Entre cuidados e saberes: a Maternidade como lente na formação docente

Abstract

This academic memoir aims to present and reflect on the personal and professional journey experienced throughout the Pedagogy undergraduate course at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Based on a qualitative and descriptive approach with a narrative focus, striking formative experiences are described, especially those lived during an internship in Early Childhood Education. The text also articulates aspects of motherhood with the construction of the teaching identity, considering individual perceptions and engaging in dialogue with theoretical contributions addressed in the coursework. This perspective seeks to promote a critical reflection on the challenges and transformations of educational practice, understanding it as a continuous and historically situated process.
