Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the possibilities of professional performance of graduates from the music university course, as well as the perceptions of these subjects regarding their employment. The proposal was to verify how precariousness and flexibility, characteristics of the universe of contemporary work and artistic activities in particular, are present in the practice of their work/artistic activities, as well as understanding how their insertion in the labor market occurs. work, what are the main activities carried out and how they are experienced. The study has a qualitative character and was carried out through trajectory analysis, conducted through biographical interviews in the format of life stories and oral reports, in order to extensively analyze these trajectories and capture the training paths and work activities carried out. The interlocutors graduated from the Music Degree course at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar).
