listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Alinhamento entre prioridades estratégicas competitivas e de produção: um estudo exploratório no polo de calçados infantis de Birigui-SP.(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-20) Carvalho, Glauco José de; Alves Filho, Alceu Gomes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7885557554922569; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6363001321523726Thinking about organizational strategies today is not an easy task, either because of the complexity of the scenarios presented or because of the multiplicity of approaches present in the vast literature on the subject. In the dynamics of global markets, the strategic management of productive operations gains evidence as an essential practice to obtain competitive advantage in organizations. In this context, if the organizational strategy is designed without considering the internal and external environment of the organization, nor the importance of strategic alignment, the company runs the risk of maintaining costly and inefficient activities and processes that can generate unnecessary costs and waste valuable organizational resources . This paper deals with the main concepts of competitive strategy and production, and its main objective is to analyze the competitive and production strategies of companies in the industrial footwear sector of the Birigui-SP region and show evidence of strategic alignment from a proposed conceptual framework. The study adopted a qualitative quantitative research approach through triangulation, associating the survey methods and the case study. The results were significant, through which it was possible to identify the competitive and production strategies of some footwear companies, as well as to consolidate evidence of strategic alignment involving a footwear company and three of its main suppliers.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A prática no Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF): apoio matricial como inovação tecnológica em saúde(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-20) Gozzi, Alana de Paiva Nogueira Fornereto; Ogata, Márcia Niituma; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3274294833403570; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0361502737203825In order to improve and broaden the care practices applied by Primary Health Care teams, the GM Ordinance n. 154 was issued in January 24th, 2008, creating Family Health Support Centers (NASF, in Portuguese) in some cities. Since this is an innovative resource to be implemented in this level of health care, building knowledge about the adoption of matrix support as a working strategy to be performed by different professionals related to health care is in accordance with the National Policy of Science, Technology and Innovation in Health, developed within the Sistema Único de Saúde, which indicates the need of research in the areas of health promotion and diffusion of knowledge to health care teams. The main goals of the present study were to investigate the practices of matrix support in NASF teams and verify the configuration of matrix support as technological innovation in health. The specific goals are: to analyse managers’ conceptions about matrix support, analyse NASF team practices regarding matrix support, identify educational and health care strategies used to develop matrix support in health care, contribute to the process of implementation of NASFs in a region of São Paulo state, and identify challenges and predicaments in the processes of matrix support development. The adopted methodology for this investigation was an interventional one, using a qualitative approach in the light of theoretical and methodological assumptions of Institutional Analysis. The procedures concerning this investigation involve: A) Preliminary research along with the DRSIII-Araraquara/SP and public information systems in order to map the services; B) Approximation and observation of intervention areas and conduction of an overall survey of needs through the application of a questionnaire to the representatives of NASF coordination in each municipality as well as filling a field journal; C) Development and implementation of a collaborative action plan involving all actors (intervention team); and D) Application of a questionnaire to the NASF workers in order to include information in the group data collection. Data analysis was performed by triangulation of methods, using ALCESTE 4.5 software to carry out categorical thematic analysis of interviews with representatives of NASF coordination and in Phase2, based on the principals of Institutional Analysis of Professional Practices. The results and analysis target three main aspects involving matrix support as technological innovation: A) necessary flexibility in order to operationalise matrix support, considering the health needs of the location, dynamics of actions and the proposed measures for such work methodology; B) centrality of the work on people’s and collectives’ health needs, discussion of cases and elaboration of the Singular Therapeutic Project; and C) modification of the ambulatory care and of the specialties that supervise interprofessional work. This investigation enabled the better understanding of the role performed by NASF professionals both in their teams and in combined action with Primary Health Care teams belonging to Basic Health Units or Family Health Strategy. Following the process of implementation of NASFs in the region, it was possible to discuss the professional practices and issues faced by the involved actors. The investigation is in alignment with the theoretical perspective of Institutional Analysis and the field of Science, Technology and Society as it brings specific knowledge about the production of knowledge in health and its impact in health and life conditions of Brazilian population. This intervention process brought about positive effects and important constructions to the target area and group. The Permanent Education process that professionals went through raised important questions about the need for improvement of the specialised ambulatory care and of a restricted clinic practice regarding the NASF and its Primary Health Care professionals.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Performance e formação de professores: troco doces por doces sonhos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-20) Prini, Thais Helena; Lombardi, Lucia Maria Salgado dos Santos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5697508831302188; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6978-864X; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4330109924295915; https://orcid.org/0009-0007-8553-3496This work was born from the dream of building an Early Childhood Education that respects the needs of young children to move, play, create, reinvent and express themselves creatively. Inspired by a contemporary art exhibition, by the Art and Movement classes of the Pedagogy course, the research question − “can performance art contribute to the education of teachers of young children? If so, in what ways?” − generated the objective of understanding what contributions contemporary art can have, especially performance art, for the education of Early Childhood Education teachers. Having defined the research problem and the main objective, the methodology was configured as research into artistic practice (research in or through the arts) associated with bibliographic research. The mixed methodological approach made the research process and analyzed experiences of performances carried out by the author from 2014 to 2017, inspired by the performance “Troco Sonhos” by artist Ana Teixeira, more significant.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Eficiência dos municípios brasileiros: uma aplicação da Análise Envoltória de Dados (DEA)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-20) Zinidarsis, Izabel Cristina; Moralles, Herick Fernando; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3603674784653923; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1336131567848732Entrepreneurship has been pointed out in literature as an important inducer of economic and social development, by creating products and services that generate wealth for a nation. However, for a locality to have entrepreneurial potential, it is necessary to observe a set of factorial allocations. In view of the above, the present work has as general objective to analyze the determinants of efficiency in generating innovative entrepreneurship in a set of municipalities in the state of São Paulo. Through the application of the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) technique, the most efficient cities were identified and, through the Tobit Regression, the degree of influence of certain inputs (Technological Parks / APLs and No. of Graduates) was performance of cities in boosting the creation of new ventures.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Regras de associação e correlação temporal para popular e detectar Inconsistências em grandes bases de conhecimento(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-20) Miani, Rafael Garcia Leonel; Hruschka Júnior, Estevam Rafael; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2097340857065853; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9487235096598355Large growing knowledge bases have been an interesting field in many researches in the past few years. Most techniques focus on constructing algorithms to help a Knowledge Base (KB) automatically (or semi automatically) expands. However, many tools used to expand the KBs can extract incomplete or incorrect data, turning the KB inconsistent. In this way, this work has the objective to expand large knowledge bases as well as detect inconsistencies on them. To accomplish that, an association rule mining algorithm and temporal correlation are used. Applying an algorithm to extract association rules in large knowledge bases, the missing value problem need to be considered, once these bases grow day to day, and do not have all of the data. Therefore, a new parameter was created to perform the support calculation, the MSC parameter, to deal with missing values. Besides, a major problem on using association rules is the effort spent to analyze each extracted rule. Thus, this work developed ER component, which eliminates redundant and irrelevant association rules. Each valid rule is used by TARE component with the purpose of detecting inconsistencies. TARE introduces the concept of STARs (specific temporal association rules), which are used to detect possible inconsistencies. Each relevant STAR is used as an input to TCI component in order to get temporal correlations to (i) detect possible inconsistencies and (ii) to help populating the KB. Experiments showed that the association rules and the temporal correlation are capable to expand the knowledge base, decreasing the amount of missing values. Moreover, both TARE and TCI components were efficient in the process of detecting possible inconsistencies in the data set. Finally, the ER component reduced the number of rules in more then 30% without any lost in the process of populating the KB.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Modelação matemática na sala de aula: o conceito de função exponencial numa sequência de atividades para o 1º Ano do ensino médio(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-20) Maia, Lina Flávia Morete de Queirós; Peixoto, Magda da Silva; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0413910306376054; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0598790382107731This academic research is intended to present a sequence of activities in order to teach the exponential function in an instinctive way, and afterwards, present its definition in an attempt to formalize the properties that will be discovered by the students. The research starts with an analysis of some specific peaces of academic documents that also presents the exponential function. Aligned with such documents we present the Mathematic Modeling proposed by Bassanezi (2004) and the assumption of the Mathematical Modeling defined by Biembengut and Hein (2016). The sequence of activities is composed by eight activities involving social daily situations, the students will then have the opportunity to discuss around such scenarios in order to reach the mathematical models required to solve the scenarios under discussion, after that, the stundents will build the graphics of curves to describre the situations, with digital spreadsheets as the tool to design the solution. In the end, we expect to also motivate the professors to use the Mathematical Modeling with real examples as more tangible teaching strategy, linking mathematic with usual daily situations for the students.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Teoria e práxis: Oliveira Vianna como consultor jurídico do Ministério do Trabalho, Indústria e Comércio (1932-1940)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-20) Fontana, Felipe; Cepêda, Vera Alves; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4917331423373631; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6129448426028004In this work we will present some considerations about the work developed by Oliveira Vianna in the instances of the Brazilian State between 1932 and 1940. The author, known for being an interpreter of Brazil and a sharp analyst of national political institutions, played an important role as a statemaker, especially in the orientation of labor laws in the golden period of consolidation of the first regulatory structures of this political-institutional field. As legal adviser, Oliveira Vianna wrote legal reports and technical opinions that were sent to the Ministry of Labor, Industry and Commerce or to other institutions through your link with this institution. This material, assimilated or not in the legislation of the period, is attached to a significant part of the collection of the Casa de Oliveira Vianna Museum, deserving, therefore, a detailed analysis, as an autonomous thematic object. Based on the reading, classification and examination of this set of texts, we are interested in evaluating, above all, the nexus between the author's thought and the content of these materials elaborated during the First Vargas Government. Questions such as the interpretation of Brazilian social formation, culture and ethos, institutions, functions of the State, limitations of liberal individualism, among others, influence in what way the project to regulate the tensions inherent to work? In this direction the proposal is to verify the links, continuities or ruptures between the intellectual of social matrix and the expert consultant of the right, highlighting the expressive context where this relation takes place: the transformations post Revolution of 1930. From another angle, it is intended to analyze the influences that the perspective of immediate practical application of the proposals indicated to the Ministry may have reverberated in the perception and subsequent production of the author. Thus, using a broad set of materials we will investigate two central questions: the presence of Oliveira Vianna's theses in the documents produced by him and, in another hand, the possible effects of the requirements applied to the right, in the field of labor, to the intellectual production of the author. In general, we believe that there are pertinent links between the author's thought and his trajectory as a statemaker (either in transposing an intellectual thesis to the applied field or in verifying how the context and objectives of theoretical-practical work influenced conceptions and the later analyzes of the intellectual). Added to this and also as an important result of this work we find, in a less latent way, the existence of some contradictions, discrepancies or dissociations between what Oliveira Vianna ratified in his works (in his theory and work) and what he suggested as a statemaker and legal adviser to the Ministry of Labor, Industry and Commerce (in the documents produced by him). Finally, it is worth mention that emerge as a subsequent result of our research the presentation, analysis and specification of the technical-legal work of Vianna between the years of 1932 and 1940 emerges (a matter that, moreover, is a gap in the studies concerned with the author's thinking, his intellectual production and his professional trajectory as interpreter of Brazil).listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O corpo, esse desconhecido(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-20) Doin, Rafael Romeiro; Lombardi, Lucia Maria Salgado dos Santos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5697508831302188; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9984036089729552The main problem of the present study is to investigate: how is body self-image built in school? To answer this question, I looked at myself in a process of video recording and, following on, developed a research project and this work, which is configured in a bibliographical research and autobiographical character. The autobiographical method was constituted as a formative dimension and, together with the bibliographical survey and the literature analysis, led to the following axes of reflection: brief history of the body; cultural aspects and consumption; body language and the perception of a speaking body; the corporeality in the experience of the teacher.
