Resumo

Extract, produce and dispose, this is the most widespread linear economic model today, which includes the generation of waste, the use of energy and finite natural resources. Due to the growing concern for the environment, the concept of circular economy has been gaining prominence to replace the current model that has become increasingly harmful to the environment. The circular economy (EC), inspired by closed cycles, proposes solutions that allow the circularity of resources in the economy. Resources that have great utility potential, useful life, easy separability, renewable or reused raw materials are valued. Brazil is one of the countries with the highest rate of use of deodorants and antiperspirants in the world, according to the Brazilian Association of the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry (ABIHPEC). Thus, this work sought to collect information about deodorant packages, mainly on biodegradable packages and roll-on and aerosol deodorant packages; analyzed and compared the environmental impact of these three types of packaging within circular economy practices; evaluated the existing alternatives and proposed alternatives for recovery and recycling processes, such as: recycling cooperatives, among others.
