Resumo

Objective: To evaluate the reliability of the adapted version of the Special Needs Kids Questionnarie for Portuguese in Brasil. Method: Pilot test conducted with parentes and/or guardians over the age of 18 years old, of prematura born children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The recruitment of eligible candidates took place through dissemination on social networks of an Association of parentes of premature babies, who responded to the instrument through na online form. After fifteen days, participants were contacted to reapply the adapted version, a method known as test-retetest. Cronbath’s Alpha and Intraclass Correlation Coefficient were calculated to assess internal consistency and reliability, respectively. Inaddition, the existence of floor-ceiling effect was verified. Ethical precepts were followed. Results: Had 89 participants in the test and 44 in the retest, all mothers. Regarding Cronbach’s Alpha calculation, all items presented values higher than 0.70. The floor-ceiling effect occurred for all items. Regarding the reliability of the items, 15 of the 20 items demonstrated moderate reliability and three high items. Items 9, 2 and 12 showed poor reliability. Conclusion: It is recommended tha health professionals apropriate SpeNK-Q to subsidize their practice since this instrument proved to be reliable and has the potential to identify the fragmentation and discontinuity of care received by the CRIANES and their families in a systematic and reliable way and, consequently, promote integrate and continuous assistance.
