This research investigated the criteria that were used in the search for loving and/or sexual partners between men in two different periods: (a) by the Lampião da Esquina newspaper that was in circulation before the break out of the HIV-AIDS epidemic and the advent of the Internet (b) after the epidemic and expansion of the commercial Internet through the Hornet® web application. Therefore, the research was established at two certain moments: (1) through the Lampião da Esquina newspaper, circulated in Brazil when censorship was relaxed by the military regime in the sections "troca-troca" (partner swapping) and “cartas na mesa” ("cards on the table" similar to an advice column) from April, 1978 to June, 1981 and (2) based on an analysis of the profiles currently sought by the Hornet® web application, which had ages and residence equivalent to those found in the newspaper advertisements. As a specific aim, we analysed what changed in terms of loving, sexual and personal expectations among men who sought other men; how the search for loving and/or sexual partners began to affect desires, market, work, leisure and forms of subjectivation with new collective ideas. To do this, we investigated the following considering descriptions published in the respective sections (a) and web application (b), the intersected cleavages in the search (race, ethnicity, generation, social class, education and location), as well as the processes, mediations, break-ups and dilemmas that modulated loving and sexual expectations, above all, by the centrality of sex appeal and body as elements imbued by emerging socioeconomic and cultural characteristics. The research presents a multi-method design and therefore combines quantitative and qualitative techniques using documentary analysis and online profiles, integrating statistical controls using the SPSS package. In order to construct the theoretical reflection intended, references were made to digital media, gender and sexuality. From the results, the research allowed to recognize a process of intensification of the selection of partners from the second moment, keeping continuities and ruptures in relation to the descriptors of the first moment, as well as the emergence of a grammar of the desire that alludes to the sexual panic of AIDS in sociological terms.

O comportamento altruísta no jogo da partilha invertido
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-03-06) Zin, Gabriela de Oliveira; Goyos, Antônio Celso de Noronha; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3407008711535651; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5065705422068851
Economic games are useful as experimental models of complex social interaction situations such as altruism. These games are important because they allow you to analyze the variables involved in people's decision making. However, the definition of altruism under the behavioral perspective is still imprecise, which hampers experimental control, with respect to both stimuli control, and with respect to response and reinforcement parameters. The present study sought to review the conceptual literature on the topic of altruism, seeking to elucidate the construction of this concept in Behavior Analysis and then propose an inverted model of the Sharing Game based on a conceptual refinement on the operationalization of altruism. Both the Inverted Sharing Game and the Traditional Sharing Game (Kennelly & Fantino, 2007) require participants to choose between two different amounts of money, one larger and one smaller for themselves and an anonymous participant. However, in the Sharing Game when the participant chooses the highest amount for himself, he ends up making an even bigger amount available to the other participant, and when he chooses the lowest amount of money for himself, he makes available to the other an even smaller amount. The Inverted Sharing Game, on the other hand, operates the opposite way, that is, when the participant chooses the largest amount of money for himself, provides a smaller amount to the second participant and, if he chooses the smallest amount for himself, the Another participant earns a larger amount. In a cross-subject design, experiments involving repeated attempts were made with twenty opportunities in which the participants chose how to distribute the resources between themselves and a passive participant. Two hundred participants were equally distributed under four conditions, one of which was the exposure to the Sharing Game, another to the Inverted Sharing Game, and the other two conditions were a junction between the two models presented in different orders. The experiment demonstrated that the number of self-controlled responses evoked by the Sharing Game is greater when compared to the Inverted Sharing Game, in addition to suggesting that there is an order effect of one game over the other. The study has social and scientific importance while presenting two experimental models to study the phenomenon of generosity or altruism, of particular interest in the scope of cooperation, its social importance and the survival of the species.

The proposal of this research is to collect and analyze the variability of social representations about transsexuality that circulate on the internet according to the trans people themselves. The research was based on the dynamics of use that trans people make of certain digital media, specifically social networks and blogs, as a source of information, sharing, debate and socialization. Therefore, I used the online observation of blogs, pages/communities of Facebook and Youtube channels, wich are constituted as spaces of circulation of speeches about transsexuality. In dialogue with Queer Theory, Gender studies, and other digital media researches I explore the relationship between representations, corporalities, subjectivities as the transsexuality involve a cultura dynamic which is associated with modes of understand/modify bodies and subjectivities.

During the pre-election period of the presidential election in 2014, the news and commentaries about the political campaigns of the presidential candidates portrayed aggressive speeches in debates, on social media, in television campaigns, and even on official websites. This occurred both in the first round of the election and in the second, however, in a fierce dispute for winning the presidency, the second round between the President Dilma Rousseff (PT) and the former Senator Aécio Neves (PSDB) was marked by confrontation, characterized as aggressive and heated. It is important to emphasize that these news and comments about the aggressiveness of the campaign are also discursive constructions, present an impression that attest to an increase in aggressiveness, reason why we cannot consider them as a presupposition and a starting point for analysis. However, the constant reproduction of discourses that characterize the campaign of 2014 as aggressive, already constitutes a pertinent indicator for analysis of what was understood as insult, aggression. Other important issues that drive us to look at this campaign are the change in the organization of television debates - direct interaction between the candidates, positioned face to face -, the intensification of the use of social networks, as well as the candidates' official sites, among other aspects that would favour a possible increase of the aggressiveness or the production of a greater visibility of what is considered aggressive. Given the peculiarities of the organization and functioning of the mediums (debates, sites, social networks and blogs) in this campaign, and the emergence of discourses that characterize it as aggressive, we attempt to analyze the discourse said aggressive, trying to understand its formulation and materialization in the political discourse through the resources of irony, theme selection, derisive speech, swearing, gestures, tone of speech, allusion, among others. What would be the aggressive, bitter, disrespectful discourse? How does it materialize in political discourse? Guided by these research questions and based on the theory of French Discourse analysis, we propose the analysis of televised political debates, images that circulated in social networks (Facebook, Blogs), as well as on the official websites of the campaigns, during the pre-election period, with the goal of understanding, currently, the production and circulation of the discourse so-called aggressive in Brazil.
