    Inoculation of cultivars with diazotrophic bacteria such as Azospirillum brasilense can make crops more productive and sustainable, since it reduces the need for nitrogenous chemical fertilizers. However, it is necessary to develop bioinoculant formulations that maintain cell viability for long periods and provide protection against biotic and abiotic stresses. Osmotic, saline, radiation and temperature stresses represent challenges for the prevalence of A. brasilense cells in soil. As an alternative to this problem, the aim is to encapsulate A. brasilense cells in biodegradable matrices through the ionotropic gelation method, characterize the material and assess cell viability during storage. The method consists of forming macrobeads of the matrices containing the microorganism, through the dripping and crosslinking of a polymeric dispersion in a FeCl3 solution. The material chosen was carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) because it is a renewable, abundant and commercial material and trehalose because of its thermal protection capacity. Beads with a fixed amount of 2.5% CMC and 4 treatments containing 0%, 1%, 5% and 10% trehalose were produced and stored moist at 4 °C and 25 °C; and after drying at 25 °C. The CMC capsules without trehalose showed higher encapsulation efficiency and better viability up to the 15th day of storage at 25 °C. FTIR analysis evidenced the formation of the chemical structure of CMC crosslinking with Fe³⁺, and SEM analysis revealed a regular surface of the spheres. However, the formulation of Azospirillum inoculants requires further investigation, particularly regarding the optimal concentrations of CMC and trehalose and their influence on matrix stability and cell survival during prolonged storage.

    This study examines Critical-Transformative Environmental Education through the Generative Theme approach (EACT-TG), as proposed by Torres (2010), investigating its theoretical foundations and its application in the analysis of the “Currículo Paulista” (São Paulo, 2019) for the final years of elementary education. The research begins by reviewing the main curriculum theories, categorized by Silva (2016) into Traditional, Critical, and Post-Critical approaches, and enriched by contributions from other relevant scholars. The focus then shifts to the concept of the environment, discussing socially constructed representations (Naturalist, Anthropocentric, and Globalizing) as defined by Reigota (2010), along with a brief history of the environmental movement and Environmental Education (EE) in Brazil. The study also explores the major trends in EE (Conservationist, Pragmatic, and Critical), systematized by Layrargues and Lima (2014), emphasizing the principles of Critical Environmental Education (CEE) and its connection to Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of Liberation. A brief biography of Freire is presented, highlighting his contributions to education, such as dialogue, problem-posing, and generative themes, which underpin the EACT-TG approach. The methodology is qualitative, with an emphasis on bibliographic research and document analysis, understanding research as a reflective and dialogical process influenced by and influencing social life. Finally, the study conducts an in-depth analysis of how the theme of the environment is addressed in the “Currículo Paulista” for the final years of elementary education, using the core principles of EACT-TG (Dialogue and Problematization toward Awareness) as analytical parameters. The theoretical framework confirms that EACT-TG aims not only at environmental awareness but also at transforming the sociocultural and material relations of concrete reality, thereby providing a foundation for data analysis. The comparative analysis between the “Currículo Paulista” (São Paulo, 2019) and the principles of EACT-TG indicates that the curriculum reveals more divergences than alignments, limiting its emancipatory potential. Although the curriculum acknowledges the cross-cutting nature of environmental issues, it addresses the theme superficially, without incorporating students’ lived experiences or questioning the structural causes of environmental crises. Its emphasis on individual actions and prescriptive nature restricts teacher autonomy and distances the curriculum from a critical and transformative educational approach, as envisioned by Freirean principles.

    In this work, the assembly of an electrochemical system coupled to a conventional microwave oven was optimized to investigate its feasibility for reproducible microwave-assisted electrochemistry. The study addressed the influence of the main system variables, such as the height of the electrode inside the microwave cavity, the electrolyte concentration, and the solution temperature, on the variation of the open-circuit potential during 7 s microwave pulses. The cleanliness of the system components was verified by cyclic voltammetry, and the solution resistance was evaluated by EIS. Several tools were specifically developed for this system, including custom-machined Teflon flow tubes and a laser positioner with magnetic mounting. The experiments performed using a 23 factorial design were successful mainly due to the reduction of the microwave oven’s input voltage, which prevented electrical arcing that previously damaged the system. The results showed that electrode height and electrolyte concentration are significant factors in the electrochemical response, contributing to a localized increase in temperature at the electrode surface. Comparison with computational simulations confirmed the validity of the experimentally observed trends, aligning with previous findings and demonstrating the effectiveness of the system in providing localized thermal assistance during electrochemical experiments. This study opens new possibilities for the application of microwaves in electrochemistry, presenting a simpler and more reproducible assembly method compared with those previously described in the literature.

    In a context of continuous adaptation of football to business modes of management, neoliberalism, interpreted as a rationality, aims to produce a new football culture. This research aimed to understand how the discourses and practices of this football-business have been produced, reproduced and elaborated by different groups of agents of Brazilian football. To fulfill this objective, the research carried out documentary analysis from various sources, produced directly and indirectly by investment agencies focused on sports analysis, specialized press, club leaders and fan sectors in Brazil. It was observed how neoliberal rationality had an impact on different aspects of Brazilian football. At its discursive level, the business language is widely reproduced in an uncritical way, especially among sports journalists and club leaders, but also among sectors of the fans. On an organizational level, the advent of the SAF materialized the neoliberal solution to the crisis of the associative clubs, establishing itself as a business and management model to be copied. It was also found that new fan subjectivities have been molded with the objective of producing a fan-consumer subject adapted to this new football culture. It is concluded that, with the focus on the suppression of politics, perceived as the activity capable of producing tensions to an established order, neoliberalism has managed to establish itself, until this moment, as the hegemonic order in the football field

    The advancement of the Internet has resulted in an increase in the continuous generation of data, raising the risks of damage caused by cyber threats. Firewalls play a crucial role in network security by providing protection against these threats. They operate by organizing log records based on specific rules, considering criteria such as the purpose of connections and the policies established by the organization. Updating these rules is challenging, and inadequate choices can lead to security vulnerabilities. Related work on predicting recommended actions for network traffic still employs traditional machine learning methods, where the dataset is static and can be repeatedly traversed, while detecting new patterns requires a new cycle of training, testing, and implementing new models. However, network traffic is continuously captured by a firewall, and its behavior can change both abruptly and gradually. This is common in network environments, where it is necessary to adapt to frequent changes in security policies, network modifications, or new threats. This work proposes the application of the MINAS and Adapted CluStream algorithms to predict recommended actions in network traffic. The logs consist of sessions of network traffic captured by a firewall from an educational institution. Adaptation is necessary for these algorithms to classify the recommended actions (Allow, Deny, Drop, and ResetBoth) in a data stream scenario. CluStream is an incremental algorithm, while MINAS, besides being incremental, specializes in novelty detection. Both algorithms were selected for their specificities and capabilities in learning and evolving the model as new data arrives from the data stream. Experiments conducted demonstrate that both algorithms showed distinct results in the data stream, with satisfactory performance across different metrics throughout the experiments.

    Scientific dissemination provides non-specialist citizens with the opportunity to effectively participate in public debates, decision-making, and conscious choices in their daily lives, through inputs provided by the circulation and cognition of contextualized scientific information. In this area, social media stands out by moving from being a source of entertainment to becoming a source of information. TikTok, the object of analysis of this research, stands out as a potential channel for scientific dissemination and has been used by influencers and researchers who are able to quickly approach scientific information for young users who seek content on this platform, often to the detriment of traditional sources of information. This descriptiveexploratory research with quantitative and qualitative approaches has the general objective of investigating Brazilian digital influencers (researchers) who use TikTok for scientific dissemination and analyzing the content (topics) they address. To structure the research, a bibliographic survey was carried out to compose the theoretical framework and select science TikTokers (researchers) – the latter action was carried out in search engines and on the platform itself (TikTok), based on a previous protocol. An alternative model of Bardin's content analysis was applied to collect and analyze the data. The interpretation of the 407 published contents shows that the scientific dissemination model applied on the platform can affect the development of information practices and media competence of followers who consume scientific information. It was clear that not all TikTokers invest in sharing information with references/sources, reducing the possibility of followers developing an interest in the topic/subject outside the platform. When analyzing the content of the TikTokers investigated, it was observed that the narrative structure is maintained to share more contextualized scientific information, especially that categorized as curiosities. Digital influencers, by acting as mediators of scientific knowledge, can play an important role in the democratization of information and in strengthening scientific literacy in digital environments.

    This research investigated the instruments and methodological procedures necessary for the development of the higher psychological functions of voluntary attention and the formation of scientific concepts in six-year-old children during Physical Education classes. This study was supported by Historical-Cultural Theory, which postulates that human development is shaped by social interactions, language, and the appropriation of culture in a given historical context. The theory's principles are: the development of the human mind through the appropriation of historically constituted social forms of human activity, effective activity appropriate to the individual, and the development of higher psychological functions that foster self-control and self-mastery. The research aimed: to develop instruments and methodological procedures inherent to the development of the psychological functions of voluntary attention and the formation of scientific concepts, using social role-playing and table/board games; to develop a pedagogical intervention experiment based on the learning needs of the target people; and to discuss the effectiveness of the methodological instrument applied. They used the following methodological instruments: a pedagogical intervention experiment with systematic and participant observation and structured activities aligned with the fundamentals of Historical-Cultural Theory; activities consisting of body tracking and board tracking, human chess and board chess, laterality games, and social role games, to promote social interaction. For systematic observations, we used video recordings and a field diary. The results showed that, in the pedagogical intervention experiment, the integration of bodily experiences and symbolic games favored the development of voluntary attention and scientific concepts, especially when they are mediated by language and conscious action. We emphasize the role of "affinity groups" in organizing relationships among students, which required intentionality on the part of the researcher to foster meaningful mediating activities for learning. The results also showed that the transposition from the concrete to the abstract proved effective, especially when it is anchored in bodily experience. We concluded that intentional pedagogical environments, structured with social role-playing and table/board games, significantly favored the development of voluntary attention and the formation of scientific concepts in six-year-old children. Planned teacher mediation, based on the Action Guiding Framework and levels of assistance, proved effective in promoting the conscious and autonomous internalization of learning, reaffirming the principles of Historical-Cultural Theory and contributing with new perspectives to pedagogical practice in Physical Education.
