Abstract

Cabbage is a vegetable of high nutritional value and balanced fertilization is essential to ensure high productivity and quality of agricultural products. The curly kale, less known than the flat leaf kale, is beneficial for consumption, however, little is known about the influence of the type of fertilization on nutritional characteristics. The objective of the study was to evaluate the influence of fertilizers on the productivity and mineral composition of curly kale, Darkibor hybrid. The treatments were four sources of organic fertilizers, one of which is an organomineral and the control, without fertilization. The highest productivity was observed for cabbages submitted to treatment with organomineral fertilizer in all harvests. The fertilizers used made it possible to produce curly kale with adequate mineral composition.
