Abstract

The present research aims at the translation of terminological units of the health area into Sign Language, considering the plurality that exists in the deaf community. It is a qualitative research developed in two stages, a priori was carried out the selection of the material used for the creation of the translation, later the translation, followed for the analysis of the strategies used to make the specific terminology of the health area accessible in Sign Language.
