Abordagem da determinação social do processo saúde-doença no curso de medicina: narrativas e reflexões sobre minha trajetória na Universidade Federal De São Carlos
Abstract
The doing method in health field is achieved through the acquisition of concepts, ideas, values and conduct of Professional sandusers of the services. It is tied to some specific historical, social, cultural, political and technological moment and reflects the formation of the medical professional. As time goes by, there have been several established paradigms which were incorporated to the medical course curriculum, about the health-illness care process. Amid all of them, the biopsychosocial is the one adopted at medical course curriculum at Federal University of São Carlos. Nevertheless, would that pattern be as critical-reflexive as the demands in medical care system experienced by the students in that course? In order to think about such a question, some narratives experienced by the author during her graduation time were highlighted, prompting some review over the social determination of health-illness care process.
