Copulas are cumulative distribution functions defined on the unit square whose margins are uniform. In the context of the present work, we have provided three new families of semilinear copulas based on the copulas AMH, FGM and Plackett. More precisely, we have applied the diagonal functions related to each of them with the purpose of obtaining the expressions of the new families. Besides that, it has been calculated the respective Spearman rho coefficient from each transformed copula, whose values have been studied thoroughly.

In this work, we use the survival model derived from the PVF copula, based on the Power Variance ...
Essays on bivariate option pricing via copula and heteroscedasticity models: a classical and bayesian approach Lopes, Lucas Pereira (Universidade Federal de São Carlos, UFSCar, Programa Interinstitucional de Pós-Graduação em Estatística - PIPGEs, Câmpus São Carlos, 15/02/2019)This dissertation is composed of two main and independents essays, but complementary. In the first one, we discuss the option price under a bayesian perspective. This essay aims to price and analyze the fair price behavior ...
