The following work describes the trajectory and experiences of a student of the Medical Course at the Federal University of São Carlos in the period from 2015 to 2020. It comprises a critical-reflexive analysis about the course in the Medicine course. It aims to transmit the personal and academic experience over the six years of the course, as well as their experiences and frustrations in the face of interpersonal learning and involvement. The narrative represents the Course Completion Work, as provided for in the Political Pedagogical Project (1), in a critical-reflective report format, divided into three learning cycles and extracurricular activities. In the first cycle, reports the entry into the course and expectations. In the second, it reports the learnings, activities involved and the discovery of the medium-patient relationship. In the third, I report the internship routine and challenges for completing the course.
Conductive polymers derived heteroatom doped carbon catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction

Fuel cell is an electrochemical energy conversion system, that holds the promise for clean and sustainable energy source. During the operation, this device generates electricity direct from electrochemical reactions between electrodes and electrolyte. The limiting half-cell oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) that takes place at cathode is kinetically sluggish and needs catalysts to overcome the thermodynamic limitations by increasing the rate of catalytic ORR. So far, platinum Pt-based catalysts have been proven the best electrocatalyst, however, they suffer with high cost, poor stability, and limited reserves in the Earth’s crust, restricting their use for commercial purpose. In this context, the search for metal-free carbon nanomaterials have emerged as an alternative to the counterpart Pt-based catalysts, especially owing to excellent electrical conductivity, large surface area, good stability, and low cost. This dissertation compiles the research work on heteroatom doped (single and co-doped) carbon catalysts for ORR electrocatalysis in alkaline medium. For the preparation of doped carbon nanomaterials, the conductive polymers, for example polyaniline (PANI), poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT), and polythiophene (PTH) were chosen as the precursors and sequentially polymerized by oxidative polymerization method onto silicon dioxide (SiO2) and silicon nitride (Si3N4) nanospheres followed by carbonization process. The selection of conductive polymers to obtain doped carbon nanomaterials was based on the following reasons: low-cost monomers; presence of heteroatom in the monomer unit, and intrinsic conductivity. By selecting an appropriate synthetic route for the preparation of conductive polymers coated on the templates (SiO2 and Si3N4), we produced high surface area, abundant mesoporous, and intrinsically doped carbon nanomaterials with ORR activity in alkaline medium.
Gerenciamento de crises ocasionadas por influenciadores digitais: um estudo do posicionamento das marcas

With the intensification of the use of social media, many companies have used digital influencers to disseminate their brands. However, in recent years there has been an increase in crises caused by these professionals, generating moments of discomfort for brands. Because of this, this article focused on analyzing how companies that hire digital influencers position themselves in the face of crises caused by them, in addition to assessing how the public judges such positioning. The results of the research showed that the companies carried out similar positions and that these positions resulted in different impacts on the public, being possible to classify the opinion in: Manifestation of Positive Support, Manifestation of Loyalty, Manifestation of Purchase Intention and Manifestation of Cancellation.

This research investigates the relationship between transformations in the institutional environment and the processes of reconfiguration and differentiation of the internal structures of organizations. This is done by articulating sociological institutionalism in organizational analysis and the approach to organizational processes developed by Karl Weick. The investigation is associated with the context of current national affirmative action policies for diversity and inclusion and their impacts at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Actions seeking to promote diversity and inclusion in higher education gained strength internationally since the 1960s, being associated with the restructuring of the ideological bases of capitalism. In Brazil, these trends culminated in the approval of Federal Law Number 12.711/12, which establishes the Vacancy Reserve Law and also Law 13.409/16, which determines the reservation of vacancies for people with disabilities in technical and higher education courses in the federal network education. It seeks to understand how this transformation in the institutions boosted the performance of certain internal groups of the institution and how these groups led the creation of new organizational areas, negotiating their relations and spaces with the existing structures. As a method, documentary analyzes were used, as well as data obtained through semi-structured interviews with organizational actors who are or were part of UFSCar, in sectors linked to issues of diversity and inclusion. The relationship between environmental issues of diversity and the change in the university's internal structure resulted in the adoption of a new order, based on the equal right of access and the construction of an area that became evident and culminated with a specialized secretary: SAADE.
ETEC DANS: uma escola profissionalizante

This investigation aims to rescue the institutional memory of the State Technical School Doctor Adail Nunes da Silva or ETEC DANS, an autarchy of the State Center for Technological Education Paula Souza, linked to the Secretariat of Economic Development of the State of São Paulo. Created by Law Decree 29.098, of November 3, 1988, with initial nomenclature of Escola Técnica Nova Vila Rosa. The absence of a systematized record gives the research the character of originality, since investigations about school institutions are precarious, valid arguments in the justification of this study. The questions that guided the research can be summarized in the history of the municipality, the historical linearity of ETEC DANS and its relationship with vocational high school, which, unified, resulted in the thesis ETEC DANS a vocational school. The dialectical method of investigation was used and, for this purpose, four points were guiding factors: formal authorization of the institution, bibliographic research, field research in loco both at school and in the city and the collection of information called living sources, with 25 deponents, recorded and transcribed through semi-structured interviews, resulting in Volume II. The intersection of sources, with equal equity content, resulted in the preservation of institutional memory in addition to corroborating future research. The limits of this study are school dropout and graduates who have not entered higher education. As a suggestion for future research, it is recommended to prioritize a physical memorial center at ETEC DANS, in addition to specific studies with graduates.
