Um estudo sobre políticas e subsídios para a identidade hispânica em Sorocaba

Abstract

Search of a record of cultural material and immaterial manifestations of the hispanic community in Sorocaba, its influence, identity, memory and cultural heritage and its transformations since its origin. Through this mapping condense and document - by bibliography, images and participatory observation - the cultural elements of the community, allowing propose and analyze necessary actions for its preservation. The participatory observation methodology was chosen in order to grant depth quality for the collected data. A preliminary mapping framework of these manifestations presented a lack of support from the government and its own community in actions aimed to enrich these assets and support culture.
