Propriedades eletrônicas de pigmentos naturais aplicados no setor de cosméticos

Abstract

Faced with the growing scenario of the consumer market, which have been looking for composed of ingredients that are less harmful to humans and the environment, the research on natural products has become increasingly relevant, especially in the beauty and personal care sector. The world cosmetics market has shown excellent growth, especially when the product stands out for “green manufacturing”. Thus, a series of plants and roots have been used as a source of natural pigments to be used in cosmetics with color. Therefore, through a literature review, this work was developed in order to elucidate the concepts of natural cosmetics and the light-absorbing properties of inorganic pigments.
