Item type:Item, Investigação da influência da temperatura sobre a resistência mecânica, qualidade superficial e dimensional de peças impressas pela técnica FPM(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Caique, Caique de Castro ;Barbosa, Gustavo Franco ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/4027686840017498 ;Malavolta, Alexandre Tácitohttps://lattes.cnpq.br/8477313173581967Additive manufacturing has become a common practice across various industries due to its ability to efficiently produce complex parts on low and mediun scale. Among the various adopted techniques, the Fused Pellet Modeling (FPM) technique stands out, utilizing polymeric grains (pellets) as raw material. However, achieving functional parts with good surface quality and mechanical strength remains a challenge when using the FPM technique. These issues become even more complex when dealing with larger parts, as the associated thermal gradients tend to be more pronounced. In this context, the present research project aims to investigate the effect of print bed temperature on the mechanical strength, surface quality, and dimensional accuracy of parts printed using the FPM technique, employing ABS polymer. To achieve this, an actively controlled print bed will be developed and integrated into a manufacturing cell dedicated to 3D printing of large-scale products, with volumes of up to 1 m³. This manufacturing cell will feature a single-screw extruder operated by an industrial robotic arm to process the polymeric grains. The primary goal is to assess how precise control of print bed thermal conditions can positively impact the mechanical strength and quality of produced parts, particularly in larger volumes. In essence, this study addressed the influence of thermal gradients on additive manufacturing of ABS parts. Mechanical properties showed no significant correlations with temperature analyses at various levels. However, results from dimensional analysis and surface quality highlighted the critical importance of precise print bed temperature control, affecting parts according to different levels. Application of methods like dimensional analysis and microscopy revealed significant result variations. Furthermore, results across different print bed temperature levels proved crucial to part quality. These findings contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the intricate interplay between temperature, print parameters, and properties of parts manufactured using FPM, offering valuable insights for future process optimizations.Item type:Item, Hipoelipticidade global analítica e Gevrey de sublaplacianos sob condições Diofantinas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Moura, Elis Coimbra de ;Petronilho, Gerson ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5917989984472668https://lattes.cnpq.br/6454190073308222In this dissertation we consider the problem of global Gevrey regularity for a class of partial differential operators in the form of a sum of squares of vector fields and we show that these operators are globally Gevrey hypoeliptic on the torus if and only if their coefficients satisfy a certain Diophantine condition.Item type:Item, Impactos do isolamento social na vida de pessoas idosas: uma análise das condições cognitivas e psicossociais após um ano e meio de pandemia da COVID-19(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Vicentini, Mariana Santucci ;Costa-Guarisco, Letícia Pimenta ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9170509383468366https://lattes.cnpq.br/8900755003198717Social isolation was an important preventive measure of the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for risk groups, such as the elderly. However, despite having an epidemiological advantage, social isolation can cause anxiety, depression, fear, insecurity, insomnia, lack of appetite and fatigue, among others. The present study aimed to evaluate the psychosocial impacts of social isolation in the elderly, as well as the use of technology and social connections during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a retrospective, cross-sectional, observational, comparative and longitudinal study with a quantitative data approach. Nineteen elderly people, who have been attending a Community Center were evaluated, they participated in a gerontology workshop and had a multidimensional evaluation carried out in 2019. After 1 and a half year of pandemic, in 2021, these were re-evaluated in a remote format, during activities suspension of the Community Center. Data from assessments of the presence of depressive symptoms, cognition, social support and family functionality were compared before and after the pandemic. The variables: pandemic impacts, use of technology and social connections were correlated with sociodemographic and psychosocial aspects. As a result, it was possible to identify that, in general, the elderly presented high levels of family functionality and social support during the pandemic period. No increase in depressive symptoms and worsening of cognition were identified in comparisons before and after the pandemic. The use of technology during this period was correlated with age, education and cognition. Furthermore, the use of technology by this group during the COVID-19 pandemic was shown to be correlated with younger age and better cognition. Based on the study results, it is concluded that the social isolation imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic did not compromise the psychosocial and cognitive aspects of those attending the Community Center.Item type:Item, Influência da fragilidade na presença de sintomas depressivos de pessoas idosas em contexto de alta vulnerabilidade social(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Grazziano, Pedro ;Vilela da Silva, Yasmin Caroline ;Orlandi, Ariene Angelini dos Santos ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/1334146454214813Inouye, KeikaWith advancing age, the elderly person becomes more susceptible to frailty syndrome and depression. Depressive symptoms such as inactivity and inappetence can lead to a decrease in muscle mass, strength and physical activity - which are frailty criteria. This research aimed to identify an association between depression and frailty in a sample of 122 elderly people treated at Family Health Units (USF) in the city of São Carlos. This is a descriptive, cross-sectional study based on the quantitative research method. The instruments used for data collection were: Questionnaire for the Sociodemographic Characterization of the Elderly, the Frailty Assessment Scale and the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS). The data obtained were entered into a database using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for Windows program to perform descriptive, comparative (Pearson's Chi-Square and Kruskal-Wallis Test) and correlational analysis (Spearman's Correlational Analysis). The elderly had a mean age of 69.93 years (Md=70.00; SD=6.92), 3.05 years of schooling (Md=3.00; SD=2.92), were predominantly female (54.9%, n=67), married (92.6%, n=113), brown (48.4%, n=59) and retired (79.5%, n=97). Individual and family incomes were less than 1.3 and 2.4 times the minimum wage, respectively. As for frailty, 42 were frail (34.4%), 75 were pre-frail (61.5%) and only 5 were robust (4.1%). The prevalence of depressive symptoms in the sample was 38.5% (n=47), with 4.1% (n=5) having severe depressive symptoms and 34.4% (n=42) having mild depressive symptoms. In the frail group, the mean total depression score was 6.67 points (Md=7.00; SD=3.24), in the pre-frail group it was 4.00 points (Md=3.00; SD= 2.81) and the non-frail group was 2.40 points (Md=2.00; SD=2.07). The difference in the means of the groups was significant (X²=19.508; gl=2; p=0.000). Corroborating this, the correlation analysis between the number of depressive symptoms and the frailty score was significant, of moderate magnitude and directly proportional (rho=0.484, p=0.000). It is concluded that more frail elderly people have a greater number of depressive symptoms. This protection is mainly associated with two aspects. The first is the protection against physical and mechanical damage during transport and storage. The second, dealing specifically with food, is the protection against environmental factors, such as gases, water vapor, light and odors. Thus, a package must have an adequate barrier that prevents or hinder a contact between the external environment and the product inside. Therefore, specific analyzes are necessary to verify this barrier that the package can provide, that is, how permeable or not it is to these factors, such as the permeability rate to water vapor and oxygen. Since when it comes to the food industry, attention should be paid to these factors, because the oxygen in contact with food allows the growth of spoilage aerobic microorganisms, and the increase in humidity, in foods with low water activity, favors the growth of microbial growth, fat oxidation, loss of crunchiness, among others. In this sense, the present work focused to evaluate, in the form of a bibliographic review, the analyzes to determine the permeability rate to water vapor and oxygen applied to flexible plastic package used in the food industry.Item type:Item, "Jakaru!": comensalidade e socialidade Guarani-Kaiowá(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Zotti, Gabriela Barbosa Lima e Santos ;Peggion, Edmundo Antonio ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9849805103860827 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9056-9417https://lattes.cnpq.br/1459242431162417Much has been said about the fabrication of bodies and the construction of the person in the Amerindian world, focusing part of the theoretical and methodological efforts on the shamanic practices of the extraordinary and the ethnographic contexts of the Amazon. This study intends to approach other modes of body agency and construction of the person among the Guarani-Kaiowá, from the southern cone region of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, more precisely in the Pirakuá Indigenous Land, in the municipality of Bela Vista, on the border with Paraguay. . I focus attention on the everyday ways of making people or, as I defend, on transforming a human into a relative, through commensality and affec- tion, having as a hypothesis the idea that the body of the Ava-Kaiowá Person is not closed in on itself, but open to external affections that, driven by its assemblage, it is possible to absorb becomings-others for its benefit, even if, in extreme contact with these becomings, one runs the risk of ceasing to be related to one's own kin. However, it is positive actions to maintain parenthood, commensality and affection that neutralize these becomings.Item type:Item, Abordagens de ensino e experiência de aprendizagem: uma pesquisa narrativa a partir do site BBC Learning English(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Morotti, Rafael Antonio ;Viana, Nelson ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/6252579012192711https://lattes.cnpq.br/3684355637074571We usually search for free online contents in order to learn foreign languages, as well as we recommend it to other people. In this sense, the BBC Learning English webpage is a reference for teachers and learners. Although English learners from all over the world have been attended this website, there are few studies on its contents, especially regarding its teaching approaches. Considering this fact, the general objective in this study is to investigate the possible language teaching approaches underlying the contents of the website. For this purpose, this research was grounded on authors who have produced relevant works in this area, such as Anthony (1963), Richards and Rodgers (1986), Almeida Filho (1993, 1997, 2000), Larsen-Freeman (2003, 2011), Littlewood (1981) and Lewis (1993, 2000, 2008). As a methodology, one developed a narrative research from the writing of a study diary, based on Bailey (1991), Barcelos (2020), Barkhuizen (2015), Pavlenko (2007), among others. The comparison between the characteristics of approaches and the diary reports generated relevant data on how the page promotes the teaching of English.Item type:Item, Efeitos de uma intervenção de gestão de casos sobre os fatores de risco neuropsicológicos em pessoas idosas caidoras da comunidade: ensaio clínico randomizado(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Florido, João Vitor Businaro ;Caetano, Maria Joana Duarte ;Ansai, Juliana Hottahttps://lattes.cnpq.br/1028110691131464Introduction: Falls are directly related to morbidity and mortality in older people. Multifactorial and individualized approaches based on risk factors for falls are needed. Objective: To verify the effects of an intervention based on case management on neuropsychological factors in community-dwelling faller older people. Method: A single-blind randomized clinical trial conducted, with 55 participants over 60 years old, and with a history of at least two falls in the last year. The assessment took place in three moments, before intervention, after 16 weeks of intervention and short follow up after 6 weeks. Assessors blinded to the intervention collected anamnesis data and neuropsychological factors (Addenbrooke Cognitive Examination - Revised version, Mini Mental State Examination, Verbal Fluency Test, Geriatric Depression Scale, Falls Efficacy Scale-International and Geriatric Anxiety Inventory). The Control Group (n=26) was monitored for falls management and health conditions. The Intervention Group (n=29) was conducted to a case management for fallers, lasting 16 weeks, once a week. The intervention included a multidimensional assessment of risk factors for falls, discussion about the identified risk factors, preparation of an individualized intervention plan with the participant, application, monitoring and review of the plan. For analyzes, a significance level of α = 0.05 was adopted and the SPSS software (22.0) was used to perform the statistical tests. The analysis was carried out by intention to treat. Results: After 16 weeks, 55 volunteers were re-assessed, with a loss of 5 participants at 6-week follow-up. There was a non-significant trend of difference between groups after 6 weeks of follow-up in ACE-R visuospatial domain, with lower values in the CG. There were no significant differences between groups or between estimates in other variables, risk of depression and anxiety and fear of falling. Both groups showed a non-significant increase in the ACE-R assessment, especially the GI, from a non-significant decrease in the FES-I assessment in groups. Conclusion: Intervention based on case management has the potential to improve or maintain neuropsychological factors in community-dwelling faller older people. However, more clinical trials are needed to prove its effects.Item type:Item, Educação Infantil e a criança negra: análise das produções do PPGE UFSCar sobre as relações étnico-raciais na infância (2004-2018)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Ferreira, Leticia da Costa ;Hai, Alessandra Arcehttps://lattes.cnpq.br/3845288858275245The present work deals with the black theme in early childhood education, especially in how teaching and research on racial issues aimed at childhood contribute to combat actions that minimize and disregard social, political and historical issues that influence the treatment of the black population, especially children. The study relies on fragmented knowledge in 11 national academic productions, and the research is the product of a critical review of specialized literature. The methodological approach admitted refers to a bibliographic analysis from the perspective of qualitative research, which allows investigating and interpret the contributions of the authors in an analytical way, going through the lines of research, educational practices, as well as the levels of commitment, understanding and construction of individual and collective conceptions in relation to the theme. The study's main goal is to analyze how the selected researchers analyze and present in their scope racial and ethnic issues in Early Childhood Education, as well as the young black child. For this, the theoretical and methodological reference is based on the analysis of dissertations and theses produced with a time frame of 2004 to 2018 in the base of the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of São Carlos. In addition, it seeks to locate methodologies present in academic productions that indicate principles of an anti-racist education in childhood, which must necessarily be inclusive in all its levels and forms, changing the conditions of existence of racialized populations, present in the social. The problem that guides the development of this study was thus stipulated: "How does the research produced in the scope of the PPGE of UFSCar analyze and present ethno-racial issues in Early Childhood Education and the black child? What would be the contributions of such works to foster an anti-racist pedagogical practice in childhood?". The results perceived with the research unfold harmful relations that cause infinite violence in Children's Education, which brings innumerable aspects to collaborate about the importance of ethno-racial teaching since Children's Education and the positive impact that it promotes in the psyche of children, as well as, the importance of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture in the school and in the formation of teachers, in order to eliminate the diverse forms of racism and discrimination that still prevail in our educational institutions.Item type:Item, Análise dos efeitos de diferentes atmosferas sobre a fotocondutividade do Co3O4(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Eiras, Vinícius Haither ;Godoy, Marcio Peron Franco de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/2609654784637427https://lattes.cnpq.br/1180448005682326In this monograph, the effects of different atmospheres on the photoconductivity of Co3O4 were analyzed. For this purpose, with a Co3O4 sample set inside a cryostat filled with the selected atmosphere, its photoresponse was measured, comparing the current flowing through it without any illumination with the current after the increase in electrical conductivity caused by the incidence of light. The atmospheres of atmospheric air, synthetic air, argon, nitrogen, oxygen and vacuum were chosen for this analysis. Considering the fact that Co3O4 has a double bandgap configuration, for each atmosphere two lasers of different wavelengths were used to illuminate the sample, aiming to excite the electrons from the valence band to the bands related to each bandgap separately. Comparing the photoresponse measurements for each atmosphere, a clear influence on the photoconductivity of the sample was noticed. For illumination with the two different wavelengths, considerably lower photoresponses and longer response times were obtained for atmospheres with oxygen and nitrogen gases when compared to argon and vacuum atmospheres. This is explained by the fact that oxygen and nitrogen react with Co3O4, adsorbing to its surface, capturing the free electrons and thus reducing the photoconductivity of the sample, while this does not happen for vacuum and argon atmospheres, as they are not reactive. The different photoresponses and response times obtained for different atmospheres indicate the possibility of using Co3O4 in applications such as gas sensors.Item type:Item, Estudo do impacto sonoro no uso de drone em campo livre(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Silva, Kadu Gibran ;Cardoso, Claudio Antonio ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0332061570052918https://lattes.cnpq.br/1622932457566491In recent years there has been an increase in the use of RPAs (remotely piloted aircraft system), for different functions. However, this growth comes with a concern with questions about noise pollution and its possible impacts generated by the drones. To regulate the use of RPAs, which would determine noise limits for the category, it is necessary to carry out studies to identify their characteristics of the emission such as directionality, presence of tonal noise and global noise level. In this work, we present the main methods and standards for sound characterization from a test with a commercial RPA in order to identify possible critical points in the discussion.Item type:Item, Estratégia de educação em saúde online no período perinatal durante a pandemia da COVID-19: experiência das mulheres(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Silva, Katia Gomes da ;Bussadori, Jamile Claro de Castro ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/4549657176930635https://lattes.cnpq.br/3677731890595341The quality of women's perinatal period experience has been globally disseminated for years given its impact on the course of life for them, their children and society. These disruptions affect the alteration of the hormonal system and the metabolic processes that are regulated by the endocrine system, generating as a consequence several diseases such as cancer, hormonal dysfunctions, among others. Bisphenol A is used as a base product in the production of synthetic polymers and it belongs to a part of this class of compounds, and its release and exposure to the environment must be controlled and monitored. Thus, several analytical methods are reported in the literature based on liquid or gas chromatography, with different types of detection. Such methods have high sensitivity, appreciated robustness and great precision and accuracy for the determination of these compounds. However, these methods involve a high laboratory cost, large waste generation, large analysis time and do not allow in-situ analysis. On the other hand, the development of electrochemical sensors presents itself as a fast, sensitive and low-cost alternative for both analysis and production of sensors, when compared to chromatographic methods. In addition, the modification of its sensor surface allows adaptation to specific analytes, which can generate an improvement in the magnitude of the analytical signal. In this sense, a promising material for modifying the surface of sensors are quantum dots. These nanoparticles are smaller than 10 nm in size, have important optoelectronic characteristics due to their quantum confinement and are interesting to be applied in the modification of electrochemical sensors. Thus, in this work, a literature review was carried out on the development of electroanalytical methods for the determination of bisphenol A. A disposable electrochemical sensor manufactured with carbon ink modified with quantum dots of cadmium telluride will also be presented for the determination of BPA in samples of river water. The developed sensor proved to be effective in the determination of BPA, presenting an estimated detection limit of 3.4 nmol L-1 and an estimated recovery when applied to the determination of BPA in river water samples.Item type:Item, Propriedades eletrônicas de pigmentos naturais aplicados no setor de cosméticos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Servelo, Kárita Prado ;Carlos, Rose Maria ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/1589143355309943https://lattes.cnpq.br/7210852458483447Faced with the growing scenario of the consumer market, which have been looking for composed of ingredients that are less harmful to humans and the environment, the research on natural products has become increasingly relevant, especially in the beauty and personal care sector. The world cosmetics market has shown excellent growth, especially when the product stands out for “green manufacturing”. Thus, a series of plants and roots have been used as a source of natural pigments to be used in cosmetics with color. Therefore, through a literature review, this work was developed in order to elucidate the concepts of natural cosmetics and the light-absorbing properties of inorganic pigments. The motivation for the development, is due to my proximity to the cosmetics sector during the internship period and for the interest in studying the electronic properties and structural pigments responsible for coloringItem type:Item, Análise de convergência espacial do setor agropecuário no estado de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Paula, Laiana de Oliveira ;Gomes, Alexandre Lopes ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5002157193962189https://lattes.cnpq.br/3317487795443157According to the Institute of Agricultural Economics, the agricultural sector is the main activity in 260 municipalities in São Paulo (BEZERRA et al, 2005). This work aims to identify whether the disparity in the value added of the agricultural sector decreased between 2002 and 2019 in the municipalities of the state of São Paulo. Initially, Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (AEDE) is used, based on Moran's I statistic to show patterns of spatial association, and through the local indicator of spatial association (LISA) with the identification of clusters. Finally, the regression of β-convergence was carried out in order to identify whether the values are converging on the average, that is, if the municipalities with the lowest value added per capita in the agricultural sector show greater growth in relation to the municipalities with the highest value. added per capita of the agricultural sector, as identified in the β-convergence studies present in the literature. As a result, the work observes, through Moran's I, the presence of a positive spatial association of the agricultural sector between the municipalities. The Moran Local (LISA) statistic showed the incidence of three clusters of HH group (high value of the agricultural sector with similar neighbors) and one LL group (municipalities with low value of the agricultural sector with similar neighbors). In the end, the absolute β-convergence regression indicates a negative value of the β coefficient, demonstrating that the higher the initial agricultural value added, the lower the growth of value added in the agricultural sector in the study period.Item type:Item, Implementação da troca de emitâncias no booster do SIRIUS para melhoria da eficiência de injeção no anel de armazenamento(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Quentino, Jucelio Vitor ;Alves, Murilo Barbosa ;Moreira, Pedro Augusto Franco Pinheirohttps://lattes.cnpq.br/5964404207962453SIRIUS is the newest 4th generation synchrotron light source, built and operated by the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). The injection system responsible for accumulating electrons in the storage ring comprises two other accelerators, a linear accelerator, and a booster. Storage ring injection efficiency is a constantly optimizing parameter, with the goal of regularly reaching > 95 %. The improvements made so far result in an average efficiency of 86 % with the optimized machine. This work presents the studies and experimental results of the transverse emittance exchange (TEE) implementation in the SIRIUS booster, performed to decrease the injected beam horizontal size and improve injection efficiency. Simulations of injection dynamics in the storage ring were performed, comparing a beam with and without TEE, in addition to a study of adiabaticity conditions and the impact of radiative effects on the quality of the exchange. The TEE implementation was made by modifying the defocusing quadrupoles current at the booster ramp end. The results show a significant improvement in injection efficiency.Item type:Item, Alocação de carteiras de ações utilizando aprendizado de máquina e regras fuzzy(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Gambim, Mario Luiz ;Camargo, Heloisa de Arrudahttps://lattes.cnpq.br/0487231065057783Long-term investments through stock portfolios attract the attention of investors, who are looking for simple and effective ways to select stocks to compose a portfolio, as well as find a series of assets that will have greater appreciation in the future. Over the years, several techniques have been developed, and this work aimed to use Machine Learning (AM) to predict future stock values. To maximize their gains, investors look for information or techniques that are able to help them. In view of this, AM models have become frequently used to discover stocks that have a high potential for appreciation. Unlike short- and medium-term applications that make use of time series, long-term applications require simpler methods. In this work, a strategy for allocating portfolios for long-term investments (1 year) with AM models was elaborated and evaluated, namely: Linear Regression (RL), Regression Tree (AR), Random Forest (RF), K- Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Bayesian Ridge (BR) and Fuzzy Inference Systems (SIF). In addition to this main objective, a qualitative analysis of the interpretability of the rules of a model based on fuzzy rules was also carried out, in order to seek ways to understand the relationship between input and output attributes based on linguistic terms. The result obtained in this work showed that the approach by using AM models to predict the performance of stocks over a year and subsequent stock selection is efficient for investors to obtain returns higher than the S&P500 market indices and by manual methods.Item type:Item, Construindo uma pedagogia a partir de vivências: reflexões sobre minha trajetória e a importância da educação socioemocional(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-22) ;Pontes, Samantha de Oliveira Carmo ;Hai, Alessandra Arcehttps://lattes.cnpq.br/3845288858275245This conclusion work is defined as a memorial, which aimsto rescue memories of my childhood and adolescence, as well as my adulthood, combining my individual personal growth with the environment which I was provided with, as well as the importance of my family and friends in this path. In line with studies from the cultural-historical theory, and studies in the field of neuroscience and social-emotional education, I seek to add meaning to the theoretical foundation of my own history and to propose a more humane education that considers emotions, the stages of child development, and that has as main goal to educate children in their entirety. The work develops itself from a temporal perspective, in which I start by describing my childhood and adolescence, through my studying years at the university until my moving to another country, in which I detail my personal and professional growth, trying and seeking answers to many challenges found throughout my pedagogical work with small children.Item type:Item, Percepção da afetividade e das emoções na prática pedagógica de professores de Ciências da Natureza(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) ;Gutierrez, João Pedro Fermino ;Bretones, Paulo Sérgio ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0016646045895716https://lattes.cnpq.br/3586357556618545The present reality defies us to think an education that overcomes the content-focused approach, highly spread in pedagogical practices. The circumstances experienced by COVID-19 pandemic intensified an already urgent situation: the need of restoring the humane dimension of teaching. Providing a humane formation to our students means to integrate affective dimension to the cognitive dimension in pedagogical practice. This study aimed to identify the perception of Natural Sciences teachers (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) on emotions and affectivity in their practices during classes to High School students and how emotions and affectivity were related to and integrated with cognition, having as theoretical support Vygotsky and Wallon ideas. To achieve it, this mastering degree research was qualitative whose methodology consisted in doing individual semi-structured interviews with three teachers. The analysis was made by the Discursive Textual Analysis, with the categorization and discussion of parts of the transcript speeches and reports of the researcher’s observations. As conclusions from the interviewed teachers’ speeches, we realize they have the perception that the affective dimension, theirs and their students’, is part of the development processes which occur in school. They also reflect on the affective dimension and, even though it has not been formalized systematically in courses how to develop it properly, they attempt to integrate it to their work with the cognitive dimension so students’ education can be complete and the teaching-learning processes can be enriched by more accurate pedagogical mediations.Item type:Item, Supercondutividade aplicada a dispositivos de inserção: rota de fabricação de bobinas de Nb-Ti para um Wavelength Shifter de 6,32 T(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-09-23) ;Cavassani, Isadora Balbino ;Seraphim, Rafael Molenahttps://lattes.cnpq.br/9530569105597963The demand for building a high-performance X-ray tomography beamline energy in the Brazilian synchrotron accelerator, Sirius, required the development of a project for a superconducting magnet with a magnetic field greater than 6 T. In this sense, a multidisciplinary team developed the preliminary design of a magnet superconductor with three poles, one central and two lateral, of 6.32 T peak field, called Superconducting Wavelength Shifter (SWLS). The definition of the magnet models was based on simulations seeking to respect the design assumptions: operation in a straight stretch, reuse of the maximum equipment of a deactivated superconducting magnet in CNPEM, magnetic field above 6 T, narrow field profile in the central pole region (FWHM ≈ 30), magnetic gap 7 mm and operating margin above 20%. The SWLS electromagnetic model has a set consisting of 6 superconducting coils of Nb-Ti. After defining the parameters of the superconducting wire and the model geometry, a fabrication route for superconducting coils was proposed. Afterwards, she was validated with the development of a copper prototype. This Final Course Work presents important concepts about superconductivity applied to insertion devices, such as SWLS, and the development of the superconducting magnet project to define the models and coil manufacturing route, as well as the prototyping of a copper coil as a route validation.
