Ukraine on the fertilizer market in Brazil. The general objective is to evaluate the impact of the Russia/Ukraine war on the domestic fertilizer market. Specific goals Investigate the panorama of the national fertilizer market and
origins of the main chemical fertilizers; analyze the impact on the main agricultural agricultural regions and crops in Brazil. The research was conducted using collected through bibliographic reviews and institutional sources, with an emphasis on the year 2022, after the

The war affected the prices of potash, urea and diammonium phosphate (DAP), causing drastic increases in prices and consequently a decrease in the quantity of these imported inputs. This study concluded that Brazilian agriculture is highly vulnerability of Brazilian agriculture, highlighting its dependence on imported fertilizers. The war also had a significant impact on fertilizer imports, especially in the case of potassium and DAP, due to the strong link with Russia. Although urea showed greater flexibility in terms of imports, it terms of imports, it also faced challenges due to the natural gas crisis.
