Resumo
The present work focuses on the relationship between deaf and sign language interpreters, under an ethnic-racial perspective. The tireless struggles of black movements have made it possible to win rights. In the scope of deafness and national deaf communities there is a similar advance, due to the recognition of the Brazilian Sign Language and the presence of the professional interpreter of Libras. In this professional environment, blacks are gradually expanding their performance and consolidating themselves as an identity reference for the deaf student who is black. In this scenario, linguistic and cultural differences encourage the development of research in order to analyze the relationships established between deaf and interpreters. The present work will investigate aspects related to the referred context, through state-of-the-art scientific research, related to the presence of racism in the school language in works involving these two themes, deafness and blackness. The analysis of the data found through the search for theses and dissertations from the CAPES database (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel), will be related to studies in the area of deafness, blackness and education peculiar to this study.
