    Sexual violence perpetrated against children and adolescents is a public health problem, given the prevalence of this type of violence. It affects children of all social statuses, and has a higher incidence within the family. Protecting these children from any type of violation of their rights is the task of a network of services, which, when well structured, can achieve the objectives of combating violence. This work proposes to analyze the importance of welcoming and protection networks for the referral of cases of violence. The main objective is to identify how the protection network against violence against children and adolescents should be articulated, in the perception of its actors. Outlined as a cross-sectional research with a qualitative approach, the study was guided by national and international documents that guide how to promote prevention and care for cases of sexual violence, greater appropriation of national laws, aiming at a greater understanding of how the protection network needs to be articulated. As the Rights Guarantee System is very extensive, it was decided to dialogue through semi-structured interviews with a few services, namely: the Tutelary Council, CREAS, the Assistance Program for Victims of Sexual Abuse (PAVAS) and the Commission for Organizing the Flow of Violence in the municipality of São Carlos. The analysis of the interviews departed from the inspiration of Foucault's Genealogy, seeking to identify possible statements involved in power relations. The results demonstrate a need for greater intersectoral articulation, as well as the accountability of some actors. The lack of technical training and few alignments also appear as negative factors. The non-discursive practices that were evidenced refer to power relations, the result of a culture of violence, to which this protection network is subordinated.

    IL-2 and TRAIL are therapeutic agents known for their antitumor role, but they can be rapidly cleared by the body or be toxic, compromising their function. To reverse this impasse, the synthesis of these agents by living bacteria directly in the tumor is a viable approach, due to the preference of bacteria to infect tumor cells. This happens due to the high nutrient grid in this microenvironment and escape from the protective action of immune cells since solid tumors are ischemic and have regions of hypoxia. In this context, Salmonella represents a promising live vector for delivering molecules with an antitumor role. This study investigated the effects of IL-2, TRAIL and MIX of proteins expressed by recombinant Salmonella, strain SL3261, which contains a plasmid for the gene sequence of IL-2 and TRAIL, in bladder tumor cells in in vitro and in vivo models. The murine MB49 and human RT4 bladder cancer cell lines and C57BL/6 female mice were used. In in vitro tests, the cells were exposed for 24 and 48 hours to these proteins and the analyzes were performed by flow cytometry, ELISA, dyes and fluorescent antibodies to detect several cellular parameters: viability, morphology, recovery, nitric oxide synthesis, secretion of LDH, production of inflammatory cytokines and apoptosis. For in vivo test, a bladder tumor was induced in female mice by inoculation of MB49 cells followed by intravesical treatment, with subsequent analysis of survival, bladder weight, tumor regression, cell profile, cytokine release and biodistribution of bacterial strains. The data obtained indicate that both agents are cytotoxic for the tumor cell, as they cause a decrease in cell viability, modification of its own morphology and induction of apoptosis in both MB49 and RT4. This effect is caused by the activation of the enzyme iNOS by IL-2, which induces the synthesis of nitric oxide with consequent activation of genes that determine DNA degradation, and by the activation of the Caspase family by TRAIL, leading to apoptosis. In the in vivo tests, however, there was marked tumor regression, activation of the immune response due to the action of proteins, cell recruitment against tumor cells without causing damage to healthy tissues with an effect only on the tumor. Therefore, IL-2 and TRAIL expressed and conveyed by SL3261 have promising potential in the therapy of bladder cancer and that the proteins present synergism and that the MIX is more effective.

    Lean Construction seeks to optimize production processes, proposing a change in management philosophy that supports the planning of activities, reduction of process flows, continuous improvement, and elimination of waste, among other aspects. The Last Planner Production Planning and Control System (LPS) is among the main contributions to construction management. Therefore, this study proposes improvements to Production System Design (PSD) and production planning and control for companies that build industrialized construction projects using LPS. The research method adopted was a case study, using participant observation, indirect observations through photographic reports, and documentary analysis. A company managing an enterprise for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry was identified as the subject of this work. The company's production planning and control model presented opportunities for improvement, such as the development of the LPS at all levels and in a collaborative manner. The structuring of the PSP is based on strategic decisions using planning tools and indicators that would allow for transparency of the plans drawn up, such as line of balance (LOB), deviation from the deadline and duration, and adherence to the plan of attack. The results showed that drawing up the PSP can help make strategic decisions, which can be fundamental to drawing up and developing more assertive planning. Furthermore, using visual tools can increase the transparency of planning and control processes. At the end of the study, a series of improvement actions related to PSP and production planning and control were presented. The proposed model can be used for similar types of projects and for construction companies that use the concepts of LPS and seek to improve their processes through strategic planning tools, such as PSP.

    Belonging to the chemical group of carbohydrates and considered the main component of the plant cell wall, ensuring protection and support for the development of vegetables, cellulose is the most abundant biopolymer on Earth. Cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs), possessing unique properties, has stood out due to its abundance, because it is biodegradable, has good mechanical, optical and thermal properties. Has high surface area specific with hydroxyl functional groups that allows various chemical modifications to improve the physical-chemical properties of existing materials and/or develop new materials. Therefore, the objective of this work is the chemical functionalization of CNFs with the reagents 2-chloroethylamine hydrochloride and the 2-aminoethyl hydrogen sulfate for future application as filter membranes. The functionalized nanofibrils were characterized via Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), potentiometric titration, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The low value of the percentage of nitrogen and the degree of substitution characteristic of this type of reaction were calculated from the potentiometric titration. The results indicate that the chemical modification reaction under inert atmosphere was successful in finding bands in the FTIR spectrum characteristic of chemical modification. Through the XRD technique it was verified that the crystallinity indices decreased and the AFM micrographs found that there was a decrease in the diameter of the nanofibrils after the chemical modification reactions in the CNFs.
