Fecho integral de módulos, multiplicidades e poliedros de Newton
Abstract
In this work, we study the integral closure of ideals, Newton polyhedra and Newton non-degenerate ideals. Moreover, we present generalizations of these concepts for modules then, we study the characterization of Newton non-degenerate submodules of On^p. For this we use the Buchsbaum-Rim multiplicity and the mixed multiplicities of ideals. In the Newton non-degenerate case these multiplicities were described by volumes of Newton polyhedra.

Poliedros de Newton e invariantes de singularidades determinantais
Costa, Maicom Douglas Varella Costa (Universidade Federal de São Carlos, UFSCar, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Matemática - PPGM, Câmpus São Carlos, 31/01/2024)In this work, we study invariants of determinantal singularities, by analysing the Newton polyhedra which arise from the entries of a given matrix. The main contribution of this work is providing sufficient conditions, ... -

A álgebra graduada associada a uma valorização
Barnabé, Matheus dos Santos (Universidade Federal de São Carlos, UFSCar, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Matemática - PPGM, Câmpus São Carlos, 30/11/2021)We begin this work with a study of the graded algebra associated to a valuation $\nu: K \longrightarrow \Gamma_{\infty}$. We verify that in the cases where the value group is free or the residue field is closed by radicals, ...
