Resumo

This Undergraduate thesis aims to investigate the contribution of museum visits to the Pedagogues´ education. To this end, it sought to understand the role that the museum institution plays in education, the objectives and meanings of the aesthetic, cultural and artistic education of these professionals. Of a qualitative nature, with a bibliographic and narrative approach, the research includes the narrative of two experiences lived by the author as a student of the Pedagogy course, when visiting the exhibition MAHKU Mirações (from the Huni Kuin Artists Movement), at the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP), and the Gallery/Studio of the Sorocabano artist Ernesto Ferro. As a result, it was verified that visiting museums can be understood as an action of artistic formation of Pedagogues, since it favors education in the aesthetic and cultural dimensions, guaranteeing the right to study necessary for the effectiveness of the duty, as a professional of Education, of promoting the teaching of Art for and with children, as well as the educational action of cultural mediation that it exercises.
