Relações de agenda e enquadramento entre a imprensa e a propaganda negativa eleitoral nas eleições presidenciais de 2014
Resumo
This thesis aims to identify the relation between press and electoral campaigns in Brazilian‘s negative propaganda. This research is based on the effects of the attacks in a lawsuit, the repercussion of press and the characterizing the ripple effect. We will analyze whether this issues reinforced the opposition against the government‘s agenda. Our research hypothesis is that this agenda attracts the repercussion of the Brazilian printed newspapers. To do so, we will analyze the 2014 presidential election campaign. The corpus of the research was composed by the analysis of the Free Elective Advertising Hours (HGPE), spots and by texts of the two main national newspapers, namely Folha de São Paulo and Globo; during the electoral campaign. Finally, we will show this agenda‘s repercussion in the periodicals as an opposition‘s reinforcement, confirming the presented hypotheses.
