knowledge management maturity models were compared to the critical success factors cited by knowledge management literature. The relation between these factors and the knowledge management stages were tested by empirical research. The collect data instrument was developed with assistance of knowledge management and statistics expertise’s. The Embrapa – Brazilian Enterprise for Agricultural Research was the object of this study. Embrapa is a public institution that has the aim of develops technologies, knowledge and technique and scientific information about Brazilian agriculture and livestock. The selection of the organization was guided by importance of the institution as national reference on innovation and development of new products and technology, issues deeply related to knowledge management. The data collection involved all leadership and management positions of all Decentralized Units from Embrapa, representing a population of 180 respondents from 46 organizations, with a return rate of 67,7%. The data was analyzed through descriptive statistics, linear regression techniques, Fisher’s exact test and polytomous logistic regression. As main result, among others, we could characterize the critical success factors in knowledge management stages and identify associations between these variables (critical success factors and knowledge management stages), showing, for example, that the technology and the top management support have an important role, mainly, at the second stage.
