The problems occur in the control of documentation and the control of processes, products, and continuous improvement. This research aims to propose an evaluation structure for Six Sigma application through a structured questionnaire or checklist for construction companies. The checklist was developed from a systematic review of the literature in which the six principles of Six Sigma are most used in civil construction internationally. Then, case studies were carried out on construction sites, and the checklist was applied to ten construction companies to identify each one's strengths and weaknesses. The research was realized with the technical staff of the building's site and quality management. The results showed that the companies contacted, on average, have mastered the principle of "focus on end customers," however they still have some difficulty in the application of quality management tools. Besides, it was found that characteristics such as the application of audits, the company's size, the existence of a quality department, and the existence of quality certifications influence the scoring of the Six Sigma principles. Therefore, according to the sample, it is concluded that the civil construction industry needs to develop mechanisms to promote the management of continuous improvement, having as a guideline the implementation and maintenance of methods and quality controls. The Hammond organ is an instrument created in the 1930s, of great importance for music and engineering as it brings the possibility of creating countless possibilities of sounds thanks to the combination of several electromechanical elements. The work is divided into a historical axis, with the objective of introducing the instrument and its inventor and contextualizing it in the world of music and an engineering axis, addressing the theory behind the generation of sound, the functioning of the different parts and the different tools for developing a prototype. The objective is achieved once the proposed project finds support in the knowledge acquired during the undergraduate course and presents a set of information sufficient for this final paper to be a basis for a subsequent implementation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Terapia ocupacional e feminismos: produções latino-americanas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-01-22) Gonçalves, Rafaela Correia; Silva, Carla Regina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6417501858864106; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0491725615915805The second wave of feminism in the US was one of the most important movements that supported the foundation of Occupational Therapy, however the expansion of Occupational Therapy and the official history of the profession made this process invisible. Recently, different expressions of feminism have been more present in debates within the profession. This article presents literature review research carried out in the CAPES Journal Portal and in Latin American Occupational Therapy journals, using the terms "Occupational Therapy" and "Feminism" in order to survey and synthesize the results of several primary studies within the theme. Twenty-seven scientific productions were found, 9 of which were inserted, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The selected texts address themes about and related to feminisms such as: machismo, sexism, binary division of the body and gender, occupations imposed on gender and historical processes that cross feminism with Occupational Therapy in a context of development of the profession. Occupational Therapy engaged with social transformation must seek to break with hegemonic patterns of domination and submission. Therefore, it must be active and conscious promoting breaks in these processes and fights for diversities in different dimensions, and in relation to gender, as well as dissident identities, it is necessary to strengthen and collectivity in favor of a society that is more possible for all people in equity.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Um metamodelo para alinhamento de padrões de requisitos e padrões de testes e um framework para avaliação de metamodelos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-01-22) Kudo, Taciana Novo; Vincenzi, Auri Marcelo Rizzo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0611351138131709; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7044035224784132A Software Requirement Pattern (SRP) is a feasible reuse approach that joins recurrent and high-quality software requirements from a set of applications. SRP is a widely investigated theme because it improves the quality of requirements specifications and reduces delivery time and project cost. Despite its importance for Requirements Engineering (RE), there is a lack of research on SRP over other software life cycle phases. Considering the intrinsic relation between RE and testing, this work aims to elaborate on an abstract and domain-independent reuse strategy for aligning SRP and Software Test Pattern (STP). A metamodel called Software Pattern MetaModel (SoPaMM) was produced so that requirements, behaviors, and test cases are related, with the influence of existing agile practices as Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). A Terminal Model Editor (TMEd) tool was also developed to produce pattern catalogues following the SoPaMM metamodel grammar. Moreover, the Metamodel Quality Requirements and Evaluation (MQuaRE) framework was defined to evaluate the SoPaMM metamodel quality. Then, SoPaMM was evaluated from the perspective of the quality properties defined in MQuaRE, and the evaluation results indicated that the metamodel has good quality concerning Compliance, Conceptual Suitability, Usability, Maintenance, and Portability characteristics. The main contributions of this research are: (i) a research agenda on the state of the art and state of the practice of SRP; (ii) the identification of a lack of research involving SRP in other phases of the software life cycle, beyond RE; (iii) the SoPaMM metamodel; (iv) the TMEd tool; (v) the MQuaRE framework; and (vi) the quality evaluation of the SoPaMM metamodel using the MQuaRE framework. Lessons learned and proposals of future work conclude this research.
