This dissertation seeks to develop some differentiated activities for the introduction of the
teaching of functions to a ninth grade elementary school class, with the objective of creating a
meaningful teaching and learning process for the student and to overcome the common difficulties
presented by the students about the teaching this content. For this, the activities are based on
using different methodologies, such as the use of games and digital technologies, so that students
can reach and enhance the learning skills expected for this school year, according to the school
curriculum of the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC).
