Resumo

The present study aims to address and understand aspects related to the teaching of Biology involving blind or visually impaired students in the context of the inclusive school. It seeks to develop a narrative review about the political landmarks of special education, the teaching and learning processes involving blind or visually impaired students in the school context and the perspective of the universal design of learning and assistive technology; - produce a tactile resource that allows working on a certain curricular content of the discipline of Biology in the second year of high school; - develop a lesson plan in which it is possible to put a biology class in perspective based on the principles of inclusive education addressed in the study. It is, therefore, a qualitative research based on the narrative review and the production of tactile resources. The work contributes towards thinking about the configuration of pedagogical practices that consider the educational specificities of students (with disabilities) in order to enhance an organization of teaching based on significant learning processes with a view to the use of resources that allow access to knowledge school.
