De mulheres e de algumas relações familiares no Portugal do século XX: uma leitura de A boneca despida, de Paulo M. Morais

Abstract

The main objective of this Final Course Work is to analyze the novel A boneca despida (2023), by the Portuguese writer Paulo M. Morais, highlighting, above all, the women in this plot and how they act, according to each of the historical periods in which they are inserted. At the same time, we will also seek to verify how the socio-historical system has been changing, fully affecting each of the female trajectories (BARREIRA, 1992; FREIRE, 2010; POLICARPO, 2011). We will try to demonstrate that such analysis is possible, due to the construction of the protagonist, the character Julieta, who spans more than 100 years of the country's history, from the colonial period of Portugal to democratization.
