Resumo

In this paper the genus Heterospilus Haliday (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Doryctinae), captured in areas of semidecidual mesophytic forests in the State of São Paulo were studied. Collections were made primarily in state parks and ecological stations in São Paulo State, Brazil. Malaise traps, Moericke traps and sweeping the vegetation were used to capture specimens. 638 specimens divided into four morphospecies based on sculpturing of the vertex (dorsal region of the head) were captured. Altogether, 14 new species with smooth vertex, 18 with granulate vertex, 18 with striate vertex and one with rugose vertex were found. The locality with the highest abundance of specimens was Núcleo Picinguaba in Ubatuba (247), followed by Parque Estadual Morro do Diabo in Teodoro Sampaio and Núcleo Santa Virgínia in São Luis do Paraitinga (150 and 115 respectively). From the analysis of Bray-Curtis, there was greater similarity between the fauna of Parque Estadual Morro do Diabo and Núcleo Santa Virgínia with over 80% of similaridae, both with a 60% similarity with Nucleo Picinguaba. Identification keys, description and illustration of the new species were provided. As the length of ovipositor is an important feature to sort of species, were described in this paper only females specimens.
