Using dereplication strategies, we identified antibiotic compounds as modified fatty acids, which are closely related to oxylipins. The biosynthesis of these compounds could be related with the presence of endophytic bacteria. Thus, we established axenic cultures of A. brasiliana and developed methods for detection and quantification of bacterial cells in plant tissues. We also performed initial re-inoculation experiments with endophytic bacteria isolated from A. brasiliana. In addition, method for quantification of phytohormones and oxylipins in plant tissues were developed. The results reinforced the correlation between both the amount of bacteria and oxylipins in A. brasiliana tissues.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Versões do teorema de Tverberg e aplicações(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Poncio, Carlos Henrique Felicio; Santos, Edivaldo Lopes dos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2167472456497730; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0586025009602968In this work, we will use topological methods in combinatorics and geometry to present a proof of the topological Tverberg theorem and a result about many Tverberg partitions.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Narrativas de amor e luta : a constituição da oficialidade da monogamia e a luta contra a subjugação das mulheres(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Freitas, Monique Amaral de; Miotello, Valdemir; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9131819326282708; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1566872227572381In this dissertation it proposes to understand how is discursively constituted the relationship between monogamy and the subjugation of women. For that, it bases the theoretical assumptions developed by the Bakhtin Circle, guiding me in a dialogical perspective of language. In addition, over the analysis it establishes a link between the feminist theories of Simone de Beauvoir (1949/2015), Heleieth Saffioti (1996/2015), Ivone Reimer (2005), among others. Firstly, it analyzes how the official status of monogamy is constituted in the discourses of social institutions, here defined as the Church, the State and the media. In order to think the Christian religious discourse, it analyzes passages from the Holy Bible and the leaders' statements from the Catholic, Evangelical and Pentecostal denominations about marriage and the affective-sexual relationships. Regarding the State, it discusses through the Federal Constitution and two Law Projects how family and marriage are defined. Posteriorly, through discussion of some media products, especially the films Snow White (1938) and Fifty Shades of Grey (2015), it discusses how the media constitute monogamy as the official discourse. In the second chapter, it discusses historical data provided by the work História do amor no Brazil (2005/1015), by Mary Del Priore, and documents produced by the feminist movement of the second wave, to understand how the discursive changes in the official models of affective-sexual relationships changes the women's lives. In the third and last chapter, it discusses how is constituted the relationship among affective-sexual relationships models and the domination of women using three texts of self-described feminist blogs. After discussing the texts, it concludes that monogamy is constituted as a way of subjugating women because it has incorporated male domination into the core of it's official discourse. Therefore, the relationship between the discursive constitution of the official status of affective-sexual relationship models and female subjugation is related to the discourse of male domination, not the monogamy itself.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, No “chão” da universidade : o ensino superior de música na perspectiva intercultural(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Galizia, Fernando Stanzione; Lima, Emília Freitas de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5515637339275988; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4007795540173093This study is about Music Higher Education and it aims to answer the following question: what are the possibilities and limits of a music theory subject according to the principles of Critical and Intercultural Education? The general purpose of this research is to investigate possibilities and limits of social and educational practices that overcome the traditional teaching paradigm still prevailing in Music Higher Education, in an Intercultural direction. Based on the qualitative paradigm, this study is an intervention research that falls within the practitioner research movement. Data were built through semi structured observations in Language and Musical Structure subject, which is mandatory for the Music Education Course of the Federal University of São Carlos. The main theoretical principles are based on studies by Candau (2012a), as well as by other authors such as McLaren (2000), Pérez Gómez (1994), Hall (1997) and Santos (2002; 2014), among others. Data were analyzed from three broad categories, according to the intercultural education concept map (CANDAU, 2010; 2012e). They are: social and educational practices; knowledge; and subjects and actors. The conclusions show that university music professors must question the usual music teaching dynamics, which are monocultural and based on frontal and conservatory teaching models. It was also possible to conclude that university music professors must affirm the plurality of possible truths in the musical knowledge, which shall not be reduced to a certain cultural universe. Finally, by means of the valorization of multiple languages, medias and cultural expressions, it was possible to strengthen the students’ identities within the reach of only one subject, promoting empowerment, emancipation and autonomy processes, valuing differences and promoting equality.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Firmes nos propósitos : etnografia da internação de usuários de drogas em comunidades terapêuticas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Nunes, Matheus Caracho; Feltran, Gabriel de Santis; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6789864439048444; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2042381477653204Currently, therapeutic communities (TCs), play a key role in crack users management and other drugs under the current public policies. Against this background, this research focuses three therapeutic communities of diferent regions in Brazil. Two located in medium-sized cities in the interior of the state of São Paulo and another in a medium-sized city in the interior of the state of Pernambuco. This dissertation presents the descriptive objective of demonstrating the internal dynamics of these therapeutic communities. Unfolds this two objectives: i) know the practices and results of the therapies used; ii) know the profile of inmates, employees and operators, above all, to know the daily life inside them. As a result, the therapeutic communities researched intend to create conditions for the change of subjects that are considered as addicts, proposing (re) creating the conditions of social interaction of subjects through activities centered on the axes of spirituality, work and discipline. They contribute, therefore, to the perpetuation of an individual and guilty perspective of the drug question. The text is supported by ethnographic work that includes: i) interspersed visits made since 2012; ii) immersion in the field performing three periods of fifteen days one in each institution.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Experiências e sentido da participação juvenil na contemporaneidade: um estudo do Levante Popular da Juventude na cidade de Sorocaba-SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Vigentin, Rafael; Corrochano, Maria Carla; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7714353975585252; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1115148962522913This paper analyzes the participations ways in a social movement of young people in Sorocaba city. It aims to contribute to the discussions about the young people participation and to reflect about educational respect processes that occur in these spaces. The research has been taken place for two years and it was used qualitative method, and it was observed the young people relation with the movement and the movement with the city. The bibliographic research is based on, specially, authors that study about sociology during the youth, bringing back the historical construction what youth is about, the relation between young people and society, the social representation and their attitude as social and historical subjects. It was analyzed the relation of young people with the politics, the difficulties about being recognized as political authors and some of their main actions through the history. It was done an analyze about the most present participation ways, considering, mainly, in the new collective actions, that assume characteristics of more fluid and horizontal organization, in nets and with strong dialogue with cultural aspects. We present a brief story about the Levante Popular no Brasil, the context and how it begot, its structure of organization and its main actions through the country, followed by the story of the movement in Sorocaba city, describing its main acts, its working dynamic, but also its conflicts and contradictions. Finally, We tried to understand the participation sense, analyzing its life trajectory, the coming to the political life and the relation of the young people with the movement, noticing that the sense of participating of a social movement is not only presented by ideological politics, but by the movement of constituting a space for friendship, construction of identities and sociability.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Milho consorciado com guandu-anão em diferentes arranjos de plantas em sistema orgânico(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Gallo, Anderson de Souza; Fontanetti, Anastácia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3598362104615834; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2414115508284005The corn is among the crops produced more in intercropping systems, mainly due to its architecture and ecophysiology. The objective of the study was to evaluate the growth, productivity and nutritional status of maize in intercropping with dwarf pigeon pea in different arrangements of plants. The study was conducted in the experimental area of Center of Agricultural Sciences, Federal University of São Carlos, Araras, SP, in a soil classified as Oxisoil, clayey. The experimental lineation was a randomized block design with six treatments and four replications. The treatments consisted of different arrangements of dwarf pigeon pea in consortium with corn: corn alone; dwarf pigeon pea sown in row planting corn; a line of planted dwarf pigeon pea in corn leading; two rows of dwarf pigeon pea sown between rows of corn; dwarf pigeon pea sown in lines and lines of corn and dwarf pigeon pea sown in line and two lines between the rows of corn. The growth of corn plants was not affected by consortia adopted. The arrangement with dwarf pigeon pea sown in line and two lines between the rows of corn increased leaf nitrogen content in maize plants compared to other arrangements and corn alone. As for the foliar potassium and calcium were higher in corn alone and treatment with dwarf pigeon pea sown in row planting corn. Corn consortia with the dwarf pigeon pea sown in line and two lines between the rows had grain yield higher than other arrangements and maize grown in monoculture.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Caracterização e discussão da produção científica de uma instituição de ensino superior privada(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Vidotti, Maikon Venicius; Faria, Leandro Innocentini Lopes de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0767710394930118; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8356033734534499To analyze the scientific production of the professors of a private institution of higher education, some variables can be identifyed and discussions can be developed. To this end it is necessary to understand the professional profile of professors who work at the institution, object of study, and the Lattes platform proves to be the most effective tool to collect information about these professionals. The Lattes platform is the main scientific information system in Brazil, integrating academic curricula of public and private institutions in a single platform, allowing management of curricular information of institutions and researchers. But the platform does not perform automated compilation of data from certain groups. Thus, it was use the ScriptLattes tool, which synthesizes in simplified form potential indicators to demonstrate the relationship not just a group of researchers, but different groups of interest. In examining the Group of professors from the institution used as a case study in this work (UNI_X), can be noted interesting indicators of professional as well as academic characterization; at the same time the scientific literature produced by these professors, whether in the institution itself or in other institutions, where vast majority owned or has bond in graduate programs. Updating of curricula, as well as the correct completion of data on its platform, are proving to be an important indicator as well as the correlation between the published works and without mention of the institution in which these are employee. So we tried to raise discussions on the topic, for better understanding and the deepening about the problem. In this way, an analysis was performed of the professors of a top private institution, through some indicators and, among them, the scientific production. This analysis enabled the development of discussions on the importance of scientific production for private institutions, because it is believed that most of these teachers do not mention the institution in scientific works. In addition, some approaches have been raised through rankings and discussions of the STS field, generating reflections on the subject.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estudo de indicadores de estresse em Brycon amazonicus (matrinxã) exposto a deltametrina (Keshet®)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Soares, Camila Aparecida Pigão; Borra, Ricardo Cordeiro; Moraes, Gilberto; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4427903557163246; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3543014238553130In the last 40 years, the use of pesticides increased 700% in Brazil, setting this country into the very consumers of this kind of chemicals in the world. There among the most used pesticides in Brazil are the pyrethroids, a class of insecticides largely used for the stability to light rays and being not accumulated in the trophic chain. Deltamethrin is a pyrethroid classified as moderately toxic and it may work as endocrine disruptor. It is widely used in the farms and preserving stocked foods. Pyrethroids are low toxic to mammals and birds. Although, new studies pointed out their noxiousness to aquatic organisms such as fishes. The high toxicity of pyrethroids to fishes may be related to damages caused to nervous system and to their mechanisms of biochemical degradation. Biomarkers are a way of monitoring the pesticides effects on the environments. Among them, cholinesterases and metabolites such as glucose, cortisol and lactate can be used. In the present monography is reported a work carried out in vivo with matrinxa exposed to deltamethrin (Keshet®) at 20, 40 and 60% of CL50:96h for 96 hours, and other in vitro with matrinxa exposed to the analytical formulation of deltamethrin (Pestanal®). After the pesticide exposure, fish were anesthetized, blood was withdrawn and then the fish were killed for brain, liver, gut, gills and white muscle excision. From the observations we can say that glucose, protein and ammonia were increased in liver, and amino acids and ammonia were increased in plasma. The glycogen bulks of liver and plasma lactate were decreased. In white muscle, protein and amino acids levels were decreased, and ammonia, glucose and lactate increased. Concerning the studied enzymes, it was observed inhibition of brain AChE in vivo and in vitro activities while CbE was inhibited in the gills and gut but increased in white muscle and plasma. The enzyme activities of ALAT and ASAT increased in liver and LDH activity was reduced. Therefore, we may conclude that matrinxa presented metabolic changes in order to supply the energetic demand caused by deltamethrin poisoning. The inhibition of AChE was observed, as expected, in addition to CbE increase, showing the activation of mechanisms to degrade deltamethrin. It is possible to assert that Brycon amazonicus exposed to deltamethrin is biochemically responsive to the poisoning using adaptive strategies which enable it to escape from toxic effects of a contaminated environment by such xenobiotic.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Desenvolvimento da ideia de sensibilidade em Diderot: o sonho de d'Alembert e o paradoxo sobre o comediante(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Camargo, David Ferreira; Nascimento, Luís Fernandes dos Santos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3654785629696808; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7017957541758008listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Memórias de mulheres do movimento estudantil: participação, gênero e educação(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Silva, Mayris de Paula; Mendonça, Viviane Melo de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4827331651090223; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0454812674193097The present work aims to analyze the memory of women who acted in the student movement in 1990, conceiving each one of them as a historical, political and social subject. It was a main goal of this work to understand the women participation during the History in a student movement configured by a hierarchical and sexist environment in which the women’s struggle to survive inside spaces they are oppressed configure a process of reinvention of themselves. The methodology developed during this work is based on reports given to us during four interviews conducted with women that had participated in the student movement in the past. Themain themes discussed in these interviews were: Women Participation, Gender and Education. The reported memories gave visibility for the political context of the 90’s, covering from the universities to the student movement as a whole and its relation withsociety. The whole set of considerations about women actuation inside and out of the student movement given to us, were not only capable of covering questions about gender and diversity but also to show all the questions that emerge from those memories. The conclusion is that the collected testimonials from the practical and subjective experiences in the student movement came to show that the re-inventions contemporary women have been through in their daily life were somehow led by those experiences. Women participation in the public world can bring a variety of themes to public discussion, but specially values and questions that go against men’s order of things, or a sexist order of things, because when women start to understand their role in History theystart to be visible, breaking the silence of their own existence. It occurs when women are included in History.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, "Apanhando desperdícios" ou "Contra o desperdício da experiência": cartografia de coletivos em busca de educação emancipatória no município de Sorocaba(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) José, Caio Rennó; Ferreira, Dulcinéia de Fátima; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9339578170693084; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4470357613671695Our studies are characterized by the analysis of the production of resigned/reified/individualistic subjectivity as a product deliberated by the capitalist power dynamics that, by the control's reinventions, decrease life and dehumanize relationships between people and people with nature. The discussions that have been realized highlight the subjectivity, social life organization and educational processes which curb the production of singular/rebel subjectivities. However, we understand at the same time the control mechanisms deepen, the resistances have also reinvented themselves. We highlight disruptive aspects among a power dynamics that captures the creation potential in our daily routine and in the common's production. We have found horizontal organizations, themes, informals and collectives that have been acting micropolitically and opening gaps in a scenario that is reverse to life's expantion. This investigation's snippet has been done as a cartography of the collectives that are searching for an emancipatory education in Sorocaba-SP, Brazil, willing to comprehend their dynamics and organization modes, besides their educative aspects, that produce rebel subjectivities inherent to the experience with the collective actions participation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Efeitos da vulnerabilidade social : notas sobre o cotidiano de trabalho em um CRAS na cidade de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Breda, Roselene de Lima; Feltran, Gabriel de Santis; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6789864439048444; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4783731017963616This thesis will cover the government change in the emphasis of the social policies, regarding the overcoming of the sociopolitical conflict, dislocated to its management and control. Using as empirical site of analysis the interactions that processes during the routine of the Campo Limpo CRAS unity, located at the city of São Paulo, and through an ethnographic field research, this work will seek more than a institutional shape, but evidence the day-by-day practical activities of the Brazilian Social Assistance Policy from the contact of the implementer technicians and its users. This writing aim to study the conception of the Brazilian Social Assistance Policy and how it operates in practical senses at the CRAS unity of Campo Limpo at its basic level, from the articulation and handling the notion of social vulnerability by its operators and which effects raise up from it. Also, this study researches the processes that the order is being disputed, the space that is being rebuilded and the National State that is reproducing its categories of legitimacy at the urban peripheries.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Caracterização e análise de expressão dos genes das enzimas Arginase 1, Arginase 2 e Óxido Nítrico Sintase Induzível (iNOS) de Piaractus mesopotamicus em resposta à infecção por Aeromonas dhakensis(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Carriero, Mateus Maldonado; Maia, Antonio Augusto Mendes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7402222435077942; Silva, Flávio Henrique da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1757309852446263; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0419446342303296The main goal of the present work was to perform an expression analysis of the Arg1, Arg2 and iNOS genes in the liver, anterior kidney and spleen of pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus) in 4 different times post-infection, in response to the experimental infection with the bacterium Aeromonas dhakensis. The strain used in the present study was isolated from a specimen of P. mesopotamicus from the CEPTA/ICMBio in Pirassununga – SP, characterized by biochemical tests using the VITEK 2 automated identification system, and identified as belonging to the genus Aeromonas. Further molecular analyses of the 16S rRNA, gyrB and rpoD genes showed that the isolated strain belonged to the species A. dhakensis, a species that had never been reported in South America. This strain was resistant to the antibiotics ampicillin, ampicillin/sulbactam, cefoxitin and meroponem, with a high virulence level against experimentally infected pacus, causing clinical signs of acute hemorrhagic septicemia. The fifty per cent lethal dose (LD50) was 1.1 × 105 CFU/fish. Once characterized, this A. dhakensis strain was used in the infection experiments in P. mesopotamicus in order to analyze the expression of the Arg1, Arg2 and iNOS genes. These genes were sequenced and, from the partial sequences, P. mesopotamicus specific primers were designed for the quantitative real time PCR (qPCR) expression analyses. Following the infection with A. dhakensis, the Arg1 gene expression levels decreased in the kidney 24 h post-infection; the Arg2 gene expression of reduced in the liver at 12 h and 24 h post-infection and increased in the spleen at 24 h and 48 h post-infection; the gene expression of iNOS was significantly increased in she spleen at 12 h, 24 h, and 48 h post-infection. The results of the present study showed that the Arg2 and iNOS genes were the most variable in response to the A. dhakensis infection, indicating that these are involved in the initial immune response to bacterial infections in P. mesopotamicus. The organ that was most involved in this response was the spleen, which showed the highest levels of variation in these genes after the challenge. This is the first study assessing the expression levels of the Arg1, Arg2 and iNOS genes in P. mesopotamicus following the infection with A. dhakensis, providing a valuable contribution for the understanding of the immune response mechanisms against bacterial pathogens in this important South American fish species.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Um ambiente, tantas verdades : estudo sociológico dos discursos científicos sobre a represa do Lobo/Broa(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Campregher, Raiza; Martins, Rodrigo Constante; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6617183095074852; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5006562438115576The emergence of the environmental issues, from the 1960s, represented significant changes in the way societies perceive the environment, in particular through the process of politicization of nature. In this sense, the present work understands the modern environmental issues as a social construction disputed through the production of discourses about the environment. Thus, it aims to comprehend the production of scientific discourses about Lobo/Broa dam, as well as its specific effects of power. Lobo/Broa dam, in São Paulo state, is a small reservoir for hydroelectric energy production, also used for recreation, and as a lab for research on ecology and hydraulic engineering. The research hypothesis lays on the idea that scientific discourse about the reservoir’s environment works as “truth”, exerting the effects of power associated with this condition. The methodology of the research consists in case study and qualitative methods of social research, including bibliographic and documentary research and semi-structured interviews.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Programa “Vida na Comunidade” para familiares de jovens com deficiência intelectual(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Zutião, Patricia; Almeida, Maria Amélia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0316944549621648; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0128895328177900This research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the "Community Life Program" for parents/family in order to promote independence in life activities in the community for young people with Intellectual Disabilities. Participants were four young people with intellectual disabilities aged 19-29 years who formed dyads with their family member. The research took place in two cities in São Paulo State, Brazil, in community places near the residence of these young people. With dyads 1 and 3 it was worked shopping activities and with the dyads 2 and 4 it was worked activities related to moving around community. It was employed the intermittent multiple baseline design across subjects to verify the effects of program implementation and to demonstrate the validity of experimental control and manipulation of the study variables. The independent variable was introduced at different moments for participants. The dependent variable was analyzed before, during and after the implementation of the program. The “Community Life Program” was employed based in theoretical and practical intervention sessions. In the theoretical sessions it was used instructional material to assist parents/family members during the sessions and also in the absence of the researcher. The practice sessions were recorded and analyzed by the observation protocol. The results showed that, when the intervention was started with the implementation of the program, parents/family started demonstrating more appropriate responses, which favored the learning of young people with intellectual disabilities, which increased the percentage of independence in performing the activities. These results were maintained over time in all dyads and generalized to other contexts in dyads 1, 2 and 4. The dyad 3 did not perform generalization sessions due to non-availability of the mother. The good performance achieved by the participants may have been possible due to changing environmental contingencies provided from the implementation of the "Community Life in the program." It is noteworthy that teaching the activity for each of the young people provided learning in various skills that generalized to other functional activities. This study presents contributions on the implementation of a program to assist parents / family in education of young people with intellectual disabilities, especially with regard to the teaching of adaptive activities in the "Community Life" to promote the inclusion and participation in society and improve quality of life.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Prática social lazer de um grupo de mulheres do Jardim Panorama - Rio Claro – SP : processos educativos decorrentes(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Cunha Júnior, Silvino Marques da; Gonçalves Junior, Luiz; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1324174147128430; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7344564906498915This study was developed in Multisport Jardim Panorama Gym, outlying district of the city of Rio Claro, in the state of São Paulo, with a group of twelve women who meet weekly for exercise, hiking, play and chat in leisure enjoyment context. The research had as main objective to characterize and educational processes triggered this group of women. It justified this study because leisure is a theme present in our society, but linked to financial and economic factors, leaving your background essence. The methodological approach used was qualitative research based on phenomenology. Therefore, we were held thirteen meetings on site, from the second half of 2015. From these meetings were held in notes field diaries, following performed data analysis procedure inspired by phenomenology, through the phenomenological reduction and construction of nomothetic matrix, in which the following categories were constructed: a) quality of life valuation, which was evident from the living, care and attention of one towards the other, the appreciation of the quality of life; B) Engagement and struggle, in which the engagement of the group was perceived by the commitment to a combined and charges for other and through this engagement strive for personal improvement, the group and the community in which they operate; C) Understandings about leisure, they present the understanding of the group of women about their leisure and experiences about leisure possibilities in the city. From the study, we can consider that triggered educational processes were learning and care of one towards the other, the maturing of political consciousness, the different forms of leisure enjoyment, affection and sensitivity, collective work, respect and solidarity with the other, as well as the researcher's learning with this group of women with joy and humor, even in bad weather, radiated attention, care and loveliness, favoring our humanization, our Being More.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A formação graduada de terapeutas ocupacionais para o cuidado na atenção primária à saúde no estado de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Silva, Rodrigo Alves dos Santos; Oliver, Fátima Corrêa; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1370450030646953; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8163060492696079It is essential the debate between the formation of the occupational therapist and the Primary Health Care (PHC), both around theoretical and methodological frameworks, such as the pursuit of specific tasks and actions of occupational therapy, since the scientific contributions in this field have little detail for training and professional practice. In this sense, the objective of this study was to describe and analyze the graduate training of occupational therapists to care PHC in higher education institutions in the state of São Paulo. The research has a qualitative approach, exploratory-descriptive and document type. Participated in this investigation, 8 coordinators, 17 teachers and 69 students of 9 occupational therapy courses in the state of São Paulo. Data were built during the interviews, conversation circles and study of institutional documents. Therefore, we used the interview scripts, talk wheel and document analysis. The data were analyzed through thematic categorization. With regard to data obtained from the documents and coordinators, curriculum components were identified, the heterogeneity of curricular designs, the time that PHC is addressed in the training and the number of teachers involved in the teaching of PHC. The data built with the teachers corresponded to five themes: I - vocational training and academic trajectory of occupational therapists teachers in PHC; II - training activities in the fields of education, research and extension, teaching methodologies and essential theoretical content training for PHC; III - Monitoring of students in practical training services and their management mode; IV - care prospects in PHC and care of occupational therapists in PHC: V - contributions to training; the support offered; the powers, the challenges and the changes necessary for focused training for PHC. The construction of the data with the students resulted in four thematic categories: I - knowledge of PHC; II - curricular components and essential content training for care in PHC; III - students concepts about the care of occupational therapists in PHC; IV - Training for PHC, challenges and necessary changes. Through the analysis of these data, it was found that the occupational therapy courses there are theoretical and practical curriculum components of PHC related understanding design on daily life, the territory, intersectoral action and the different individual care strategies and collective to facilitate access to rights through social policies and health care and, thus, support the construction of paths of participation of people in different walks of life. Thus, the construction process of fieldwork and reflections brought about by the study allowed us to analyze the formation processes of occupational therapy have promoted at least a critical professional with specific knowledge, available to be in the PHC and perform a specific job and staff in order to contribute to the development of skilled care to the population.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Influência do grupo carboxílico na atividade citotóxica e na interação de novos complexos de rutênio com DNA e HSA(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Araujo Neto, João Honorato de; Batista, Alzir Azevedo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6469642481998660; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3415730412834731The purpose of this work is evaluate how the position of a free carboxyl group can affect the interaction with DNA and HSA, and the cytotoxic profile against tumor and normal cells and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, for a set of complexes of ruthenium (II) derived for the 2,3; 2,4; 2,5, and 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acids. We show the synthesis, characterization and evaluation of biological properties of five new compounds with general formula [Ru(N-O)(dppb)(bipy)]PF6, where: N-O = 2,3-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (2,3); 2,4-pyridinedicarboxylic (2,4); 2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (2,5); 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (2,6) and 2-carboxy-4-ethoxycarbonyl-pyridine acid (2,4e); dppb = 1,4-bis-diphenylphosphinobutane and bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine. The complex containing the ligand 2,4e was synthesized through esterification from the complex containing the ligand 2,4 and the complex [Ru(pic)(dppb)(bipy)]PF6 (pic = picolinic acid) was synthetized to compare the biological results. All compounds were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (1D - 31P(1H), 1H, 13C(1H) and 2D - DEPT-135, COSY and HSQC) cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse, elemental analysis, molar conductance, UV-vis and infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. DNA interaction studies carried by viscosity measurements, spectrophotometric titration and square-wave voltammetry do not evidence interactions between the compounds containing the ligands 2,3; 2,4; 2,5 and 2,6 and the DNA. We attribute this to the repulsion among the carboxyl free groups (as carboxylate groups at the working pH) and the DNA phosphate groups. In contrast, the compounds containing the ligands pic and 2,4e interacted with DNA showing interaction constants around 103 from the spectrophotometric titration; do not changing the DNA viscosity and decreasing the current and potential of the redox couple Ru(II)/Ru(III), characteristic responses of electrostatic interactions. In the interaction studies with HSA, through fluorometric titrations, the compounds containing the ligands 2,3; 2,4; 2,5 and 2,6 exhibit interaction constants (Kb) in the order of 104-106, while the compounds with pic and 2,4e ligands showed weaker interactions (aprox. 103). For all cases, the interaction mechanism is static and are involved hydrophobic forces. Cytotoxicity was availed in two tumor cell lines from breast cancer (MDA-MB-231 and MCF7), one tumor cell line from lung cancer (A549) and one healthy cell line from normal chinese hamster fibroblast (V79). The complex containing free carboxyl do not show cytotoxicity against any of the tested cells, since the complex containing the pic or 2,4e ligands were active, displaying IC50 values in the order of 5,1 µM and 3,4 of selectivity índex (MCF7), a significant lower value in contrast to cisplatin. In tests anti-Mycobacterium tuberculosis, only compounds containing ligands pic and 2,4 were active, showing MIC values lower than ethambutol, first-line drug used to treat tuberculosis. Partition coefficients denote a low lipophilicity for all the compounds containing the free carboxylic group, behavior that can explain the cytotoxic profiles obtained.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Programa de transição para a vida adulta de jovens com deficiência intelectual em ambiente universitário(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-25) Lopes, Betania Jacob Stange; Almeida, Maria Amélia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0316944549621648; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9395659287804955The higher education is increasingly a prerequisite for independence aiming for adulthood of young people today. Researchers have pointed out the importance of participation of young people with intellectual disability (ID) in this level of education so that they have better quality of life as adults. In this context, the general main purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of a Transitional Program for Adult Life in University Environment which aims to provide learning experiences for young people’s lives with ID. In order to make this study effective, it was implemented the Programa Próximos Passos (Next Steps Program), a transitional program for adult life in university environment at a University Center in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas (MRC), State of São Paulo. The study involved: four students with ID (two males and two females), aged between 18 and 26 years; nine teachers of special subjects and eighteen teachers of regular subjects from the University Center; and thirty-two tutors, higher education volunteer students, aged between 18 and 44 years. The study was characterized as experimental research, and, in order to make the aims effective, the following data collect tools were used: Support Intensity Scale (SIS); Field Diary Protocol; Activity Performance Registration Protocol for AB design and Mobile Criterion with Baseline and Interventions; and Social Validity questionnaire, which aimed to analyze the perceptions of teachers and tutors in the degree of satisfaction and importance of the program to increase the independence of the students with ID in higher education. Data were analyzed considering the performance of the participants in the Baseline Steps and Interventions of the experimental study. The results indicated that there was a gradual increase in the process of independence of the students with ID in higher education, with higher performance of activities relating to special subjects (learning throughout the life, employment, activities of daily living and social life) followed by academic subjects. The four students who participated in the program maintained the level of independence in the minimum average expected or above during the interventions performed on special subjects. In regular subjects, three of the four participating students remained at the minimum expected average or above, and only one student had difficulties in academic settings. These aspects were worked by teachers of special and regular subjects along with students with ID, with the help of tutors. Thus, this study showed possibilities for students with ID participate in programs in university environment. Because it is a very little-explored area on the national perspective, it is suggested further research in the area, as well as training programs for teachers and tutors aimed at promoting academic repertoire of students with ID in the university environment.
