Spotlight: questões da produção em Button Poetry
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-05-31) Rocha, Letícia Assis Michalczyk; Salgado, Luciana Salazar; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5206927424265495; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9626077841592297
In this research, we analyze the production inside the Button Poetry channel on YouTube as a form of confrontation to patriarchal impositions throughout poetry. We have drawn a line of stereotypes imposed to women, using WOOLF (1929; 1942; 1989), DE BEAUVOIR (2016) and PLATH (2014; 2019) to contextualize the decision to investigate the idea of Manic Pixie Dream Girl (RABIN, 2007) with the performance of GATWOOD (2015) and, also, the conflicts related to mental health and generational trauma in women with the performance of BENAIM (2014) from the Button Poetry YouTube channel, a literary setting in digital environment. Aiming to investigate the materiality we have used the discursive-midiological line and Discourse Analysis, with Regis Debray and Dominique Maingueneau theories, yet, tracing a reflexion about literature and new media (ROCHA, 2016; 2019). While considering Button Poetry channel as a midium (DEBRAY, 2000) we have established an investigation of its functioning in the platform in which it is inserted, with the perspective of Organized Matter and Materialized Organization (DEBRAY, 2000) as well as analyzing slam poetry performances (PINTO, 2017) and what overflows the literary (GARRAMUÑO, 2014). From what has been exposed, we study two videos with performances of authorship of women in the youtube channel to notice the production related to gender in a digital environment.

The success of a dental procedure, regarding root canal treatment processes (Endodontics), is directly related to the filling material that will serve as a substitute for the tooth root tissue. The dental material widely used for this function is known as Gutta-Percha (GP) cones. This polymer is extracted naturally from trees in the Malay Peninsula and Indonesia, industrially polymerized and mixed with organic and inorganic compounds. The process by injection molds is one of the manufacturing processes of GP conical points and there is evidence of a scarcity of literature with coverage in the subject. About the injection process, the polymer chains of the injected material tend to be typically oriented in the direction of the injection flow and suffer constant interference due to the friction between the injected polymeric material and the mold surface. Thus, friction is related to the characteristics of the injected polymer and aspects of roughness of the mold surface, the study aims to investigate the influence on the length reach of GP points during the injection process in two different roughness profiles. In this work, the surface characteristics of injection mold were evaluated by correlating the roughness of the mold cavities with the length reach of GP points before and after mold surface treatment. After modification of the cavity roughness profile, the surfaces showed an increase in their irregularities presenting roughness parameters, in μm, for Ra (0.30 - 0.75), Rq (0.56 - 1.68), Rt (3.43 - 20.97), Rz (2.51 - 8.76), Rp (1.73 - 16.30) and Rc (1.72 - 10.03) resulting in a reduction of point length up to 27%. It is concluded that surfaces with roughness profiles with higher peaks and greater distances between peaks and valleys negatively influence the filling of GP cones in the mold cavities.

Population aging is a phenomenon observed worldwide. However, contrary to this process, studies indicate that this population segment needs to receive the necessary attention in contemporary society. The extension of life has brought aging into the public spotlight, demanding the reorganization of the government's agenda and investment in public policies focused on this demographic. In this scenario, Social Assistance Policy stands out as a social protection mechanism and guarantees citizenship rights. The objective of this dissertation is to understand old age based on the experiences of the elderly, how they feel listened to, their perception of aging, and the challenges and possibilities they face as rights holders. Through this listening process, the aim was also to analyze how they understand their rights in this relationship and whether they know the role of social assistance in guaranteeing those rights. For this purpose, this study employed thematic oral history as a methodology, guiding interviews with four users of the Elderly Farm in Sorocaba, where the Service of Coexistence and Strengthening of Bonds (SCFV) takes place. Through their narratives, the elderly expressed their experiences, revealing how much we still need to progress as a society to provide comprehensive listening to older individuals. The material produced will promote reflections on the topic of aging, contributing to the construction of a critical and transformative framework.

The Family Health Strategy (ESF) is a model for producing care in the Primary Health Care (PHC) of the Unified Health System (SUS) in which a multi-professional team is responsible for meeting the health needs of the assigned community, based on a territorial and community approach with the production of bonds and active social participation. This research seeks to analyze the potential and challenges for innovation in comprehensive health care in a Family Health Unit (USF) in São Carlos-SP. In the light of dialectical historical materialism, we analyzed the object of study from its multiple determinations in a movement of transformation generated by social contradictions, from the reference of the social determination of the health-disease process to the disputes over models of health care in the SUS and the actions of professionals at the base of the production of care. Data collection began with observation of daily life at the USF, recorded in a field diary and then through interviews with a semi-structured script. The professionals from the Family Health team (eSF) took part in the research, providing elements for the theoretical translation of the reality they live and construct. The interview data was analyzed using dialectical hermeneutics. It was found that although health workers recognize the existence of multiple determinants of the health-disease process, overcoming the individualistic and sickening culture, which is hegemonic in the way life is lived in society; the medical-centered logic in the production of care, reinforced by the market view of health; the lack of autonomy and freedom in the organization of work processes; and the lack of funding for public health are collective challenges for the production of comprehensive health care. Potential ways of transforming these conditions, in the micro-political sphere, are actions of social innovation, with soft technologies, which recover the capacity to create living work in the encounter between workers and users, producing a bond and comprehensive reception of health needs; the recovery of community coexistence in spaces for health education, promotion and prevention; the permanent education of professionals and social participation. In addition, changes are needed in the organization of macro-policies in order to achieve the agreed guidelines in defense of life and a quality, public SUS.

Intérprete educacional e o aprender de alunos surdos: análise do contexto remoto no ensino superior
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-05-31) Iriarte, Anne Caroline Santana; Martins, Vanessa Regina de Oliveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4768682330164550; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3170-293X; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0621937402072502; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8791-5980
Translation and interpretation in Libras in the educational context has specific complexities that result from the model of inclusive education, which has Portuguese as the language of instruction, thus implying the presence of the interpreter to mediate the knowledge, information, and interactions that take place in the classroom. Besides, the widely dispersed discourses in legal provisions and guidelines do not always coincide with the real practices of educational interpretation, insofar as interpreters, by meeting the other-student, place themselves in a position of active mastership, acting on the frontier between interpreting and teaching, in partnership with regent teachers. With the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the work of educational interpreters has undergone changes beyond the interpretive act, as the historical moment required other kinds of knowledge, other practices in the face of the new class format: remote teaching. Therefore, this research aims to know inclusive practices in higher education, in a remote context, and understand how they set fundamental pedagogical actions for deaf students to learn through interpretation in Libras. For that, data were collected through interviews with educational interpreters and with a deaf student, in addition to observation with field recording in the virtual classroom of a university in the countryside of the state of São Paulo. The participants' discourses were analyzed based on theoretical studies of the philosophy of difference, through the Deleuzian lens in his concept of learning, in dialogue with the works O mestre inventor and O mestre ignorante, and with authors of Deaf Studies in Education, to discuss the pedagogic function exercised by the interpreter in the remote educational context, under the methodological perspective of a discourse analysis in Michel Foucault. As a result, I point out that, in remote teaching, the active mastership position of the interpreter was even more evident with the creative use of the functionalities of the virtual platforms, such as the written record of important data for the student's learning and the elaboration of interpreted and/or translated recorded materials, with multiple resources. On the other hand, remote teaching, to a certain extent, also distanced relationships in the classroom, limiting the creation of bonds between the deaf student and her hearing teachers and colleagues, which takes place through visuality. For Libras interpreters, the format expanded the possibilities of teamwork and their performance, but the work demands also increased, causing overload with physical and mental symptoms. With this, I hope that the research will contribute to the debate about the training of interpreters for remote work, the preparation of institutions, and the expansion of the offer of materials in Libras for deaf students in the in- person format as well.

The graduation of new engineers plays a fundamental role in the development of a nation, both in its economic and social aspects. However, increasing the number of engineers available in the job market is not a definitive solution to such questions, and it is necessary to qualify the type of engineers that are being graduated in our universities. In this research, we present the possibility of applying a sociological analysis system to a specific engineering school, in order to evaluate the pedagogical trends, philosophical currents and adjacent social fields that most influence the design of its courses and curricula, and consequently the profile of the engineer being formed. As a research methodology, we opted for the social fields analysis of the French philosopher and sociologist Pierre Bourdieu. The object of the research was chosen to be the School of Engineering of São Carlos (EESC-USP), and the document review technique of its Political-Pedagogical Projects (PPP) was used as the investigation tool, with the aim of replicating the same procedure in other engineering schools in the future.

To think about the body is to contemplate the forms of life and processes of individuation that single out and give rise to different ways of thinking, acting, and living. Among the various perspectives on the body and corporeality that are emerging for/in occupational therapy in dialogue with philosophy, sociology, arts, aesthetics, culture, and movement studies, I delve into the multiple senses of the body in the formative process. From a sensitive-critical-ethical-aesthetic-political dimension, I pay attention to sensitive and singular, distinct and plural events of existence that escape the realms of hegemonic rationality based on biomedical knowledge, in order to engage with knowledge and practices that evoke sensitive shifts. The research aimed to map how themes and experiences related to the body/corporeality promote sensitive displacements in the training of occupational therapists. Using cartography as the theoretical and methodological framework, I conducted research by observing formative processes in occupational therapy in Brazil, approaching practices and themes related to the body and corporeality. The research path became embodied and has been supported by my own experience and the experiences of other occupational therapists, forming a complex web that is woven and unwoven in the encounter between our individual practices. We inhabit and explore this realm as embodied beings, seeking to apprehend the presence of other bodies and the implications of such encounters in the construction of an embodied occupational therapy. As results, I present dimensions of the teaching-learning process that emerge from the embodied experiences of the research participants, giving rise to what I have termed the "invisible curriculum." I explore the desires and commitments that influence the creation of these curricula, as well as the inventive devices that are developed as strategies in this process. Subsequently, I embrace the formative process as an act of caring for oneself and others, reaffirming the significance of bodily experiences in shaping learning and understanding its resonances. Finally, constructing the research process involves looking at what is in the flesh and acknowledging that much has been said, yet much remains to be said. I was able to delve into the plane of experience and inhabit places that, despite being unfamiliar, provided crucial insights into occupational therapy training and enabled the production of this dissertation, which surpasses the rigid dichotomies, hierarchical structures, and colonized aspects of formative processes.

The present work has as a research question to understand how the conception of shelters in Roraima as temporary spaces of shelter for Venezuelan migrants reflects on the management practices of individuals by humanitarian agents and on the architecture of spaces. In this sense, it seeks to understand the mode of administration of the shelters of the Operation Acolhida, as an unprecedented response of the Brazilian Government to the increase in the flow of Venezuelans, and the apparent dichotomy between permanence and provisionality present in the shelters and in the initiatives of humanitarian, military institutions, and civil society. Methodologically, semi-structured interviews will be carried out with employees who work directly with refugees in the daily life of the shelters, applying the norms established by humanitarian agencies, as well as with Venezuelan refugees who went through the last stage of the Operation, the interiorization. In addition, document analysis, taking into account current legislation in Brazil and the regulations of humanitarian agencies involved in managing spaces, and bibliographic analysis, will be used to reinforce the presented argument. The research becomes relevant as it seeks to understand the strategies adopted by Operation Acolhida in the management of Venezuelan refugees in their most lasting process: the shelters, in addition to the application of humanitarian regulations, and their insertion in the midst of the contemporary migratory context. Thus, it will be possible to make approaches and distances from the shelters of the Operation Acolhida to the refugee camps at an international level, problematize the dichotomy between permanence and provisionality in spaces, and identify them, not only as emergency spaces, but as social institutions, with pre-established strategies and demands arising from humanitarian management combined with logistical issues and securitization

Introduction: Occupational Therapists have training that encompasses knowledge in the health and social areas, which allows them to work in health promotion and disease prevention, in the development and rehabilitation of people in different contexts of daily life. People with multiple sclerosis constitute a portion of the population that can benefit from the work of occupational therapists. However, the complexity of multiple sclerosis, with its wide range of symptoms and implications, presents significant difficulties for occupational therapists in their interventions. Considering the impact of multiple sclerosis on everyday life, it is imperative that occupational therapists develop actions that minimize the physical and psychosocial impacts of multiple sclerosis. Objective: To investigate the actions/interventions and contexts in which occupational therapists develop their practices with people with multiple sclerosis, based on a scoping review of the literature. Method: This is a study in which two research methodologies were used. Initially, an exercise is carried out to construct an auto-ethnographic essay based on my experience as an occupational therapist with people with MS. In the second part of the work, a scoping review was developed with the aim of identifying the actions/interventions and contexts in which occupational therapists develop their practices with people with MS, both in Brazil and abroad. The scope review was carried out according to procedures recommended by the PRISMA-ScR protocol. The search was carried out in the databases Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, PubMed, Cadernos Brasileiros de Terapia Ocupacional da UFSCar, Revista de Terapia Ocupacional da USP and Revista Interinstitucional de Terapia Ocupacional da UFRJ. Results: 1,365 records were found, from which, after relevant procedures, 32 articles published between 2005 and 2022 were selected. The articles point to the predominance of clinical studies focusing on functionality and disability. All studies describe interventions developed to evaluate or validate clinical intervention methods or instruments. Fatigue and cognitive deficits were the most investigated symptoms. Energy self-management and fatigue control, cognitive rehabilitation and physical rehabilitation were the most used intervention methods. Studies on physical activity, fall prevention, work, leisure and sleep were published less frequently. The prevalent procedures in the interventions were: educational lectures, discussion groups, cognitive rehabilitation, physical rehabilitation, yoga, relaxation, dance and sensory stimulation. Final considerations: Occupational therapists play important roles among the recommended interventions. Classic models and techniques in the occupational therapy repertoire have been used, both in individual approaches and in collective actions. Although studies on physical activity, fall prevention, work, leisure and sleep are less frequent, they highlight new intervention trends.
